This hotel was absolutely disgusting and I feel obligated to warn others to stay far away. From the moment I walked in, the doors were filthy and there was a horrible, nauseating smell throughout the room. The room itself was dirty beyond belief, the bed sheets were disgusting with visible blood stains and hairs, and to make it even worse, there were bed bugs in the bed. Nothing about this place felt clean or safe, and sleeping there was impossible. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I strongly advise anyone considering staying here to save themselves the trouble and book literally anywhere Else. this wouldn’t let me put pictures but honestly I have proof pictures and videos there was also socks and woman’s underwear that wasn’t mines down behind the radiator PLEASE DONT GO HERE! staff’s behaviour was disgraceful the manager was yelling at me for asking for fresh sheets honestly worst customer service worst hotel don’t go! I will try send pictures separately

This is mainly used for refugees homeless people which means some may have issues. If you are an actual paying customer pick something else and do your research but it's not the sort of hotel you will want to be paying cash to stay at.

Shocking customer service. We booked an older man into the hotel, who has very poor mobility, called to asked if they would assist him getting his bags out of the taxi, since the road outside the hotel is closed, the taxi was dropping him just around the corner, a few feet from the door. Reception said they would not help with his luggage, even after explaining how ill this man was. Horrifying.

Stayed for 3 nights with friends. Room was spacious, clean, warm,towels changed every day. Breakfast was included which was of good standard plenty of choice and variety. The hotel was centrally located and close to railway and restaurants and shops etc.

The experience at this hotel was incredibly disappointing. The rooms were filthy, with dirt and grime everywhere, which made it clear that they weren't properly cleaned. To make matters worse, I found bugs lurking under the carpets, which is absolutely unacceptable for any establishment. The overall lack of cleanliness and hygiene made my stay uncomfortable and uninviting. The staff didn’t welcome anyone and their racist behavior was shocking, making the atmosphere even more hostile. It was hard to relax knowing that the environment was so neglected and the service so unwelcoming. For anyone considering this hotel, I would strongly advise against it, as the poor conditions and disrespectful staff made it a truly unpleasant experience.

You get what you pay for and sometimes paying more is worth it. Just back from a 3 night stay at this hotel. It is a budget hotel which seems to cater for longer term guests as well as short term. The pros are location is very central, rooms were warm. Our first room was very large but very dated and noisy. We moved to a much smaller room which was more modern, cleaner and slightly less noisy although the noise from outside was still an issue. Cons were placed overall looks very dated, tired and had a strange odour. Breakfast was mediocre at a push ( On the last day we ate out) . I didn’t feel overly safe at the property and the appearance of police twice within 24 hours did not help. If you need somewhere cheap to stay the night this may be for you but overall I would not recommend or return.

I booked here as I was going to an engagement party at Yotel and didn't want to pay there prices, with it being somewhat cheaper I wasn't sure what to expect, read some reviews and was a bit sceptical, but needn't have worried, yes when you first go in its not the most inviting of places, very small reception area that needs freshening up and better lighting, as do corridors leading to rooms, but when I got to room it wasn't as abd as I thought it was going to be, bathroom looked and felt modern, had two single beds (only needed the one), wasn't the biggest room but it did me fine, couple of chairs to sit if needed, but TBF I was only there to sleep once I had come back from party. Sleep wise beds were comfy enough, pillows lacked substance but as they were plenty on each bed, not an issue, only downside is noise, I got back to hotel around 1.30 - 2am, I could still hear music being played, when that stopped the shouting started followed by the sirens, but once shut windows it was better, however had it been a warmer night I am guessing this could have been a problem. Had a kettle with coffee and Tea available, I didn't use, breakfast was buffet style, and fair play it was nice, had cold or hot options, also fruit and continental style pastries, so plenty options, the hot food was fine, maybe could have done with being a little warmer, but it was good enough. Overall if I was tomcome to Glasgow again would I come back...maybe

Ok so I was very dubious about staying here and only chose it because there weren't many choices for just a Friday night in Glasgow that weren't ridiculously expensive. The reviews made it sound like a homeless hostel and to be frank, I was rather dreading it. However, the wing and room I was in was hard to fault - it had obviously been refurbished and the room was very comfortable indeed, well appointed and had an excellent shower and a very comfortable bed. The hotel is on the rougher end of Argyle Street and the reception is a little "institutional" but apart from that I couldn't fault the room. I was surprised to get breakfast included and while the food was fine (although the smallest fried eggs I have ever seen!) I did rather get the impression I was the only person in the room paying my own bill! However, it was ok and certainly a lot better than I had feared from the reviews.

Best wee city centre bar in Glasgow. No-nonsense and fast service from experienced and friendly servers. Food cooked to go and always hot, fresh and delicious. Interesting interior, warm and unexpectedly cosy. Late openings make this perfect for meeting friends for drinks and eats. Did I mention the great staff?

Food was good. Drinks a bit pricey. Staff great and very attentive. Ladies toilets were shocking though - sanitary bins literally over flowing and floor needed a good scrub. Not sure we would go back.

Been to Ad Lib a few times for food and so far it's delivering great food at decent prices.
The food is mostly American themed with burgers, various fries, steaks, milkshakes etc. served 7 days a week.
There is also a bar at the entrance if you are only out for drinks and they have a decent selection of beers and spirits as well.
Highly recommended ?
