we had ordered take out the night we got there and there were multiple roaches running around our food in the morning. there are bed bugs, an overwhelming smell of weed, and sketchy people both in and outside of the hotel. you definitely get what you pay for which is not gonna be a good nights sleep. location is pretty convenient for groceries and bus stops but the negatives over power that.

This is a one star hotel apparently.. it’s a little dated but man I’m glad we took the chance with it. So clean and comfortable. Staff were super helpful with our weird check in and out times and helping arrange transport. Awesome location for what we needed. Definitely book here again

The hotel where the next True-Crime-Story takes place. Long term residents, it smells like weed everywhere and spooky persons on the corridors with whom you share the bathroom with. I can't recommend it as a solo traveling girl. Booked two nights and left after the first, 5am in the morning.

The room was incredibly affordable ($520 for 6 nights) especially for the area. The hotel is very close to everything, and it was very easy to access public transit. The room was big enough, and came with a microwave, TV, a desk, & a private bathroom. The shower is super snazzy and nice. There were a few roaches in my room (I counted eleven during my six night stay), but the room itself was clean. A woman who was staying here started a fire during our stay, and we had to evacuate the building at 3:30AM. The windows are very thin, and you can hear everything happening outside, but I am from a city and am used to noise. Would not recommend for a family or for anyone expecting something special. Perfect for younger people on a budget, who don't plan on spending much time in their hotel room.

Great location, clean for the most part, cozy rooms. The shared bathrooms are a little strange but we stayed for two nights and haven't waited for it yet. There is not house cleaning so don't thrash the room and expect it to be clean when you come back in the evening. Reasonable price. Over all I would come back again.

A wonderful place in the center of the city. The road of the famous cable car is directly under the windows, because of this it's a little bit noisy. Cute and clean rooms. This hotel is great for young people, but not suitable for families with children, because of the tough pot smell and noises. There are not too much parking places nearby. Big Trader Joe's grocery is in a ten steps from hotel's door.

Location is the only thing decent about this hotel. Bed bugs, roaches, urine smell, dirty, loud, uncomfortable, shady manager who will give your room key out to random people to break in your room and Rob you. Crazy I don't understand how this place is still up n running.

Paper thin walls, shared bathrooms/showers, unenforced quiet hours, views into other people's rooms, street noise… if you're planning on sleeping here bring sleep aid and a mask so the light-allowing blinds don't wake you. Also, shower shoes are a must due to the communal bath areas. Make sure to lock your doors when not occupying your room, it's manual with a key. Probably best to just keep a dnd up on the door your whole stay to keep housekeeping out. Also, a bit too pricey, I get that you're in the Nob Hill District, but with everything considered it's price is steep. My recommendation, if you NEED something cheap, this will do. Otherwise, there are other options.

Great location, pretty close to most things in downtown San Francisco so walking definitely helps save money on transportation. Our room was available earlier in the door which helped enormously when we just landed and need to freshen up and drop off our things. Staff is pretty friendly. The room is nice, there's a sink which is convenient and clean bathrooms. Highly recommend!

Good place to stay for a few days in SF, shared bathroom but nice zone, the cable car is right outside

Really cool 111 year old building with an antique elevator. Big flat screen TV in rooms. Great location and awesome staff. Steve was very helpful and accommodating. Great no frills hotel to stay at for a convention or a short getaway to SF. Definitely recommend to others and would stay here again.
