Holiday Inn-Carlsbad The Sea in Carlsbad

Walked in during dinner time and there wasn't anyone behind the counter, called out for about 5-6 minutes ... no one ever came out from the back to help me.

Taking forever to get food. Only two person working in the entire store.

The only reason that I didn't give this place one star is because I noticed that they tried to serve the customers as fast as possible, but there are clear issues at this place. When I couldn't hear what the employee said clearly and asker her to repeat, rather than clarifying she just looked at me and kept silent... so I just guessed. Then after I paid, I wasn't told that the change comes out of the machine and so when I went back to explain that I didn't get my coin change, instead of apologizing she just looked at me and basically acted like I should've known. She literally asked me why I didn't get it from the machine and I had already explained that I didn't know that the change comes out of there. She didn't give me the change I was due because apparently the next customer already took it and didn't try to solve the problem at all, not even an apology, which irked me to no end. The small change wasn't even the issue, but the attitude that I was shown was very offensive. I really hope they get trained in customer service. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant and I really regret coming.

Very bad service. One lady looks like Hispanic treat my family like jerk. We felt very bad.
