The value for money is quite good, and the location is excellent. Right across the street, there's a big supermarket and Heytea. However, upon arrival, there's a mandatory $39 daily destination fee. Parking is $91 per night, but there's an option diagonally across the street for $44 a night.

Booked the presidential suit and the view was amazing! The room was very spacious and very ambient (which lacks some lighting). I was surprised there was not a microwave, but something to keep in mind. Also there is not a light directly next to the shower. The fridge was small and its shelves were a bit wobbly. Rooms are standard Marriott level of cleanliness and modern aesthetic, but the doors to the bathrooms are heavy doors that automatically close loudly. The noise isolation between rooms isn't great either. We were woken up every 30-50 min from doors closing in adjacent rooms. I usually stay at the Marriott Marquis, and I don't think I'll be staying at the Union Square location again.

It feels like an old building that's been renovated. The room was a bit dark. The location is excellent though, right outside there's a popular photo spot with lots of people taking pictures. Chinatown is just a 10-15 minute walk away, where you can find most of the good food.
