I paid for this room a couple of weeks ago. I came with my sister and niece for an event. After the event, we went to check in. I showed ID, gave my name, showed the email to confirm it was the right one but apparently they couldn't do anything without a confirmation number which they need to get from the 3rd party. I got shifted from 1 colleague to another and none of them could find the booking, despite it all being paid for weeks ago. I had to phone my husband to try and get the confirmation number but although the email was confirmed, they just insisted on the number. All I had was a purchase number but nothing I had was good enough!! We personally had to phone the emergency number for the booking confirmation and after 2 hours of being stood in the lobby and not getting anywhere, we just booked the travel lodge near by instead. Booked 10 mins before arriving and checked in within 2 mins. You need to change your system as I have never had this with any other check-ins. The 3rd company were very good though and did eventually get us a confirmation number but it was too late. I was already wound right up and thats not like me. Not once in those 2 hours in the lobby did they ask how are we getting on or offer any help at all. Didnt even offer another room whilst they sorted us out. I would NOT recommend this hotel at all. Avoid at all costs. It was disgraceful.

Good location room was too hot their was a fan but it didn’t really help much but it was a clean space

The hotel room was very nice, spacious and mostly clean, as for the staff is a different story. A staff member was extremely patronising, so incredibly rude, and kept calling me a child even after he was told I was 18+. I understand needing id for the person who booked the room but wasn’t anywhere on the website that suggested other participants of that room would need any form of id.

Right in the city center of Manchester, close to two train stations. The facilities are a bit old, which is to be expected for an older hotel. The service was pretty good too; I paid a little extra for an upgrade.

Rooms - Dusty as hell. Everything else was quite clean minus the walls, was able to finger swipe a print onto the wall because it was so dusty.
Service - Lovely, quiet staff but did they jobs.
Location - Very central, easy to access central train stations and bus lines. Near restaurants and hip areas to explore during the day!

Actually I never expect for anything with this price but there was no electricity available at around 4:00 a.m.
By the way thanks Trip.com so much for quick response and help.

Don't understand why there are so many negative reviews.

This hotel is definitely value for money. The location is fantastic. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff was pleasant. Not sure what other people are expecting for the price.

Would prefer if they offer cleaning every day. Likes their free luggage area was very amazing.

My mom and I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. The location is perfect, which is actually in the city center. It is close to Victoria train station, Piccadilly station, tram and Piccadilly garden bus station. So you can go everywhere in an easy way.
The room is clean, comfortable, warm and quiet, with hot water and high speed free wifi. The reception staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed quite an amazing journey here.

Was in there yesterday with my sister & nephew we ordered our food & drinks no problem ,we where sat near the kitchen door ,
I think it was table 26
When we finished we decided to have a coffee & my nephew wanted a ice cream ,
I went to the bar 2 girls behind the bar one with light brown hair & another with darker/ black hair, who served me.
I’d been stood there ten minutes & a bloke came up & she served him first ,
I said I’ve been waiting mate,
She said well I don’t know who was first,
I said I wasn’t talking to you I was talking to the bloke who just pushed in ,
However her attitude was awful ,
I then sat down with the coffees ,
Somebody opened the kitchen door &
I heard somebody shout who’s fcuking ordered ice cream ?
To be fare it wasnt the same girl because she was still behind the bar,
The Moral must be low ,if all your staff are the same ,
Not good customer service

Nice place but for the 3rd time running I've ordered the bacon buttie which clearly states 4 rashers of bacon. I received 3 each time. I didn't complain as I ordered from the app. Just hope the chef learns to count...

The prices advertised outside were different than the menu inside. The food was lukewarm and the service was poor. On the plus side the desserts were served quicker and were actually nicer than expected. Wouldn't recommend as there are far nicer and cheaper 'spoons in Manchester

Pretty bad even by wetherspoons standards. Had a 'gourmet' chicken burger from there. I've had burgers from spoons before but never as dry and tough as this one. My girlfriend had a hot dog which again was really poorly cooked. Not sure how you get a hot dog so wrong but they managed it.

Food was disgusting burger freezing cold bacon was full of fat & almost raw will never eat here again. On a positive note the waitress was very apologetic and helpfull

Been here a few times. Karaoke is great with nice rooms and ok service per room. On the bar / club side you have a variety of rooms with different music which I liked. Security can be a little heavy handed when I have been there with really drunk people. I can understand their position but..

It was my first time visting Manchester , I booked a booth which was not a booth more like a bench less classier than a park bench on a rainy day. Also the moment my friends entered the door men was rude was rude and told three of my friends to leave for no reason with aggression. Avoid this club staff are not welcoming/rude and if only you could rate this as half a star to the woman on the phone who politely booked the both for ourselves .
1 star is soo generous not happy at all

A group of 8 pre booked a ‘premium’ booth for Saturday evening at the cost of £300. At the time of booking the platinum package stated we would receive a bottle of vodka and one other spirit of our choice, a private premium booth which unlimited mixers, table services and nibbles.
On our arrival we were told we that we had the booked the last available booth of the evening and it was ‘the best section to have in the venue’.
We were then taken to a corner of the ‘raffles’ room with a pop up table which you would see at a car boot sale, approximately 2.5 meters long, small couch next to a very large speaker booming in to our ears.
We were given the bottle of vodka and other spirit with two small jugs of mixers which only just filled 8 glasses.
Throughout the night our ‘private’ booth was invaded continuously by other party goers, sitting at the table, drinking our alcohol. I spoke to the manager of the floor that evening to which we were told there is nothing he could do for us. It was very frustrating and ruined our evening.
Also something which I am not use to is being offered cocaine every time I visited the toilets, I was not the only person in my group to be offered drugs.
I only gave one star as it was the only way to write a review, google should have the option to give minus stars. I was looking forward to a fantastic evening with my closest friends this was ruined and I will never visit a tiger tiger bar again and would not recommend.

Sort your s**t out!!

Cool night out for international party. £6 per entrance donated to Mexicans victims of hurricane, flags and sombreros once in, good mix of Latin and pop music. And obviously, good choice of alco. Worth to give it a try in general as this place has 3 floors with combination of popular music and 80's.

Went for my daughters hen do. Booked in for 8pm meal. 13 of us were squeezed round a table for 10. 8pm no sign of food or pre paid cocktails. 8.30pm the same. Complained. Manager said it was being done and we would eat in 5 minutes. 8.45 still no food or cocktails. 6 other groups had been in. Fed and watered and gone. Finally the cocktails arrived. Eventually the meals arrived. 13 ordered 12 arrived. Shambolic mess. Couldn't care less management and staff. I left my meal as the sweet potatoes were raw in centre and my chicken in bun was soggy as it sat in a sauce. I'll never go there again.
