Since quite some time ago back at the Holoday inn Express. As usual for the Holiday Inn Express you know what you get. Location is very close to Trafford Centre Mall. Improvement would be EV charging possibility on site. Next door are fast chargers, not sure if the parking of the restaurant closes

The location is amazing, right in the centre of Manchester. The hotel looks great from the outside, the lobby is very grand. It has a great bar - Rogue bar. However, our room was not very clean. There was hair on the floor. The bathroom was not nice at all. The shower floor was dirty, and it had not had a deep clean. The service in the hotel was okay, nothing extraordinary. The hotel has a great location and is very clean, but the soundproofing is terrible, the room layout is uncomfortable, and the pillows are extremely hard, making it difficult to fall asleep.

The room we got was larger than what we booked, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the breakfast selection was a bit limited, and the hotel itself feels quite old. It even took me a while to figure out how to turn on the shower.

Amazing! Nothing much to say. Clean rooms, lovely breakfast. Beds could be better though as mine was very springy, noisy and uncomfortable when moving in bed.

I found my stay to be excellent value for money and staff were quick to respond considering the volume of incoming visitors as we all seem to arive at same time... Rooms - Dusty as hell. Everything else was quite clean minus the walls, was able to finger swipe a print onto the wall because it was so dusty. Service - Lovely, quiet staff but did they jobs. Location - Very central, easy to access central train stations and bus lines. Near restaurants and hip areas to explore during the day!

Overall was a decent stay. Walking distance to main universities in Manchester like MMU and UOM. Also walking distance to main train and tram station ( Piccadilly Station). Have many restaurants nearby.

The location is excellent and the staff are polite and all respectful . The only thing that made my stay unconfortable is the next door guest who keep bouncing on the wall like playing a ball. Also the toilet tissues are empty on the second day and the coffee and sugar were empty and didnt change my cups as well. Aside from that, its great!

as always, really helpful staff throughout. Despite a continued aweful smell in the corridors, the rooms are perfectly clean and pleasant with no smell. Issue this visit was despite having a do not disturb notice on my door, room service still knocked on which was dosturbing.

This hotel is pretty average. The location isn't too far from Oxford Road Station, about a 10-minute walk. The main issue for me was that I was there to watch a football match and couldn't check in early; check-in was only after 3 PM. This really put it behind other hotels, where you can usually check in as soon as you arrive! The room environment was also just okay. There were no tissues provided...

The hotel's location is excellent, close to two train stations and Manchester University, as well as nearby attractions like the Museum of Science and Industry, which you can reach by free bus. The room size was good, and it was very quiet, with a hairdryer provided. The hot water was great, and the self-service breakfast had plenty of options. I was very satisfied with my stay, as it was close to the city center, included breakfast, and was very affordable. My flight was cancelled, so I had to book last minute, but the hotel was incredibly helpful. They let me store my luggage before check-in, I ordered room service for dinner, and they even accommodated my request to extend my stay.

The facilities, hygiene, environment, and transportation are all good. The male staff at the front desk was also very nice. However, the female cleaning staff had a terrible attitude.

Staff went above and beyond expectations in customer service and making our christmas experience a positive one. We really enjoyed our stay all the staff were welcoming, we ate in restaurant and food was very good value, and despite the bank holiday they happily prepared meals and drinks we requested and wished us well on our departure.

Although we booked a family room, it felt too small for the four of us (two adults and two children). The location is quite convenient, situated around the bay area. It was pleasant to walk around at sunset, and there were several good restaurants to choose from nearby. Breakfast was simple but acceptable.

I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Pendulum Hotel. The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful, and my room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The location is excellent for getting around Manchester, and the neighbourhood where the hotel is has a calm, welcoming atmosphere. I’d happily stay again and would certainly recommend it to others.

Had an exceptional stay at this hotel! The entire place was spotless and immaculately maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Room had bad odour like closed space, on counter there was Asian Indian or Pakistani employee was bit rude nature and looked like barbarian or coming straight from cave, no manners at all. Cleaning was fair enough but room has odour bad and which irritates.

No intercom was available which was very disappointing and disturbing. Bathroom sink was too small to wash baby bottles. Carpet looks like old. However, the location was great.

Very good experience in Novotel. The counter staff was very nice. We arrived early to put down our luggage first. But she checked there was one room ready and arranged us check in immediately. Hotel room is big and clean. Corridor is long and looks like old years but inside room is quite new and comfortable. Definitely will recommend to others.

This hotel is a little dated but a nice enough stay for central Manchester and surrounding areas. The breakfast is good and staff pleasant. The outside areas are a little tatty with a lot of cig ends thrown on the floor. Hotels charging for parking on site is a major irritant. We had two cars overnight and the charge was £14.

The beds are awful, the mattresses sink all the way to the Earth's core. I have a slipped disc and when I woke up the next day, I wanted to die from sciatica pain because of this terrible mattress. They never cleaned the shower during our stay. The place is okay, but a little cleaning now and then wouldn't hurt. Thanks.

It’s clean and tidy. Very friendly staff and convenient location. Love the storages the most, don’t have to worry my belongings safety when I’m out. Just remember to bring your own locks. All is perfect for short stay. Will stay here again if I’m coming to Manchester next time.

Despite the room being dated, the property is gorgeous. Rooms are large; my room included a fan, electric heater and breakfast to go. They have a gluten free breakfast option, which was perfect. We were even able to get it for a 4am checkout.

Great location as right in the center and great value for money compared to the main chain hotels. Would certainly recommend it if your on a budget. The bar area is excellent with great staff and they serve food most days plus breakfast on Saturday/Sundays from 9am which is excellent. This pub and the B&B has recently been refurbished. It's considered a budget city centre accommodation. It's much better than budget in my opinion! The pub is lovely and the food is amazing! All homemade! The staff are friendly and the welcoming. Will defo go back.
