I had a really pleasant stay. This was great for an overnight. Its a budget hotel, it was clean and warm. Bed was really comfortable. Room had everything you would expect: tea/coffee, television, hair dryer and, of course, bed. Shower in bathroom is a mutli nozzle one. Took a little figuring out, but worth the effort. Room at ground level and back of hotel. Area outside communal to several buildings and used as a smoking area. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Newton hotel was a very nice hotel. I had a single room which was plenty spacious for me and breakfast was cooked to order which was nice especially since it was complimentary. Only downside was that there is no air conditioning so I'm not sure how happy I would've been if it was actually warm our but for this trip, I was happy.

Would not recommend I'm afraid. Having recently stayed in other 3 star hotels in Glasgow, this one was noticeably poor by comparison. But, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom presentable so it was fine. This is not the hotel's fault but my room was near the bottle bins for the club a few buildings down so I got woken up several times a night. Also, the drunk students making a racket in the car park off and on all night didn't help. Props to the fella in the next room who informed them of his displeasure!!

Cheap and cheerful. Basic hotel room and quite possibly one of the smallest I have ever been in, although there may have been bigger rooms I was unable to see. Have not yet had breakfast. No issues with cleanliness or staff. Receptionist was helpful and even came down to room to sort out the TV.

The hotel room was decent for the price, however the room didn't get made after our first night, even though the maids saw us and we put the sign out side saying free for service. The staff were ok, not overly friendly but ok. Not a bad hotel to rest your head.

The decor is *very* red; carpets, curtains, bedcovers. Now I like red, but it still seemed a little OTT. Also, after a hard day doing 'whatever it was I was doing', I like to relax on/in a hotel bef and watch some telly, for chill time. Not a great experience here, as the telly was about 9 feet away from me, 6 feet to the right - instead of at the end of the bed. A rather fancy shower with lots of nozzles pointing at the body...didn't work properly...but on the pluses; the normal shower head worked fine, the place appeared clean and tidy and the staff were friendly. A bit noisy, being *right in the centre of Glasgow* - but then again, the convenience of being *right in the centre of Glasgow* was pretty good. Near to Charing Cross station, so travel links good....but little parking. I recommend you 'book a spot' with the hotel when you book your room, as apparently they do have a bookable car park (that's not mentioned). Overall - not bad, and I'd consider an overnight stay there again.

Its swanky type bar in Glasgow Just know when your walking to it stands out. You know its going to cost you more than usual type bar.

Good drinks but slow on the food service. They should be better prepared for how busy it gets on a Saturday afternoon.

Friendly staff. Good service. Clean. No hassle.
Projector needs a bit of a spruce on top floor but sounds are great.

First time visiting but glad I did. Great decor, friendly staff (though they were clearly annoyed by a group of ignorant tw*ts oozing pretentiousness) and a selection of great cocktails. Try the blushing dragon, it's practically a health drink.

Not sure if it`s because I look like a clueless tourist but I`ve been short changed here a couple of times...

I am often gravely disappointed with the service in this branch; however, as it is close to my work I continue to go for convenience. The staff are severely lacking training, manners and personal hygiene. Not once have I given an order and received it correctly.

I would like to stress though that one member of staff who is there all the time, Irene, could not be more attentive or helpful. I believe she may be the only person trusted to operate the til as sadly she does not carry out my order (I believe she would get it right every time).

Disappointing

i currently work at subway silverburn owned by shaheed and whaheed However when I went to this subway and asked for the student deal I was refused even though this is a valid order the person before me got 3 cookies but because I requested sauce in my sub he refused to serve me which wouldn't be acceptable in the silverburn branch
