Royal Ideal Beach Hotel

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE

Worst hotel I have ever been to, they say they cater for British people and they don't serve any food that most British people would eat, for 4 days now I have been eating salad and bread, And I have had to go to the local market and buy myself food.

If you do buy your own food and drink don't expect to beable to take it to your room, although a fridge is provided they don't allow food or drinks in the room.

Normal soft drinks included for all inclusive but they tried to charge for Diet Coke for a guest who is diabetic.

There aren't enough tables in the hotel to seat all the guests during meals.

There aren't enough sun beds around the pool to seat everyone.

The private beach is the worst 1 on the strip every other beach is fine shingle but theirs is boulders that hurt to walk on even in trainers never mind bare foot.

The waiters and guest staff are rude and don't care about your well being.

3 days we have asked for our room to be cleaned but they have 1 cleaning lady for the whole hotel so hasn't been done.
We don't have bed sheets we have a small throw from the bottom of the bed as a sheet to sleep at night (which isn't big enough for a double bed so me and my partner have to have 1 each)

On the site it says there are 2 pools yes there are if you want to count the 1 that can't be accessed around the back that is empty and overgrown with weeds

All inclusive doesn't mean all inclusive, the bar shuts at 10:30 and unlike any English bar where last orders you can grab 3-4 drinks each they try to limit you to 1 each

Also to top it all off the owner decided to shut off the majority of the hotel from 1600-1800 for his own wedding ok it was annoying so we went out for the day, we have just come back at 20:45 and they are now having tha after party around the pool so all guests that want to be up are crammed into the tiny bar area, I wouldn't be so annoyed if he hadn't lied straight to my face when I spoke to him (especially as they started setting up the night before meaning we could hardely use the pool even before the wedding started)

General maintenance of the hotel is shocking, lift broke down with my partner inside it, there are holes in the lift panel with wires inside, live or not I haven't checked as don't want to put my finger on them, bathroom door doesn't hang straight so keeps sliding open, there are doors in the toilets that the handles and doors have been smashed on and not repaired or replaced,
If you decide to use the stairs instead of the lift (in fear of it breaking down) take a torch with you, half the lights only turn on if you are directly below them or after you have left and the other half the sensors don't work at all or they stay on for all of 2 seconds then plunge you into darkness.

Last night we woke up at 3 in the morning to a Turkish man in our room drunk because he had lost his key so reception gave him a master key and he came into our room, what would have happened if we didn't wake up to the door opening?!

Worst holiday I have been on, I came here to relax and I wish I had paid the extra and gone elsewhere as I am probally more stressed here than when I was in England

Apparently this is a 4 star hotel it's a 2 at the most and really needs a hotel inspector to come round without letting them know to see the extent of how bad it is

The most AWEFUL HOTEL I EVER HAD IN ALL TURKEY VACATIONS!!! IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS!! food and service were nearly okay, Because good employees. But all of these were running Because THEY GOT NO PAY SINCE 3 MONTHS!!! so no hammam, no spa, no animation, no kids Club...while hotel owner and witch wife have tons of gold jewelry hanging on themselves.. Beach was all closed too.. The stuff made the best of that little that little that was given to them..i am really Grateful for that.
Oh: MY BABY SON (2YEARS OLD AND HAS EPILEPSY!!!) GOT BEATEN BY HOTEL OWNER ON HIS HEAD!!! (BECAUSE LITTLE ONE WAS CLOSING THE LOBBY DOOR!!)! i am still thinking to report that to the local police when i am there next time..DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!
Water slide only after 100 requests switched on... THE MOST CHILD UNFRIENDLY HOTEL I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! NO GO.

If you are planning to go to this hotel DON'T BOTHER, it's "SUPPOSED TO BE" 4* I wouldn't give it 1*.

Had a terrible experience . Room was clean and cleaned daily. Hotel was dirty food awful and the same every day. Why reuse food left by others . Queing for meals with rude Russians and being served by unhappy staff .
Bar ran out of Beer twice and spirits once during the 2 week stay. Staff thought it funny to hit drunk Russian guests. Pool was not cleaned until we complained had white sticky foam on swimwear not good. Pool when cleaned cut my foot on sharp tiles at least pool was cleaned . Did complain to mangement less then helpful.

If I could give this a 0 star I would, the place is not like the pictures, staff rude , food disgusting, rooms dirty, if you complained they would call the police and some weird men would follow you around, I was with my 7 year old daughter so , it got very scary , thank god I had other brits to be around with, the place needs shutting down, when I spoke with a rep ,the manager accused me of being drunk and leaving my child alone in the room, I don't even drink when I have my daughter, even fiilmed the bar staff saying they haven't served me one drink, the manager wouldn't even come out to speak to me, PLEASE stay away from this hotel

Still here at moment but won't use this particular hotel again. Owners grandchildren are horrid and break other kids toys spit at adults and don't get told to stop. Food is awful same burger meat either in bun or as sausage or in casserole. We haven't had light in bathroom since we arrived and it's been reported daily. The pool has broken steps and sharp objects in pool...cut toe. Stay away choose elsewhere in area
