Stayed here for my fiancée's birthday and had the absolute best experience. Beautifully presented room with a balcony overlooking the bay. Customer service from Trizia was second to none, She is an absolute credit to the hotel. We'll be back based on her service alone, but the hotel is fantastic!

My stay at St David’s Cardiff by IHG was extremely disappointing and left an overall feeling of neglect and poor management.
From the very beginning, everything felt strange, uncomfortable, and unpleasant. The rooms were very cold — unacceptably cold — which is simply not appropriate for a hotel of this standard.
Breakfast was also far below expectations. The selection consisted mainly of baked beans in tomato sauce and an excessive amount of ham and sausages. There were no fruits at all, and yogurt was only available if you came very early in the morning.
The worst part of the experience was the spa and pool area. It is hard to describe the level of dirt and overcrowding. It felt less like a spa and more like a large chlorinated puddle that only the bravest guests would dare to enter. In the changing rooms, hair was everywhere, and the towels were worn out and full of holes.
To make matters worse, there were no slippers provided in the rooms, so guests had to walk barefoot to the spa area. Given the overall lack of cleanliness, this was especially unpleasant.
Unfortunately, this was a very negative experience.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm hospitality and professionalism. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I truly appreciated how attentive and friendly everyone was throughout my stay.
The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed and linens were high quality, and I slept better here than I do at home! Small details, like complimentary water, good lighting, and thoughtful amenities, made a big difference.
The location is perfect—close to everything I wanted to see, yet quiet enough for a restful night’s sleep. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which offered a great variety of fresh and tasty options.

Loved your hotel. We had a fantastic king room with sea views & the bed was very comfortable. Didn’t have the evening meal there but loved the breakfast, it was the best we’ve ever had. Location was superb.

We stay in Cardiff for a few nights. Got the sea view. The view was amazing. We had breakfast on bed. Many choices of food to get for breakfast.

Excellent hotel with lovely rooms and outstanding views. leisure Suite is also excellent as are walks around the bay. Highly recommend and will stay again. Service outstanding

Far too small to comfortably seat a large group but the staff more than make up for any shortcomings. They accidentally messed up our order and were so nice in sorting it out. Whoever recruits your sandwich artists needs a raise (as well as the sandwich artists themselves).

Peas- disgusting
They messed up our dessert order completely we ordered 2 chocolate sundaes and apple crumble but they gave us apple and rhubarb crumble, vanilla ice cream and chocolate ice cream.When we said that we ordered chocolate she just left and took like 20 mins to get a bowl with 2 scoops of chocolate ice cream.She was really rude and when my mum started to complain she just said sorry so my mum said sorrys aren't good enough then she just walked away.The service is horrendous and the food is gross.Never go there.

Walked in around lunch time and the place was empty, didn't even see any staff. Eventually someone appeared and we ordered some food and drinks. She wasn't very enthusiastic or friendly. The food arrived and was bad. Nothing tasted fresh, the tacos didn't have enough cheese or anything, so they were just dry. Baked potatoes were still hard and uncooked. The fish and chips were okay, but the fish lacked any taste and was definitely not fresh.
I highly reccomend not going here. Wetherspoons is just down the street if you want better food for cheaper. Should have left the place when we walked in and realized no one was there.

Good points doorman where great hired in staff where great. Beer reasonably priced.

Made a reservation with terms of a £10 deposit per person for 7pm I arrive to pay my deposit and the terms where changed without anyone contacting me despite them having my details. Permanent staff looked board and need customer service training.

Friends and I went to Salt for some drinks. We were groped and sexually harassed to the point we had to ask bouncers there to intervene. The bouncer's response was to tell us 'boys will be boys' and do nothing. Boring and backwards attitude to a small group of people trying to enjoy a night out. Stay away!
