Leonardo Hotel Bristol City in Bristol

I had such a great experience at this cute little design hotel. I needed a quiet, cool place to spend a day of meetings because during this heatwave, my house was both a sauna and a construction site. I called them, and Frankie was so accommodating. She let me check in early and made my check-in process completely smooth. The rooms are well designed, the beds are very comfortable. There's a cute little bar and restaurant on the ground floor. A great addition to Bristol's hotel scene.

The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing and natural light. The service was professional and attentive; the concierge and front desk were quick to respond, and the attention to detail was impressive. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and consistent quality. The rooftop terrace had a superb view, making it a great spot to enjoy the city and relax with a drink.

We stayed for two nights recently. Everything about the hotel was right but we particularly liked the room. It was spacious, comfortable and clean. The decor was modern but not too minimalist. All fittings were in good condition and the heating and air-conditioning worked.

We did not eat at the hotel as there are nice cafes etc very close by and a proper pub just up to road.
The hotel is not in the very centre of Bristol but it's close to everything. Ideal for us.
A subsidised car park is only a five minute walk away.
All staff were friendly and helpful too.
We will stay again.

Superb in location, Carpark was juts nearby with promo code from hotel, very convenient access to city main attraction with numerous good restaurant nearby.

The place is so nice, cool , clean and the service is amazing. I would recommend it to everyone who wants to visit it to and experience the place.

We were greet by lovely young lady room was good size but no where to hanger our wet coats or drawers for underwear and socks
Coffee at breakfast wasn’t very tasty it was very bitter
Fridge was not a fridge it didn’t keep anything cool it was warm
Stain on chair and when I stripped the bed when I was leave to stain

Beautifully and exceptionally clean hotel lobby and room but room decor was very cold and bland. Comfy bed, lovely shower and great range of products to use. We had a very good breakfast included in our stay and lots of choice. Atmosphere was very flat and depressing - no chatter or conversation from staff which was a shame - probably the constant depressing ‘music’ which was being played.

Location was about a 10-15 min walk into Bristol which was fine for us as we love walking. The hotel overlooks graffitied waste ground and the ring road runs right next to it so no lovely views sadly.

Most staff looked glum, no conversation or friendliness just bored young staff behind the bar. One lady at reception made up for all of them with her super-bubbly personality. Quite a few were on their phones - hotel was very quiet for a bank holiday. NO parking on-site but there is use of another nearby.

Food was okay-to-good - nothing outstanding and quite expensive but only to be expected in a city hotel.

Overall, it was worth the discounted price we got it for - definitely would have looked elsewhere if it had been full price.
