It was nice location close to little Italy and the harbor room was clean and nice staff

We stayed there one night and didn’t have blankets. It was raining and really cold. After we got to the room we realized there’s no blankets so I called reception and they told me I needed to go back and get some. Why didn’t they mentioned that to me when I checked in? SMH then the blankets we got were so old and not comfortable at all.

Great stay, value price and close to everything we needed. We will stay again.

The hotel offers a great overall atmosphere, with a private inner bay and easy access to the beach. The environment is lovely, and there are plenty of recreational facilities on the property. That said, the room was a bit small, and there was an unpleasant smell coming from the air conditioning, which was disappointing for a hotel at this level.

Check in process was great. Staff was kind and accommodating. Studio room was very nice with a beautiful view of the bay. The only downfall was we attempted to dine at Dockside and never was greeted by a server so we left after about 10 minutes. Menu was limited as well. Other than this dining experience we highly recommend staying here.

Awesome staff, Andre at the front desk was on top of his game. When he found out, it was our anniversary he provided a credit to be used on my dinner at the hotel. Our room was awesome overlooking the bay harbor. I definitely will return there for my next San Diego visit.

Great, fun staff! Enjoyed the pool, bar, and Halloween cruise. Only negative was the smoke alarm low battery started alerting at 6:30AM. They came very quickly and changed it out. I got back to sleep within 15 mins.

Affordable stay with a great location near the airport and with convenient access to major roadways. We were upgraded to the renovated rooms. They were decent and the beds were comfortable. If youd prefer to spend your money exploring San Diego rather than paying more for a room I highly recommend.

There is basically no service, no breakfast, convenient parking, and no response when I emailed to ask for a receipt.

Very nice room, with microwave, refrigerator, bar, sofa can put a 1.5 bed very comfortable, can accommodate up to 6 people. Our family of 5 lived very happily. There is a CVS store about 300 meters downstairs and a 7-11 a little further. Girls should not go out alone at night, there are messy people on the street.

It's in a great location on a leisure and vacation island with hundreds of yachts nearby. The scenery is fantastic, and it's convenient for walking and jogging. However, the room was a bit old and had a slight musty smell, so it needed to be ventilated for a while. Fortunately, there were doors and windows at the front and back, so ventilation was smooth.

It is a 3 star hotel and that’s what you get. The room is adequate but it’s quite bare for what you are paying. Located at convoy so good for food, has wide parking spaces but might run out on busy days if u return late, pretty good room but doesn’t clean your room until you checkout so keep that in mind, 15-20 minute drive to downtown, overall hotel I would recommend.

The hotel was very nice and clean and great value for the money. It just sits in a strange pocket of an area that is sketch. The hotel next door attracts a seedy crowd and there are many vagrants hanging around. However, once you got to main road the area was fine and very close to everything. I did enjoy my stay and would stay here again.

The guest services were not my issue. But the bathroom floor was not very clean, and the bed sizes are a joke. Brittany and Stephanie were great though. We stayed a week and enjoyed our stay. The location is a bit shady and paying for parking is something I've never heard of before so I gave it a 4 star. It is central to everything we wanted to see and do so that was a great for us.

I stayed at this hotel because of its low price, and I thought it was a good value for money. It's a bit of a walk from the nearest bus stop, but the front desk staff were very helpful, and it's located in Little Italy, so it's safe to get around.

Overall, a decent stay especially since i was only here 1 day because I came to watch Rosalia in concert. Hotel room had a decent sized TV. Two queen bedroom was the one we got. The room is spacious and there's good amenities like the pool. I liked the light up mirror in the bathroom and the giant mirror in the room if you are getting ready for an event. The shower was not high pressure but it was okay. Family fun I can't say enough about this place. Everything is brand new. Super clean, Eco-friendly rooms and the staff was superb. I stayed in The Horton Grand for six nights from 8/16 till 8/22 in 2024. Unbelievably, my room (#321) did not have a refrigerator, although two staff members at the front desk (reception) claimed that every room had one. I remember several years ago before the pandemic my room did have a microwave oven and a refrigerator when I stayed in the same hotel.

During my trip to San Diego, I booked a hotel in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter (established in 1913) on Ctrip. The old elevator is quite unique.
