Burgaz Izer Hotel in Luleburgaz

I've stayed here for 2 nights after a long trip by car from Europe. The hotel has a glorious presence when looked upon from distance, but it has it's downside when looked closer.

There are a lot of points to adress.

Lets start woth service: the reception is always there when you need them. The personel is helpfull but they lack quite the experience. There is no welcoming or greeting, getting directly down to business and they keep their conversations short. Not quite the way hospitality works in my opinion. So a hospitality course for the personel will be in place.

Airconditioning: with the hot summer months it is one of the important aspects of a hotel. The first room they gave me had a defect AC. After 5 short conversations with the receptionist (trial&error, they can operate the AC from distance) they decided to move me to an other room. The first room was really thorn down by the way. The second room was in better shape. However. You need to call the receptionist each time you want something done with the AC. A bit unusual in my opinion. The AC in the new room works perfect

Cleaniless: the rooms are nice but not clean. There is a lot of dust in the unused corners and window sides. The bathrooms are degraded in such a matter that a simple cleaning will not do the job. They need proper maintance.

Noise: the rooms facing towards the busy roadside are subject to noise pollution. Take your earplugs with you if you eventually decide. Or take a room on the backside. Have not noticed any disturbance from the neigbouring rooms.

Maintance: the rooms need proper maintaince. Most small defects a very unprofesionally patched up, which may cause dangerous situations, and are very ugly. My advise: check each room every week for defects and fix them asap in a professional matter.

Price: The rate is €33,- per night for a 2 person room. Which is normal for this setup.

Location: for car travelers, this hotel is ideal. It is located near a transit road. Centrum is 5 mins aways by car. They have two huge parking places on the front of the hotel but it is not secured by security.

Food: i have not tried their breakfast, so no comment on this aspect. However, the rooms are supplied with tea bags and a watercooker to make your own tea.

My conclusion: this was my first and last time at this hotel.

Great location!!! Customer services I will give 2 stars, rooms clean , need to upgrade like work in water heat , they use solar heaters water, maybe they are old system cuz water just work with it sunny 🌞 outside , don’t get showers at night time lol ,our room in specific , bathroom mirror was broke, and toilet paper dispenser also was broken 😞, we have to call few times to front desk for asking for clean towels, other than that hotel is great 👍🏼, you can stay for couple days and get on the road again , don’t forget to bring your own soap 🧼 and ice 🧊 it not free refrigerator doesn’t work omg 😱 but they give at least one bottle of water 💧 per day lol

receptionist does not give a room for 2 people and 3 times did not take care of my concerns

The room door could not be locked, 2 lamps could not be turned off, directly above our beds, we could not open the window at night because there was no protection(e.g. nets) from mosquitos or other insects. Water pressure in the bathroom was too low. There was no staff in the bar. The door of the wardrobe the fridge in our room was in fell when we tried to open it. Overall, a bad experience!
