CİHANGİR KONAĞI BUTİK Otel in Sanliurfa

An old mansion house with courtyard in a superb, quiet location near Balikligol and public transport. It is an easy walk through the park to the archaeological museum and 01 bus to Gobeklitepe. An excellent breakfast (not buffet) was served by very pleasant breakfast staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Rooftop terrace was very peaceful in the evening, cay was provided. Bathroom was fine. No WiFi in rooms just in reception and on terrace. No kettle, tea available only at breakfast/in evening. Toilet bin not emptied whole stay. Fridge not working, reception spoke no English and were not interested.

A very beautiful and historical looking building in a location that is exactly opposite to the main attraction of Sanliurfa - the Abraham's pool. In an alleyway which also gives a very historical vibe! Well, the building is atleast 100 years old, so it is genuinely historical. Room amenities are alright. Bathroom is really really small, but clean and functional. It has a nice terrace to sit, relax and have some tea. The breakfast was GRAND. Everything tasted sooo delicious!! It was actually the highlight of our one night stay!! The hotel staff were very welcoming. (FYI- Vehicles do not enter the street. There is a car park nearby where you have to park the car and a guy from hotel comes to take the luggage. Just 2 or 3 minutes walk to the hotel)

I would like to thank the hotel staff for their interest and attention. The hotel deserves 5 stars with its beautiful, clean and friendly staff.

The hotel is an old stone mansion. Its architecture truly reflects the region. It is a great opportunity to say "I stayed in Urfa". Its courtyard, room doors opening to the courtyard, and the narrow street right in front of it immediately impress you. There was nothing missing in the room. Air conditioning, TV, hot water without any problems. The staff was very attentive. Balıklı lake is 4 minutes by foot. It has a large terrace. Tea and coffee are served unlimited in the evening. There is a closed parking lot in the place that everyone describes as a tunnel (on the main street in front of Balıklı lake). You need to go there with your car first. The street where the hotel is located is historical and very narrow. Do not try to enter there with your car. You get a ticket for the parking lot when you leave the hotel. The breakfast is far beyond the classic hotel breakfasts. It has nothing missing from watermelon to eggs with tomato paste. If you look, you will definitely find something missing, but if you are going to Urfa not to use the hotel's facilities but to experience Urfa, this hotel is more than enough for you...

We went as a family and the room we were given was very nice. The mansion was nice. The room was clean and the bathroom was new. The breakfast was good compared to hotel breakfasts. If I come to Urfa again, this is definitely where I will stay. They also have indoor parking lots and it is a 2-minute walk to Balıklıgöl.

The welcome and attention was nice.

Wife is not available and air conditioning is insufficient. Other than that, you can stay with your family comfortably.

Urfa Trip
The hotel is located a few minutes walking distance from Balıklı Göl and Bakırcılar Bazaar. Our hotel rooms were clean and very comfortable. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful in every way. I definitely recommend you to join the Urfa Sıra Gecesi that İbrahim Bey suggested. It is definitely a place we will stay again on our next visit to Urfa.

My family and I have had a wonderful experience in the Manici hotel. The staff of the hotel has made our stay there magical. Also the hotel staff was very kind, helpful and friendly. Just to mention Mustafa and Abdulah at the front desk, Ibrahim service in restaurant and Mahmut that was incharge for breakfast. I would specialy mention Mahmut because I have never seen anybody so concern about the guests during the meals in restaurant. Mahmut was always first in the kitchen and always making sure that the guests of hotel have everything they need.

As for the hotel manager, Mr. Sahin Yazgan, I do not know how to thank him for everything. I have spend 17 years working in hotels in USA, and I have never seen a manager who is so involved in hotel operations. His relations and communications with a guests and with employees of the hotel are superb. Sahin Yazgan is a great asset to the Manici hotel management. Thank you, and thank you and I hope that we will have an opportunity to visit your hotel agin.
