Great for golfing on PGA Championship rated course. Always busy, plenty of nesrby parking. Offers great 19th hole Golf Cart provided. Course has living areas throughout, residential, townhome and condo or villa style living quarters for rent and sale. Beware of ownership and front desk management, who deal with less than ideal tenants, are viewed as contentious and communication style is less than ideal and they could use training in housing rules and issue resolution to diffuse heated discussions. Employee(s) are viewed as liability or vicarious risky and volatile.

I had a tee time at Golden Hills Golf Club that turned into a disaster. I arrived early at around 1:05 p.m., warmed up, and was ready for my 2:16 tee time. However, they had no carts available. We waited and waited. By 2:30, we hadn’t even started, and the group ahead of us (scheduled at 2:08) hadn’t either. At 2:50, after over 30 minutes past our tee time, we barely got going. By 4:50, we were only on hole 6—no chance of finishing. I paid full price for a round I couldn’t complete, plus range balls. It’s been three days, and despite calling multiple times, the manager promised—Ryan—has never returned my call. The pro shop staff was dismissive, and now they don’t answer. This was the worst golf experience I’ve ever had. I strongly recommend avoiding this course. as of February 25, still no callback from the manager Ryan and I called on the 22nd

It a nice course, the fairways were in good shape, the greens were ok as well. It was a little overpriced but the majority of the courses in the valley are overpriced. The staff was friendly and helpfull. I'd play there again because it's one of the few under $75.00 courses in the valley during winter season.

Played here a few weeks ago and the course was in good shape. Fairways had good grass, yes there are bare areas but if your ball ends up there you simply hit a bad shot. The greens were very consistent. Overall had a great time with my buddy and would definitely come back.

Not worth the money. Poorly maintained. There’s more dirt than grass. Pace of play was horrible. 2-3 groups stacked at each tee box. Extremely disappointed in the amount of money paid for this course. Also the carts are still gas powered. Felt like I was at the family fun center.

Horrible customer service. Tee time was delayed by an hour and a half so we could only play 9 holes. Wouldn’t give us a half refund. The course is okay but they don’t care about the customers apparently.

Nasty place I complained about the AC unit smelling and maintenance came and just put bleach in it which I work in HVAC and that’s a big no-no unless if you’re going to clean it out with a rag afterwards you don’t let it sit in the AC unit because it will corrode the copper

I played this course today. Or actually 3.5 holes of this course today. It was so awful I had to leave. Truth be told, I wasn’t playing well, but… First, I asked for range balls, he said, “let me see if I have any. Yep, you got the last bag.” The balls were a motley collection of all other range ball rejects. The range was just dirt. Yes…hitting off dirt. The course wasn’t any better. Every 2nd shot I hit was off dirt. I finally left after my 2nd shot on the fourth hole when I had been there 75 minutes. And waited 25 minutes to hit my tee shot on 4. The ranger just drove around. Didn’t do anything. Just drove around. The starter pulled me off the range 20 minutes before my tee time to play with other people…then another guy rolled up when we were in the fairway on one. Total. Disaster. Don’t care how cheap it is. Stay away from this hell hole.

Just finished a 3 year residential stay here. Not impressed. Poorly managed, not maintained. Definite bug issue / infested with roaches, mice and (!!) bedbugs (!!). Maintenance issues are ignored. Water service here is intermittent, and management refuses to repair. As a golfer, I would never waste my time and money here. It's evident that the owners of this establishment have no interest in maintaining their investment, and management has little interest in maintaining infrastructure and usability. Property manager Joanne has either no experience or simply no skills in managing a facility. Management refuses to be accountable for anything, so your experience here will be "luck of the draw", to be putting it generously. They don't even have an interest in operating legalities, for example, refusing to return Security Deposits, upon successful surrendering of their "apartment" with inspections performed, Joanne delays refunding these monies in order to pad her bottom line and get her end of year bonuses, instead of adhering to the Landlord Tenant Act or A.R.S. and refunding these within 14 days of residency termination. Bottom line: don't waste your time. They have neglected a once beautiful property, and continue to do so, taking advantage of their residents and being unappreciative of whatever patronage they can garner. Their business practices are questionable, at best.

We stayed over labor day weekend for our wedding. We booked 8 rooms and the staff went out of their way to make this special time great for our whole party. The rooms were all remodeled and worth the value. The ladies at the frond desk are awesome and will make your stay memorable. Thank you for the great time.
