I stayed in Istanbul for a business meeting on Monday, but already arrived on Friday and such had a weekend to explore this magnificent city. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the European part of the city, with less than 10 minutes walking to the Sultanahmet Place with Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The receptionists are professional, friendly, helpful and polite, the breakfast is excellent with local, "home made" dishes.
Also to mention the beautiful view from the roof top!

Before you get in to your room you smell cat pee in the building. There were stains on the bed and sofa. No running water. When I went to bed (after midnight. Had a long day of travel) I heard the room next to me having sex and in an other room I heard someone take a pee as if he stood next to me. Slept with my clothes on the bed. The first thing I did was book an other hotel. Even if I got an other room the cat pee and thin walls stay there. I have booked with booking.com. When booking asked for a refund the hotel said that the room was clean and I didn’t got my money back.

The bed was spacious and comfortable. The walls were thin and I could hear the voices from the reception room.

Excellent location within walking distance of main attractions. The rooms were clean and cosy, though a bit small and sometimes feeling cramped. The staff were very friendly, but I did notice that cleaners touch and move personal belongings, which was a little unsettling.

Sultanahmet Hotel is a very nice place to stay. Its close to all famous attractions in Istanbul. Hotel staff is amazing and very help. Room cleanliness is very professional standards. Overall we have a very good experience.

I had the most wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The staff has been incredibly kind, sweet and supportive from the moment I arrived. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort during my stay. In particular, when I found myself in an emergency situation; when I had to book a room at last moment, they immediately offered me a room without hesitation or any questions asked. This genuine act of kindness made me feel so welcome and taken care of, that too in a different country, and I am truly grateful for their generosity. If you’re looking for a hotel that feels like home, SULTANAHMET INN is the place to be! Thank you again for everything. Kubiyal and his partner, they make sure that every need of the customers is fulfilled. Not to forget they have an amazing terrace with an amazingly beautiful view of the sea. People pay for this view but you get it for free with your booking. The breakfast they serve is also top notch, it’s clean and healthy. Didn’t imagine because of these people, I will love Istanbul more than I imagined. Much love to every staff of this hotel. My heartfelt thanks to Kubiyal and his partner for doing so much for me. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The service was impeccable, the rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of.
The location was perfect, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was both relaxing and luxurious. I can confidently say this was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. Highly recommended – I will definitely be coming back!

I stayed at this hotel with my father for 7 days. The location is impeccable. We stayed in one of the rooms facing the hippodrome and it was really worth it. The breakfast was also very good and varied and the view was just wonderful. But the best part of this hotel was its kind, professional and friendly staff. Everyone, from the ladies who prepared breakfast, to the house keepers, to the receptionists, were all extremely warm and friendly. Mr. Mesut, the manager was incredibly helpful and gave us a lot of good guidance on what to do and see. He was really polite, kind nad professional. I can't say enough about how welcome him and his team made us feel. Next time we are in Istanbul, we will do our best to book a room with them again. 5 stars.

Very safe hotel , with a great location, i was very comfortable living in it because its beside a police station.

- elevator is too small , it can take 3 maximum without the bags
- breakfast is not varied, repeated , everyday the same food, with a very very small changes
- food is too expensive, i bought a Sandwich for 600TL

What can I say about this hotel, pure hospitality and a must stay when your in Istanbul. Take it from me the service is special especially Mehmut and Sena who always greet you and take care of you whenever you need. Sena especially well done! The breakfast is fresh whenever you need no matter what time you get up. If you need a top up a fresh portion it will be made for you.
