Speaking of relaxing – the spa was absolutely divine. Clean, calming, and wonderfully designed, it was the perfect escape. The massage was one of the best I’ve ever had – incredibly soothing and tailored to perfection
Lovely hotel and staff are amazing. Have stayed here before and would do again. Only negative is room 445 the air con was not effective at all and room was very hot. Workers up in the night s we were warm.
The noise from the tram it is horrible and through the night as windows are not soundproof. In our room the heating was out of order and oil filled radiators were put up instead
There was no options for apps such as youtube or netflix and kids have to entertain themselves on their tablet. Swimming pool is the size of a private one in a residential home
no parking at this establishment and no dropping off available at times as their maintenance and delivery vans might take up the small space cut into the front pavement
We had a fabulous stay at The Midland. It had a luxurious feel straight from the lobby with flavoured water, diffusers and welcoming staff. Our room was beautiful and we had complimentary turn down each day

The food selection at breakfast was superb. All the staff were lovely and helpful, especially at breakfast. The swimming pool was always clean and tidy, nothing broken or dirty
Only thing that could have made our stay better was if the pool were open longer
Rooms & Comfort My room was on one of the higher floors, offering truly stunning views of the Manchester skyline through floor-to-ceiling windows — easily one of the standout features of this hotel
Good hotel. Smooth check-in and check-out. Complete amenities.
The Breakfast was Amazing, very happy with the cleanest of the hotel, swimming pool and jacuzzi was nice, the bed was comfortable, we had our dinner at the restaurant was amazing too.I really enjoyed our time there
Very nice hotel with great views , has a nice swimming pool and hot tub with saunas as well , even has a 24/7 gym !! Great for couples

We had a wonderful sty at the Crowne Plaza. All staff made us feel us so welcome. They were so helpful and friendly. The rooms was spacious and lovely and even had a bath! Very happy and will return.
Very close to Mackie Mayor food hall. Close to Shudehill metro station. Very friendly service. Nice clean large rooms with bathtub. Good prices. Excellent view out the window as the photo shows.
The location is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Amenities are satisfactory. The room is not very spacious but good enough. Would be back again if the quality can be kept.
The room was big enough for our family 2 adult & 2 kids Location was good as just next to the shopping mall and national football museum Staff was helpful and friendly.
Fantastic and will never change this hotel. Staff very friendly and ready to help. The woman in charge at breakfast was really nice. A young capable lady.
A great hotel with everything we needed for our stay, friendly staff and helpful. Very clean room with all amenities within 10 minutes walk

Beyond this experience the room was spacious and well equipped. The food from the Gino Di Campo restaurant was lovely, well presented and supported with fantastic hospitality from the staff
Ok hotel but expensive for what you get. The bed was very comfortable
We did not receive a bathrobe or slippers as advertised, and the open plan bathroom layout is just a terrible idea resulting in little to no privacy, and the towels were also quite hard and scratchy
We stay here frequently and find its location great. He recognised us as regular guests and it makes SUCH a difference and makes you feel valued. The staff have always been pleasant but don’t really make us feel valued
We arrived to a friendly front desk and super quick check-in process. Our room was spacious and very comfortable for our 1 night stay, with complimentary drinks in the fridge. Would definitely stay here again!
Igor is interested in you without being patronising or intrusive. He’s a great asset to your organisation. In spirit of constructive feedback……. we find the pillows very thin and mattresses somewhat hard

Not an issue for me but some people like to have a bathrobe which at least in my room there wasn't one
Lovely boutique type atmosphere in the heart of Manchester. In a gorgeous setting on the riverside.
The hotel is usually very good we attend often
Stayed many times. Cant go wrong with The Marriot really can you. In my opinion. Love it
“I had a wonderful stay at the Marriott. The hotel is exceptionally clean, elegant, and very well maintained. The service was outstanding, with professional and friendly staff always ready to help
The loft bedroom can be dim due to only bedside lamps, would suggest standing uplights to highlight the pitched roof. Otherwise, good location, easily walkable to main shopping area, Deansgate etc.

We were especially pleased with how nice the pool and gym were. The only thing that let the hotel down is that the dining room is only open on a weekday, which meant we had to have breakfast in our room
It’s not 5 star… Probably a hard review to write, if it had a title it would be “imbalanced” Food and drink were excellent and service staff in both areas were on point  Front of desk were a mixed bag but again majority were on point, had 2 rooms(1 an upgrade) both had tired woodwork and fittings that fell apart and a mini bar (empty) with the fascia falling off You pay 5 star prices and don’t get...
We booked this hotel specifically for the spa, and loved the big pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Only thing was we didn’t realised you had to book early to get a slot to go to the spa, and it can get crowded in the evening
Nice location, bed too soft , staff not attentive at check in , nice free bottle of water and nespresso.
The all-inclusive room service breakfast was amazing. Spa facilities were incredibly clean with very comfortable beds. Rooms were well stocked with extras and housekeeping replenished such
Terrible housekeeping. The bed sheets and room were clearly not cleaned, and no towels were replaced. The bath towel had unpleasant smell.

My favourite things: the gazillions of plugs and the full length mirror. As usual, bring your own summer duvet if you're a cool sleeper and your battery tea light candles for a cosier bath tub experience
Got an upgraded room because I was guest of the day and it was fantastic! Really recommend the hotel as a place to stay. The room was great and the staff were polite and friendly!
This was my third time in The Alan so they must be doing something right 😄 Was guest at Room 403 this time which was the handiest room to get to/from the elevator
Very spacious room with a bit of lounge area, free digestive biscuits, fresh water bottle and compact bath tub (yes, yes, yes!) which is perfect for short people. Window is a little high in this one and no floofy rug
The hotel is gorgeous, neutral but stylish decor and it also smells amazing! We stayed for a birthday occasion and got a free room upgrade due to this ! We also ended up adding on and staying an extra night
Breakfast was really nice with a good selection, and the location was great being so close to all the City shops. I would consider staying here again

I eat/drink & watch football here quite a lot these days. It's a fantastic venue. Food is top quality and service is fantastic. Staff very friendly. And what a view of Old Trafford just outside. Love it.
Had an amazing stay at Hotel Football 🏟️ The location is unbeatable if you’re a football fan — literally overlooking Old Trafford with incredible views from the room
The whole place has a really cool, modern sports vibe without feeling gimmicky. Room was clean, comfortable, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Perfect mix of convenience and character
As a Manchester United supporter for 24 years, staying here was a true pilgrimage. Imagine waking up and falling asleep with the Theatre of Dreams right outside your window—it was surreal
I had the chance to kick a ball around with a father and son there. Playing football with a direct view of Old Trafford was a "pinch-me" moment. Special thanks to Yan at the front desk
You can see the stadium's main entrance right outside the window. The toiletries even have jersey numbers on them, and they let us keep the room card as a souvenir in the end

Lovely clean hotel friendly helpful staff nice breakfast good sized clean room the only negative is the toilet (separate from the bathroom ) small enclosed space painted dark grey felt very claustrophobic but that just my view
The room is clean , tidy and wonderful
No intercom was available which was very disappointing and disturbing. Bathroom sink was too small to wash baby bottles. Carpet looks like old. However, the location was great.
Good location and service. Price is reasonable. Hygine is good.
Good location near all transit. Hotel is clean with good service at counter. Walking distance to all major locations.
It is located at the prime location.

Great location, reasonable price, good breakfast. We’ll be back. Perfect for FUMO.
Cleaning staff - now what are they doing? Because they certainly aren't cleaning the rooms, the room was the dirtiest room I've ever stayed in, windows, bed, bathroom, carpets, i know its a budget hotel but basic levels of hygiene and cleaniness should be a must in a hotel, ive stayed in cheaper hotels and they were cleaner! Needs a refurb in the rooms and big recruitment drive for cleaning staff
Me and my partner had to make the bed before sleeping because we couldn't stomach sleeping on it because of how it was. Area is very loud, traffic, horns beeping, people shouting
On a positive note I did like the shower in the bathroom, the water pressure was excellent and it is in a brilliant location attending gigs and festivals in the area
A cozy place in the metropolitan and universities surrounding area, close to Manchester Oxford Street and small shops around there too. Easy assess to go into the city center by train and buses
So no issues with the staff down at the reception area at all, doing a smashing job representing the hotel, telling us about the app too upon arrival

I did not expect more than a bed to sleep close to the center of Manchester for the price I paid for the stay and they offered so much more with the friendliness and professionalism  of the frontdesk service staff, the varied breakfast and comfortable bed
I stayed in double room - compact. The room is very clean and it is also super huge which is beyond my expectation. I want to give more than 5 stars for this hotel because I was very satisfied with the room and service
I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Pendulum Hotel. The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful, and my room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet
The hotel is however a bit outdated and I missed a usb plug in the room for charging mobile as I am a European traveller and the plug is different. Luckily front desk helped me with an adapter for the night
Option of breakfast (we didn't take this) and the hotel features a decent bar by the looks of it. Sub 10mins walk from train stations and on the edge of the city centre proper makes for a great location
The location is excellent for getting around Manchester, and the neighbourhood where the hotel is has a calm, welcoming atmosphere. I’d happily stay again and would certainly recommend it to others

The biggest positive is location it's not too far from the city center. The bed was very comfortable and rooms were well kept. The staff were very helpful we even got a call on the day we were checking out as a reminder.
Great night away. We stayed to go to the Aviva studios. It was a good location for us. We had a great service, all staff smiley and helpful. Breakfast was really good. Options for everyone.
I recently stayed at this hotel and was very impressed. The rooms and common areas were exceptionally clean, making the stay very comfortable. The staff were polite, professional, and always ready to help with a smile
Their good attitude really made a difference in the overall experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and well maintained place to stay
The hotel is conveniently located on the first floor, which means we need an elevator to access it. Upon entering, I immediately noticed how clean and tidy the space is, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere
Perfect location, took less than 10 minutes via taxi to the city centre and had a great selection for breakfast

Comfy tho, till awoken at 2:30 by neighbours TV!! Glad I had my ear plugs. Breakfast was ok, good sausages, bacon but eggs, well they would bounce if dropped!! Lol. So, all in all, good value for money and a nice stay
The hotel is definitely a game of two halves. The reception, bar and dining room are very nicely decorated and very clean and tidy. The accommodation area, that we were in, was in dire need of updating
Having a two night stay we expected the room to be cleaned on the second day and requested that however when we arrived back late afternoon no one had been into it to carry out any thing at all
Our room, 65, was clean but tatty. Marks on all the walls, threads on edge of carpet that were at least six inches long and the bathroom should be ripped out and replaced
We found that the walls were very thin and noise was heard from all directions
Room and bathroom was big and spacious with table and chairs

The room was cosy and bed was comfortable however we were in a room with a door that led to another, the host did show us the room and informed us about this however we were able to hear the people staying next door quite easily due to this as it sounds like their bathroom was the other side of the door/wall
Absolutely loved staying at this hotel. It’s so homely and I love the decor, layout and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious.
Lovely little hotel, excellent value and ideal location for getting the tram into Manchester. Would definitely stay again.
Confused information re breakfast and check out time. Pre arrival info said basic breakfast included and checkout time of 11am. On arrival breakfast not included and told checkout 10am. Then in room info said check out10
Parking is available however it can be difficult to find an actual space if arriving late. Nonetheless the stay was good and was definitely budget friendly, would recommend
Quick stay over Friendly, quick one night stay. No breakfast required so couldn't comment on that. Plenty of hot water and all facilities in room.

Excellent location within easy walking distance to most city centre sights, restaurants, museums etc. Well stocked breakfast buffet in sister hotel next door though I think food also served on site
Front desk was very polite and friendly when checking in
Nicole welcomed us at the reception desk and she was super friendly, helpful and polite! She told us whatever we needed to know and managed to provide early check-in after a quick registration
Very central location next to Chinatown of Manchester, less than 20 minutes walk from Manchester Piccadilly train station so very convenient. Not much amenities but room is basic and clean
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a young and pleasant design both in the lobby and in the rooms. Breakfast is varied and tasty. Ibis Portland — I was pleasantly surprised
The location was great, room was very clean, comfortable and the pod ensuite bathroom provided a great shower and good facilities. Staff were all very friendly and efficient

This was my second time staying here and I couldn’t recommend it enough! £18 a night for parking but that’s standard for around this area and it’s a secure car park, great rooms, nice and spacious, great pool and gym, breakfast is fantastic, all the staff are lovely and helpful especially Denim
Litrally booked this 2wks before visiting i thought the price for what you got was amazing - Lovely hotel couldnt fault anything rooms nice overlooking canal - staff very friendly and chatty at bar and reception special mention for Denim was a credit to the hotel welcoming at reception had a chat and gave us direction to venue we was seeing robbie williams at and nothing was too much effort breakfast...
The room was clean and contained everything you would need including tea, coffee, biscuits, iron and ironing board and hairdryer. It is clearly a hotel that has been there many years but it seemed very well looked after
This may not be a 5 star hotel but it definitely offers a 5 star service. From the minute I booked the hotel I was contacted regarding room requests, all replies were answered quickly and professionally
I was then contacted a few days before my stay and again all replies were dealt with and replied to quickly. Check in was quick and efficient and staff were really friendly but professional
Once again Ann and her wonderful team pulled it out of the bag, fantastic accommodation, great food, relaxing atmosphere, brilliant attention to detail and a lication second to none

Our or go to choice every time we visit Manchester. Everywhere is spotlessly clean in this perfectly located apartment and the bed and bedding ensure the best nights sleep. The kitchen is very well equipped
This is a really spacious apartment right in the heart of the trendy Northern Quarter and a short walk to Piccadilly station and the main shopping area
Despite its central location close to bars and restaurants, it’s remarkably quiet and we enjoyed a very comfortable night’s sleep
We would definitely stay again and recommend it to any groups wanting to enjoy a short break in Manchester

Amazing place! Stayed the night before we flew for our holiday, great service when for a drink In the evening friendly bar staff and enjoyable atmosphere, had the breakfast in the morning which was lovely and arrived quickly, we will definitely be returning!
Lovely hidden gem, really central location, good size, modern rooms with very comfy beds. The free breakfast is amazing, so many options freshly made with juices, hot drinks and cereals also available
Lovely room, very quiet considering above a pub! Couldn't hear anything. Staff were lovely, service at breakfast was great and the person serving was lovely and very helpful.

Very, very nice staff and service, clean, USB charger. Warm room with autonomous heater. Parking avaliable and McDonald's restaurant nearby. Not expensive compared to other hotels in Manchester
Lovely, quiet little place. Can't wait to go back
Very basic hotel with no bar or restaurant. But staff were friendly and room was clean and comfy. You get what you expect for the money
