San Diego, 1 Market Pl (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Perfect location with so many restaurants and attractions walkable. The gym is world class and the pool area is amazing. There is also a pickle ball court.
Air conditioner only worked properly 1 of the 3 nights of our stay. On our 1st night we had Facilities check or ac around 7 pm & 4 am. We were told they were having trouble with one of the chillers. We changed rooms after the first night of sweating. But the ac wasn’t much better. Hotel mgt. provided a box fan for our room. That helped! The 2nd night was comfortable. The 3rd and last was similar to...
The hotel is huge, which is great, but unfortunately the breakfast was really not good. However, the scenery right next to the hotel downstairs is beautiful.
The location is good, but the room is very small and quite old, and it’s very noisy at night. The main issue I’m unhappy with is that they overcharged me by $61.91. I called the hotel, and they told me to contact Trip.com, but Trip.com doesn’t make it easy to reach customer service. I guess even if I manage to get in touch, they’ll probably tell me to contact the hotel again. Being pushed back and...
Great room with a nice view, and the two Queen beds were spacious enough. The location is excellent! However, breakfast was just average.
An incredibly clean hotel with exceptionally friendly staff — everything was truly satisfying. The ocean view from the room was absolutely breathtaking. The only downside was that parking fees are charged separately, and the parking facility was somewhat inconvenient to use.

Everything about my stay was more than fine except for two issues. I had already informed hotel management that I would be proposing that night, and I specifically requested a non-connecting room with a decent view. Despite this, I was given a connecting room and placed next to a group of friends who were extremely loud throughout the night. I tried contacting the reception multiple times regarding...
The gym is great. The room has a good view of the pool and the bay. In general the room is comfortable. The parking lot is overpriced.
This hotel is very close to the airport, with a shuttle bus every 30 minutes that takes guests directly there without needing a reservation – super convenient. The hotel's environment is lovely, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. If you're driving, though, be aware that parking costs $55 USD per day.
The sea-view room was great, and the location was convenient, close to several popular attractions. The pool was large with long opening hours. The only downside was the parking; it seems they might lease out spaces to the airport, which made it poorly organized. Despite the $55 daily parking fee for hotel guests, finding a spot often meant a long search and a long walk, sometimes even having to park...
The hotel's ambiance was absolutely fantastic. Despite its proximity to the airport, it was surprisingly quiet. Getting around by car was incredibly convenient, making it easy to access nearby attractions. The front desk staff who helped with check-in was exceptionally friendly and helpful. And the sunset view was truly breathtaking!
Very good nice view with nice vibes around you. Clean and front desk people so helpful

Great views and comfort, but watch out for extra charges! I recently stayed at the San Diego Marriott Marquis and Marina. While the hotel itself is very nice, I encountered an issue that significantly impacted my experience. Despite having booked and fully prepaid my stay through Trip.com, the hotel attempted to charge me an additional $45 per day plus tax for the so-called "Destination Fee" at check...
Information In-app $35 pay at hotel but I paid actualy $80 at the checked in date, it's amenity automatically fee billed without inform before. Also I request the slipper but no one get it to me and bathroom essentials, No bottles water in our room.
Great hotel in the heart of the action. Good overall service and enjoyed the amenities that were included!
Perfect location to be close to everything. Great hotel for families.Definitely will come back again.
Nice location for the convention center. Not so special just plain typical Marriott property.

Specious room with clean sheets but no slippers provided. Friendly front-desk staff.
Clean and conveniently located to bay front with decent views.
I LOVED the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. Location and view across the water was lovely. Great amenities include large pool, free water bottles & refill stations and bikes for a cycle along the front. Oh and onsite Starbucks! I’d recommend if you’re staying downtown San Diego.
My family and I stayed at this hotel a couple days ago and not only was the hotel great but the staff were welcoming and courteous throughout our stay. We got a great deal for a future vacation through Armando with Hilton Grand Vacations, who was very professional and informative. We're very happy we met him.
I am currently staying at this hotel for a conference. The hotel gives you the option to check in ahead of time in the app! I didn't do that, but as soon as I got there, I was able to get into the line for the Hilton Honors loyalty and service was quick and friendly. I cannot remember the name of the individual who helped me, but if management is able to pull the person who helped check me in at the...
Overall awesome hotel! Great location and exceptional service. Very energy conservative, I had to request my thermostat be unlocked each day as it would reset to 70 or be off when I would return to room after being away for several hours. Annoying, but I understand. Staff are phenomenal. Paul checked me in and was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the hotel and amenities. I spent a good bit of...

The room overlooked the beach. Partial view. Overall , I would have preferred to stay in property for breakfast but was unavailable
We had a problem with the initial room and were moved two times until we found a good room
Absolutely incredible hotel. I see why it has its reputation, and it is very well deserved. Will definitely be back.
I hoped that we can enjoy the historical site with my family from abroad, but I found the web cobs on the wall over the lighting. When I call the front desk, they just said that they’ll send a janitor and I couldn’t unpack my luggage for a while. Also, there are so many hidden ( not clearly disclosed) costs.
It was an amazing and memorable stay.  Cost of the room is exaggerated and what's up with the $17 small cup of fresh squeezed orange juice.  Yikes...
very pretty hotel with history. there is an souvenir store inside and showing some historical videos about celebrities who were staying here, also some old pics of the hotel. quite funny. the interior is well maintained and elegant. you could spend a full day in this island visiting the hotel and nearby beach which are same awesome

This was our second time staying at Town and Country, and it continues to be one of our favorite hotels! The staff was absolutely amazing and made our stay even better. The only downside was the lack of a microwave, which was a bit inconvenient for us. Other than that, it was a great experience—we’ll definitely be back!
It perfectly reflects the romantic feelings of Europeans and Americans. Sitting around the campfire, drinking wine, listening to music and chatting, it is a great experience

Location is good, building a little bid old.
The place is awesome. Convenient clean rooms. Close to light rail and major highways. Service is great. Only thing that annoyed us was the tight parking spaces. Good for compact but not sustainable.
Food was great. Room was clean and had the basics. It was sold out when I stayed so I don't blame them for being so busy but just a little direction in where my room was would have been nice seeing as the property is fairly big. Also when I finally did get to my room (which was more than a hop, skip and jump away) my key didn't work.. So I had to walk all the way back with luggage in tow to get the...

The hotel is too old overall. The showerhead in my room was a mess, and for two nights, there was almost no hot water when I returned. It was only after I complained that someone came to fix it. Low-grade, bad review!
Location is near to the train station and good sea view!
Super convenient location, especially for cruise travelers! Shuttle buses are free, also luggage storage!
Overall was good, but not perfect. I like the Hotel it seemed clean and the location was close to the harbor. The bed was comfortable the bathroom was nice for me.I had trouble finding the entrance at night it didn't seem super obvious, checking in they had to run my card 6 times even though it said approved she said it didn't go through it took a long time. This was a work-related trip, so it wouldn't be a place I would personally choose. But what was memorable? My co-workers and I found that the bathrooms had a weird smell. The rooms were plain. Nothing to hype about. Balcony rooms available, some facing the bay or city. I woke up and opened my shade to a huge cruise ship, pointed right at me. I was in Tower 3. This 3-star hotel seems to think it’s 5 stars. The front desk staff was friendly, but we were immediately approached by several concierge staff who felt pushy—likely trying to sell a timeshare—and it was hard to get away from them. I stay here when I have events to go to in sd. The most pleasant hotel with clean rooms and great staff. Easy check in and check out. Perfect location!
Room was in okay condition. Bathroom door handle was loose on the inside. Small dents in some of the wall frames. Otherwise was clean and organized.
Very convenient. Located in the heart of gaslamp. In house restaurants and excellent service
The room was very clean. The room service was great. Went to Deftones at Petco park, just a quick walk! Staying there again!
The view of the hotel and the location are great, but the charges are very poor. From the time of check-in to the check-out, a total of three charges will be charged. The charges are very unclear. The total price is much higher than the room rate. Please pay directly by credit card. Please be careful if you want to check in. Be taken advantage of.

The hotel was in a great location in downtown and walking distance from all tourist attractions. Very convenient to many eateries. Tha staff at the hotel were excellent and very helpful with a smile all the time.
The hotel employees were all great and very friendly and they accommodated an early check in for us at 12pm instead 4pm! The rooms were great and very clean. I highly recommend
Very loud , the walls are very thin and you can hear anything from other rooms

We stayed in a bungalow which is just one big building. The door connecting rooms was knocked on at 1:45am and then parting next door could be heard. Found a few stray bugs in a windowless room so they came from the wall. The partying room in the same building made it hard to sleep. Not sure if all of the rooms have this feature
It exceeded expectations. The resort has great environment and location. It is close to the Ocean Park and the city.
Resort positioning, Environment: There is a beach 🏖️ golf tennis and other facilities, suitable for staying for a few days to relax Sanitation: No major problems were found Service: Only stayed for one day, no surprises Facilities: This is a big problem. The old-fashioned air conditioner from the 1980s rumbled,,, the exhaust fan in the bathroom hummed,,,
Facilities wise, It was good but for the cleaning we asked several times but none show up to clean but we got discounts
It's OK, it feels like a vacation
This is my second time staying here. I booked a regular room last time, but this time I booked a house next to the bay. It is really great, with pleasant scenery. A perfect booking! The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the USS Midway Museum and the 'Kissing Sailor' statue. The hotel also offered complimentary afternoon tea. There's a convenience store right downstairs, and plenty of restaurants within a short walk. I absolutely loved this hotel and would definitely book here again if I return.
I booked a bay view king room, and the view was indeed very nice, just as shown in the hotel pictures. It's about a ten-minute walk to the Midway Museum, which is convenient. Aside from that, there weren't many highlights. The soundproofing was terrible; I could hear people talking in the next room, and the doors were very loud when opening and closing. Valet parking is mandatory, and it's not cheap...
The front desk service was excellent 👍. After checking out, I realized I'd left my watch in the room. The front desk immediately reissued a key card, and I was able to retrieve it without any hassle. The room was very new, clean, and tidy. The location is great; you can walk to all the seaside attractions. It's also very close to the Santa Fe train station, making it super convenient to take the train...
Excellent, the room was large and fully equipped. Everything exceeded expectations, except that there was renovation work being done on this floor of the hotel, and there was some noise in the afternoon.
I stayed there for a weekend. Location is in the middle between little Italy and galamp. It is on the quieter side of town. Recently renovated rooms but not fully new. Best staycation for us. Very dog friendly. The rooms are spacious with great balconies. Easy to take the dog for a nice walk around the spacious grounds. The pool area is awesome, loved the salt water instead of the chemicals. The staff is so welcoming and met our every request. Will definitely return.
This was our first vacation alone, we hadn't had one in over 20 years. Jade at the front desk was so amazing she was so excited for us. We had an outstanding stay at Loews Coronado Bay during a recent trip with my wife and kids. From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff was incredibly attentive. Everything was good except you have to pay $58 daily for parking, which is insane. Also, they charge you another $60 per night as “amenity fee” which is also outrageous.
Excellent place to stay in for our family. Big change compared to Hollywood LA for the better! Only thing is the shower, low water pressure and a bit confusing to navigate for our simple folks.
The old man who cleaned the house had a very bad attitude. The hotel is generally OK. I don't know why the hotel here is so messy and the fees are quite high. I don't quite understand it. I took some photos of the scenery from the room and the scenery downstairs.
The location of the hotel is very good, there is a Starbucks downstairs and the Midway aircraft carrier is opposite. The service is super good, especially the lady serving breakfast!
The room is really average. The Intercontinental level in American tourist cities is really far behind. The hardware is only at the level of three or four stars in China. The location is good, close to the coastal port. Parking is free and it is very convenient to park by yourself.
We stayed for 7 days, the room was fine, but the waiter was a bit careless and threw away the Legoland shopping bag with the things inside. The sink was blocked, but everything else was fine.

Value for money and spot on with everything you need at the hotel. Location is good but parking is a pain but we figured out that if you park at Holiday Inn Express 2 miles away and take an Uber back, it’s actually worth it. Hello, general manager of the hotel! Hope you read this comment!!!I stayed in this hotel because it was close to UTC and UCSD. I stayed here for 4 days. I was satisfied with the hardware facilities. Front Desk was terrible. I expected more from a Marriott
As someone who travels often and stays at Marriott's around the world, I continue to choose this brand because of its consistency, network, and member benefits—and the Marriott La Jolla absolutely lived up to that reputation. Couldn’t used the pool or jacuzzi because the water wasn’t heated. Also I was charged extra for parking even though I asked specifically if it was part of the resort fee and the fact that there was free parking just in front of the facility. Gym was small and dark, breakfast wasn’t included. There are much better resorts, hotels and rentals across the ocean
A little outdated, beds very firm, remodeling so it’s luck if you get an updated room or an outdated one.
Loved this place, make sure to put the do not disturb sign up tho.. nothing major but just to be safe.
