Gary has exceptional customer service he is superbly personable and I really enjoyed meeting him. This world needs more Gary's 😃 All the staff were really helpful to be fair, enjoy the biscuits and I hope to return soon. Keep doing what you are doing.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have travelled a lot and I have to say this is the worst hotel I have ever been to. The middle of winter with no heating. Absolutely freezing to the point you could see your breath in the bathroom. We were given a fan heater that sounded like it was going to take off and made it near impossible to sleep. The mattress was disgusting and had springs popping through. We managed to make it through the night as we were exhausted. In the morning we complained again and they advised the engineer was fixing heating and a new mattress was being taken upstairs. This was before 8am. By 12pm we checked out. No apology when I explained we were leaving a day early due to the issues. Phoned *********** straight away. They contacted the hotel, all within 10mins of us leaving, to be told the issues had already been rectified. No they had not. Requested a refund and hotel refused. They are no longer responding to ***********. This hotel needs condemned. Staff were unfriendly. Only thing that was ok was the breakfast. Also had an evening meal the night before which was awful. Steak was dry and far too well done. Curry was from a local takeaway that we seen being delivered then served, 15 mins after the steaks. Disgusting. Please, if you're thinking of booking this s### hole don't. Spend your hard earned cash somewhere else.

I have been very well looked after. Gary and his customer service is top notch and never fails to get a laugh out of you. Sam and his kitchen staff are unbelievably good at what they do I have cleaned my plate every time. Darryl and Natalie at reception have helped answer any queries or questions I’ve had and have been very accommodating. Overall my stay has been perfect with no problems, my room has been spotless since I have arrived and I have had no problem sleeping in the comfy beds.

Cold damp room. They did not turn the heating on at night.
The rom stank of cigarette smoke.

It was freezing, they turned the heating off at night. It was damp, condensation dropped off the bathroom ceiling because it was so cold. Dry clothes hung in the wardrobe were damp in the morning music blaring till 1am. We stayed 6 nights, 2 night the fire alarm went off once at 3am.
The staff were lovely but could not make up for the damp freezing cold rooms and little sleep

Breakfast disappointing- no yolk with egg…rest quite dry and overcooked.

No central heating came on at 6 o'clock after 2complaints wife wore her outside coat all night till bed time. Staff supplied heater that didn't work.took duvet off other bed to double up in bed we were sleeping in. Other guests complained as well.
