We stayed for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in the old part of the city, just a 2-minute walk from the bus stop and very close to the main street, which made the location extremely convenient. The room was small but very cozy and beautifully styled, with everything we needed. Breakfast was great and served on a terrace with a lovely city view. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They assisted us with directions to the airport and even provided umbrellas for guests on rainy days. On our last morning, when we had to check out before breakfast time, they kindly prepared sandwiches for us to take on the road, which we truly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Istanbul.

The staff were lovely and welcoming. We stayed for our 1st year’s marriage anniversary in the standard triple room. The room was nice and clean, albeit a lot cosier than in the photos. Sufficient for a couple but could be a little cramped for more.
The building is quite old and the walls are thin, however the brickwalls adds to the charm of the place.
Its location is ideal for anyone who wishes to visit the Grand Bazar, Bacila Cistern, Topkapi Palace, Haga Sophia, Balat, etc. Can all be easily walked to or via bus or tram from the nearby station

The room was very clean and tidy. It was small room but comfortable. The manager was great. He was very helpful and professional. There is a roof terrace with beautiful views of Istanbul and the Bosphorous.

I booked this place with high expectations… Just after check-in with clear instructions and we were in our room, just realized the state of the bathroom… the sink falling (for the half-rotten appearance it’s been like this for a long time), the toilet inside the shower area, and the shower outside. Sheets with stains and the horrible smell of sewage coming from the bathroom it was horrible. Just next to train rails, so impossible to sleep if you don’t have earplugs. Also, you can listen everything from other rooms. After complaining, and with any apologize from the staff, offered a suite at Lumina boutique hotel. This one was Ok. As they canceled my booking at Astra boutique hotel, I wasn’t able to give a review. Hope this gets to someone who is looking to book this place. Don’t.

Good service, tolerant, uncompromising, they help you with everything at any time, they run around with a smile, they even helped me carry the luggage while leaving, I loved it and I will go again as soon as possible, I recommend it...

I came to istanbul for a holiday, I made a reservation at the hotel only to stay, but I never thought that I could have so much fun and spend time in a hotel, sunrise in the morning, enjoying the view accompanied by the sounds of seagulls and ferries, although the hotel is a 150-year-old historical building, it was beautifully restored. The staff at the hotel is very warm They act like they are bloody and always ready to help. Even though I don't know about Istanbul, they introduced me to Istanbul very well and made me have a great time. Thanks to the Astra boutique family...

We just came back from visiting Turkey. I just want to say that our stay in Astra Boutique was just amazing. This place has its own charm. My kids wished they stayed longer in this hotel and they are not easy to please! I had a wonderful experience at this café! The atmosphere is absolutely stunning — the beautiful stone arches, cozy seating, and warm interior design create such a relaxing and classy vibe. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy your time.
One of the best parts is the breathtaking view. You can clearly see the Galata Tower, and the entire surrounding area is visible from the café. The panoramic view makes the whole experience even more magical, especially while enjoying a coffee.
The service was excellent, and a special thanks to the host, Muhammad, who was incredibly welcoming and attentive. He made sure everything was perfect and made us feel genuinely comfortable.

Visiting Halic Coffee has been an incredible experience. Great food and service, but the best is the incredible view over the Golden Horn of Estambul. Beautiful place!. Thanks.

Perfect spot for breakfast, coffee or shisha with beautiful view, except it is understaffed and you could wait way too long. 45 minutes for cappuccino (other person from table already had his long ago) and over 1 hour for breakfast. It’s okay if you have a free day, but not if you have a schedule.

Such a beautiful view and great room. We stayed in and watched the fireworks over new year from the room and it was excellent. close to the metro and easy to navigate.
The owners and staff were extremely helpful, booked a taxi to the airport for us and were very accommodating, conversating with us and offering tea.
