Description

Reutlingenhof Boutique Hotel - Special Class is a small hotel in Antalya’s historic Kaleiçi district, housed in a four-story building constructed in 1999 and renovated in 2012. The hotel has 16 rooms designed in an alpine style, ranging from economy to suites with various sea and garden views. Guests have access to free Wi-Fi, a restaurant, a bar, and a 24-hour front desk. A public sandy beach with a platform lies just 100 meters away, although umbrellas and loungers are available for an extra charge. The hotel offers facilities such as air conditioning (controlled centrally by reception), family rooms, and accessibility features. Check-in starts at 14:00, and check-out is until noon. While rooms are described as comfortable and clean by some guests, others note issues with air conditioning controls and noise from the nearby street. Breakfast is continental and served between 08:00 and 10:00 but is generally considered very basic.

Location

The hotel is located in Kaleiçi, Antalya’s old town, at Mermerli Banyo Sokak No: 23. It is approximately 500 meters from Antalya city center and 12 kilometers from Antalya Airport (AYT). The nearest bus terminal is 4 kilometers away. Guests can reach the public beach in about 100 meters, positioned on the third shoreline. Nearby landmarks include the Antalya Toy Museum at 290 meters and the Mediterranean Civilizations Museum at 318 meters. The area offers access to the marina and various shops, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance, including the highly rated Cafe Eski Masal Hotel 271 meters away.

Tips

  • Expect to manage air conditioning via reception calls, which may be inconvenient especially at night.
  • Bring earplugs or request a room away from street noise if you are sensitive to sound.

Fantastic location in the old city, and clean rooms. My only complaint was that the breakfast was incredibly basic, and the noise from the street below kept me up most of the night.

Lovely hotel. Rooms are comfortable and bathrooms very good. The outside porch to eat breakfast is very good. My feedback for improvement is the a/c did not work and keeping the windows open with the party goers outside was distracting. Location in the city close to the sea provided super walking opportunities.

The worst hotel by far.. in professional management and poor services. No elevator and the room air condition is controlled by the reception, where u should call the reception every time you want to control the temperature or to close or open the A/C. Rude attitude from the manager when it comes to dealing with guests.

Our family from the UK had a great stay in this hotel. Serkan, Huseyin were very hospitable where they helped us all the time. The disadvantage is that AC is controlled by reception which made it difficult as every time we need temperature adjusting or for it to be turned on and off, we would have to phone reception. We also noticed a times when we’re in the hotel in the afternoon, that they would switch off the AC without informing us. Location was good too, it took us around 15 minutes to get to Attaturk Caddesi where all the shops were there for food and shopping.

Not bad but they or he would turn off the Ac to many times (Antalya is especially hot in the summer). Breakfast is not a thing. The room sizes were good.

Owner / manager is a totally unprofessional guy. My online booking was in Euro. When I checked in, I offered to pay in Turkish Lira. He tried to charge me extra 200 Lira through exorbitant exchange rate. But after 10 minutes of arguments & showing the exchange rate on Google, he agreed to accept the fair exchange rate with a very heavy heart.

There's a very serious problem with room ACs. Neither you can turn it on or off nor can you regulate it's temperature. You need to call the reception for this purpose. I was staying with my small kids & it became very annoying & problematic at night.

Lastly I hired a tour guide for outside services. In my absence, this hotel owner / manager directed him not to come to his hotel again. Consequently, the tour guide didn't come again.

Boring and not cheap for such place, I'd say good if you have no other choice...

The hotel is close to the yachting marina and city center.

This is a nice small hotel centrally located in Antalya old town. Big and nice rooms and extremely helpful hotel personnel.

The room was vintage. Some of the stuff in the room is a bit old like the fridge and the jacuzzi shower pod. No breakfast buffet. Quiet at night, the bed was quite comfortable. I looked at their business card, at the reception “Dimitri Vasiliev, General Manager” That didn’t sound like a Turkish name, I asked, “Is he Russian” “Yes” “but he’s Jewish, right?” I asked. “Yes”. So if you’d like to support local Jewish businesses, this is the right place to stay.

Oh, my God, I really want to give a bad review to this hotel. It's so noisy at night. It's not soundproof. It's not quiet outside until three o'clock in the morning. It's on the roadside. There is a hard and thin blanket on the bed. The smell of wood in the room is so strong. People who don't sleep well should not live in this room

Excellent boutique hotel. Service was impeccable and the breakfast spread was well done. The only challenge for us was that the AC was off ahead of our arrival in our room. This meant that it took 24 hours before it got comfortably cool enough in the room for us to sleep. Additionally the internet TV was not connected to the internet so we could not access content. These small details do not detract from an otherwise excellent stay.

It was a quiet and peaceful holiday in the old city of Antalya, close to entertainment centers. A concept that was not crowded was considered for breakfast by the pool. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. It was great in terms of price-performance evaluation.

A particularly charming boutique hotel located in the old city of Antalya. We were 4 people and stayed in the Ottoman room; An extremely luxurious room, 90 meters including 2 bedrooms, a living room, an extremely large bathroom with two sinks and a huge jacuzzi. The breakfast is excellent and full of good things. The staff is professional, welcoming, helpful and extremely kind. Always taking care of the well-being of the guests!!! The hotel is clean, the atmosphere is pleasant and it is located in an excellent location; Only 15 minutes from the marina and within walking distance of all shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars. An excellent hotel, and an attractive price - I highly recommend it!!!
The pool is small, not suitable for those who want to spend a day in the pool, but more for rest and relaxation. It's important to know that all the hotels in the old city are located between entertainment venues, so it's not particularly quiet at night, but we travel all day and come back tired, so it didn't disturb our sleep :)

Fantastic ambience and location, excellent service and a friendly owner. The breakfast spread that they lay out is the stuff of legend.
11.09.2020 Abeel
The rooms are clean and spacious. The Staff are attentive and because it is a small hotel they really make you feel welcome. Lovely to stay in the Old Town. Great area to walk around in. The old bazaar is within a 5 minute walk and the main shopping areas within 10 to 15 minutes walk. There are a lot of historical sites to see with the coast on your doorstep. I would 100% stay here again.

Location was perfect if you want a peaceful night of sleep in the old town and also want to be close to the sights you want to see in the day. We initially had a room close to the center of the town which is where the beer garden / pubs where. Convenient but was impossible to sleep. We moved to Eski Masal thankfully, the rooms are spacious, we took the Anatolian suite which is on the second floor. Feels like a cultural experience so no complaints about decor which is kept to a minimum in the room. Toilets were amazing, equipped with a modern shower with massage features and there’s also a huge jacuzzi. Only issue were the towels have a bad smell as perhaps the room has not been used in a while ? Minor problem as everything else is good. Breakfast was a good selection given the exclusivity of the hotel meant there would not be many guests (5 suites max?) at one point. Nice pool too. Receptionist was helpful as offered to cook scrambled eggs on the side as the buffet spread was mainly cold. Would recommend to anyone who isn’t looking for a crazy night out in Antalya and wants a peaceful evening uninterrupted by the loudness of the streets should you find yourself staying near pubs and restaurants which is an 80% chance.
