I have been to Senator Maidan before the visit to Senator Victory Square and it is very good in a matter of price. The rooms are modern and spacious, simultaneously are pretty cheap. This makes the hotel one of the best places accommodation for a tight- budget tourists.

During my stay in Senator Victory Square during the whole of July 2021 I found several details that made my stay very enjoyable and comfortable. First of all, the location is really good. The pharmacy is basically across the street, there is a food store which is 2 minutes of walking distance, and I was even able to walk to the center of the city from the hotel. Below the lobby there also is a restaurant, which is a good place to go when you don’t feel like cooking. The room itself is very tidy and had everything I needed. Another thing is that the staff is very responsive. Multiple times I had to ask them favors to help me with certain things that I am not familiar with and they would immediately solve my issues. Overall, a wonderful hotel and I definitely recommend it.

Senator Victory Square is really pretty place, I like the staff and the comfort. Recommend everyone to visit. The design of the hotel suitable for any taste. The location is good, quite easy to reach any important city places.

I've been visiting Senator Victory Square throught some summer days of 2021 and I can say without any doubts that I recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit the great capital of Ukraine. If you go as a tourist, the friendly staff on reception will help you with any information about local attractions and historical objects. Or if you have a business trip, you will be also amazed with a wide range of services Senator hotel provides in order to satisfy your needs. Also historical and business center is quite close to the hotel, you won't even need a taxi to get there. A great place to stay in! Would have a real pleasure to visit it someday when I come back to Kyiv.

I like this place. The room was small but cozy and it was well kept.
I like the fact that the tub was at least a foot deeper than most tubs in the US, so you could relax and take a proper bath submerged.
The bathroom came with radiant heating/ warmed floors that was adjustable by thermostat. Once the thermostat was set, it was hard for me to not lay on the floor like a lizard on a hot rock. The only other places that had radiant heating was when I was in Colorado. That sealed the deal for me as it was a wonderful addition.
There was also a heated drying rack which was useful, given the weather outside was rainy and it let you dry your clothes quickly. Very nice.
The hotel staff were kind and they even went out of their way to wish me happy birthday, which was a nice touch.
All in all, this is a nice establishment and I would come here again and I definitely recommend it.

Very comfortable, extremely clean with the most friendly and helpful staff. I will stay here again and recommend it to friends and family. Thank you Senator Victory Square!

Let me begging with the fact that the receptionist Victoria is an extremely rude person that treated me unprofessionally and responded with a lot of sarcasm. The hotel is in a questionable area with homeless people around , I did not feel safe. The other thing you will not be able to rest because is it is a LOT of noise , construction , and road noise and even building shake is caused by the tram that passes right in front of the hotel. Next major, major thing is that when you make a reservation it is stated that the rooms accommodate 3 guests, and that’s how many we were, and guess what it DOES NOT and they did not do anything about it. Our guest had to sleep on the floor because there was no other option. When we addressed this matter, all we received as response is use the couch that is twice smaller the the guest, clearly nobody cares.
Next thing is the breakfast, starts late but besides that had a hair in the food , other time waited almost an hour for some basic scrambled eggs. I would never recommend this hotel. Choose your place more wisely and don’t stay here

+ Very clean and safe. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable.
- It was miles away from the nearest metro station, railway station and the centre of the city. The area around the hotel was not the best, no pavements in places, not very easy to walk to and from the hotel, it was a bit of a war zone in places. I would not class this as a business area!! The metro station is about twenty minutes walk, the railway station about half an hour, the city centre an hours walk away, up and down some very steep hills. The only local attraction is the state circus building which is near the metro station. The breakfast menu was different to anything I had previously experienced in other hotels around the world. The location of the dining area was in the basement of a night club restaurant which joined the hotel via a basement passage way, or the main street. The dining area was painted in dark green with brown ceilings, I could add more..... The hotel apartments were of great quality but in the wrong location for tourists.

We have had a great week here. The staff are top notch, all speak English and are very helpful. Every little thing is thought of in the room. We chose to stay here on a business trip because it was close to the office, we were in no way disappointed. If you are looking for a great place to stay in this area, the Senator is it.
