It's a reasonably good value for the price. However, I don't think I'll stay here again.

One of the worst hotel I ever stay in the so many countries that I have been to. The surrounding is disgusting, strongly don’t recommend to stay. Lift which don’t go to first floor and you need to carry ur luggage up. Noisy and quite certain u can’t get proper rest. Everything is wrong about this motel I would call it. Only reason u should stay is probably the location. A lot of nearby hotel around but within the range of 1km pls don’t stay around to prevent being in the drug ******* zone.

I had booked a single deluxe room; it was very spacious and I loved how there was hanging space and plenty of drawers. I was there for a week and so it was nice to be able to properly unpack and have my things organised. The room would be comfortable even for two people. The room did not have air conditioning but had a ceiling fan which I actually prefer to aircon; it was July yet the room never became too hot. The window was able to open and there was a screen mesh to prevent bugs entering. I asked for and got a kettle for the room to heat my own water. Stable free Wifi.

There was a shared bathroom thus is was appreciated that was a sink in the bedroom (had toiletries, flannels and towels provided). The shared toilet and shower facilities were always clean and even though I was there a week there was never a time that I had to wait/they were occupied when I wanted to use them. The shower room had a curtain separating the wet and dry areas and there was plenty of hooks to hand items. Everywhere was always clean. It was very quiet except for sometimes being some noise from outside.

There is a small basic kitchen area if you want to prepare some simple dishes ( I never used it), and a laundry where a wash and dry is very reasonably priced.

The hotel is in a very good location and I found it ideal for exploring San Francisco. Powell street BRT is a direct line to the train station, there is a streetcar (F) which goes directly to the piers, and a bus (7) which goes along Fell Street to Golden Gate park and if you went to the end of the line it goes to the other end of Golden Gate Park/coast/beach. I walked to other areas. It is ideal if you plan to go to any concerts, and the International Art Museum of America (free entry) is only a couple of mins walk. There are many eating places in the surrounding streets including a food court with reasonably priced food – included an Ikea restaurant where hotdogs are one dollar.

The hotel felt safe and secure. The front door is always locked and there is a key card to enter the hotel and the rooms. I appreciated that not once did the key card become desensitised. The hotel is in the Mission District and thus the area does have some homeless people around; you would not notice much during the day, though many more during the evening. I am a female travelling solo and I never had any problems with any people in the area and never felt unsafe. Evening during the evening the streets are so busy that you don’t feel vulnerable as there are so many people around. I could see from my bedroom window that through the night large crowds would congregate at the corner opposite the hotel, sometimes could be noisy, and they made lots of rubbish, however, everything was cleaned up and by the next morning there was no trace of it…that is a sign that the area is taken care of.

Staff always friendly and helpful. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would have no hesitation in staying again. There was no false advertising , and the facilities were what I expected based on the description, in fact, when considering the reviews, the hotel was better than I was expecting. If people want comfortable, clean basic accommodation you can’t go wrong with this.

As the reviews said, the street where the hotel is located is indeed full of homeless people and people who seem to be doing *****. It's not a very safe place, but it's just a little way off the main street where a lot of people come and go in San Francisco, so I was totally fine. Once inside the hotel, the building seems old, but it was clean and we had a card key, so there were no problems. For security reasons, there were no amenities other than towels, and I especially wanted a water heater.
It's close to the station, and the shower and toilet are shared, but the appeal is that you can relax in your room (not with other people in a bunk bed or something), and above all, it's cheap!

The room is very small. The corridor smells of India. The public bathroom is sometimes not very clean. The toilet paper is not replenished in time. There are many homeless people sleeping at the door of the hotel. The door cannot be opened.

Nice ambiance, and the food was mostly good. Pasta with pancetta and tomato sauce was tasty. Avoid the chocolate torte, though; not much flavor.

An Italian restaurant nested within a corridor provides a quiet experience. This place is suited for intimate dining and not so much large parties. This is also reflected in the menu where there is roughly 20 menu choices to pick from which they have ensured that they do well to produce authentic Italian cuisine.

The food was great and its handmade efforts were noticeable in their Fettucine and Mushrooms dish. From observing other patrons dishes, the selection is borderline tapas. This may not satisfy customers with a desire for quantity.

For its pricing and quality of food, it is a well-balanced for occasional outings in San Francisco. Food and drink will set you back around $20

One of the better Italian places in the city. Good high-quality authentic Italian fare. They also have truffles and $500 bottles of wine available if you really want to go all out.

It's not quite like the food in Italy, but it's pretty darn good. The execution is very Italian and authentic but the ingredients here, even in the bay area, are just not as fresh as Italy's.

We had a zucchini appetizer, a bucatoni pasta with tomato sauce, porchetta, and a ricotta cheese berry tort. The highlights are the porcheta and the dessert. Both are nearly like what we had in Italy...

Had catfish and collards. Walked in on NYE and sat at the bar. Very good food, authentic down-home and I say that coming from Louisnana. Good service. Good experience overall.

Good fried chicken! Not your dry or greasy chicken. The staff was fast and professional. Big thank you Farmer Brown.
15.11.2017 Tiffany
Farmerbrown is a slow, home-cooking kind of place, with Southern staff and good Southern food. The place is big and spacious, and the food is made with quality ingredients and presented well. Add the homemade, green, spicy sauce if you like spice, maybe add some salt as well. I would come once for the experience if you have lots of time, as service tends to be on the slower side of things. They are known for their fried chicken and shrimp and grits here, so if you're a fan, order those!

Almost walked right by it while looking for somewhere to eat. So glad I didn't. One of my new favorite restaurants in town. Everything was great. Amazing food and very friendly staff.

Welcoming hospitality. Great food. Amazing music selection played in the background. Whenever I return to SF, this diner will be one of my first stops.

Good, fairly straightforward gastropub. The lamb was a huge portion, well flavored and falling oh the bone tender, but the veggies were bland. The hot toddy was nice, but the more unusual flavors didn't really come through.

Really excellent brunch, in a splendid restaurant
Slightly let down on our visit by a number of serving errors. Overall recommended for the great food and delicious cocktails, but leave plenty of time and keep an eye on what you receive to make sure it is correct.

Great burgers and sandwiches. Friendly and timely service. Expect longer waits for bigger parties.

A bit loud, but nice and fast service and good food (had brunch). Interesting selection of beers, wine and cocktails

Reticent to share my brunch spot with the world, but this has to be the best brunch you’ll never have to wait for.
