Very disappointed! Didn't start off to a great start. We had booked and paid online a superior room with king-size bed but on arrival got given a room with 3 single beds and got told the hotel was fully booked we had no choice but to take it. Receptionist apologised and basically shifted the blame on to housekeeping?? We didn't expect to be moving furniture on our weekend away however we moved the 2 single beds together which later found out was not comfortable at all. We then had to "ASK" if there was anything she could do?as in a discount? as we did pay for a more expensive room! (shouldn't have to ask really, should of been offered) however got offered 2 free starters and a drink each ( pitiful, but better than nothing) However we agreed as we didn't want it to ruin our weekend away! on the plus side the food was superb! Hats off to the chef! And the lovely 2 waiters/bartenders Ewan and Joe! Very nice , attentive genuinely real credit to the hotel which made our stay more enjoyable! A big heartfelt thank you to you both.🙂. advice to other travellers please be careful when booking online!

TERRIBLE Had 4 rooms booked as attending a wedding. Arrived on the day of the wedding to be told hotel was closed. We were left stranded as we had no where to get ready.

This hotel is closed but did not tell us albeit we had a booking of three rooms for two nights and only found out today, the booking was for 26-28 August and it was only an email with the wrong information that alerted us to phone. The staff have been given notice but the guests due to arrive have not been notified.

Horrible expérience I have paid full fare, and got tiny room with single person bed. Furthermore breakfast was à shame. Indeed i went there, and breakfast room was overcrowded with a bus of very noisy and rude tourists. To the extent that I could not find a table where to seat. Empty and set , which rude people claimed to be there booked by tour operator!!! Therefore after 10 minutes useless trial, i gave my plate to one of these rude people, and left hôtel. Hotel staff were totally unable to arrange anything. One of my worst expérience over the last 25 years. Pity for your hôtel. Make sure individual gestion not to suffer same aventure. We do not deserve such. Rgds P bugault

Stayed in hotel with friends for a concert at nearby park, rooms were immaculate, beds really comfy. Breakfast was buffet & very enjoyable. Staff very friendly, chatty & helpful especially Sophie & Courtney, at breakfast, Sam & Julie at reception & Willie when I needed tv fixed, will definitely be back

I would not recommend this hotel! Check-in was unbearably slow with only one person on reception whose customer service skills where dire. First room (4) was dirty, cobwebs above the bed, stain curtains, dirty shower! i complained and the guy on reception was shocked to say the least, then gave me another room (114) which was still occupied! Again completely shocked as his computer system told him it was clean!!! Third room (223) was adequate, mattresses in all rooms were dire, could feel every spring, i actually ended up sleeping on the duvet from the single bed underneath! The bedding is cheap and flimsy pillows, from George at Asda! The third room still has stained curtains and stains on the carpet but for 2 nights I made do. Restaurant was not great either, had mega on the first night in the restaurant and was given a basic limited menu, with 3 starters, 4 mains, 2 of which had ran out! My order was forgotten about, enquired where my email was after 55 min wait, no apology. All in all not a good experience and would not recommend.

Fantastic customer service from Courtney at the reception couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Room was held to a very high standard and definetly met the expectations, will one hundred percent be booking again.

Great location, comfy beds and lovely staff. Sophie was exceptionally helpful at breakfast! She made sure all our needs were met and always had a smile on her face. Breakfast food was lovely. Definitely book again

My son and I have spent 4 nights at the GoGlasgow as a close base for us to attend the Rangers game with Hamburg. Having travelled 4 hours by train from Liverpool we had a concerning start to our stay when the member of the reception team was unable to find our booking, but we got there in the end. If I was purely rating the hotel, I would give it 3 out of 5 for facilities, however as a base location which is only 5 minutes from Ibrox Stadium it is PERFECT for us in that respect, however I am rating the overall experience, which I will give 5 out of 5, which is for one reason only - Jeff!!! I observed Jeff for the 4 nights we were there and he was an absolute whirlwind ; he was EVERYWHERE - assisting guests on reception, seeing to guests requests, and serving at the bar - usually for my son and myself…🙂 Jeff was super helpful to all guest I heard him interact with - it is clear it is important to him the guests have the best possible experience. Added to that he is extremely welcoming and friendly - we had some right good chats over the 4 nights, when he had a moment to pause for breath! Thanks Jeff!!! Luke and I will hopefully see you again next time we are able to get tickets for a Rangers game. All the best!!! Derek

We stayed at GoGlasgow Urban Hotel from the 6th to 9th July 23. When we turned up at the hotel we had a nice welcome by reception. She was really welcoming. We turned up half hour earlier than we said which was fine as our room was ready. We entered our room n was like it's OK. We noticed you hang your clothes over the kettle and cups which is weird, some of the hangers weren't the best with clothes falling off them. My partner noticed stains on the floor at the bottom and sides of the bed. Looked like sick or dog pee that had been left. She also noticed stains on the wall and bed. That first night when we go back to the hotel I went to put the TV on to which we found this also didn't work. We told reception the next day, which they said thanks for letting us know we'll get that sorted. They may do bit the 3 nights we were there they didn't sort it at all. The mattress was one of the worse we've ever slept on. We had two beds in our room. The double was dreadful so uncomfortable. I tried the single bed which was better but still not the best. Definitely need replacing. The bathroom was nice and clean which was nice though. We had breakfast in with our deal. The breakfast was fine what you would expect from a hotel breakfast. A couple of not so great things about the dinning were, the glasses weren't the cleanest. Looked like they hadn't cleaned the dishwasher properly so was leaving stains on the glasses or they were being put in with pots that hadn't been washed down before hand. Also the first morning there was gone off milk out for your tea or coffee. Just horrible. The last night my partner went down as we had no toilet roll left which she was told I don't know where they're kept so you can have this. Which was like a cheap roll of paper with paint or blood on it. Hoping it was paint. I wouldn't stay here again and wouldn't advise anyone else to until, they Improved a lot. Around the hotel is a little run down but very quiet which is nice. Easy to get to two of the Subways with only a 8 /9 minutes walk to ever which was great.

We had a lovely meal in this restaurant... we were treated like royalty from the minute we walked in till we left.. the 2 gents that served us (sorry I never got ur names) are an asset to this establishment and should be proud of themselves, as are the chefs as they were very busy between sit in's and take aways... we had chicken pakora to start followed by rogan josh and tikka masala, both meals were awesome and plenty of it.. I asked for ice with my wine as that is how I like it and every time I ran out they came back with more without even asking.. we will most certainly be back to eat here and would highly recommend it.. I don't understand how anyone could say anything bad about this place..

A warm welcome and great service for the waiters. The chicken tikka was excellent, tender and chargrilled the way i like it. Both me and my partner really enjoyed our dinner date, good food, great service and a nice, warm ambient atmosphere to the decor. Its hard to come by a good indian restaurant these days with quality food and service. I will definitely be making this my regular place to go.

The food was warm when it arrived, that's a great start as I've had cold food from other takeaways. Quality of the prawn starter was incredible! Really enjoyed the rest of the meal which was a minced lamb dish and a chicken jaipuri. Proper garlic on the nan bread also ? Will use this takeaway again.
