The value for money is quite good, and the location is excellent. Right across the street, there's a big supermarket and Heytea. However, upon arrival, there's a mandatory $39 daily destination fee. Parking is $91 per night, but there's an option diagonally across the street for $44 a night.

Rooms are standard Marriott level of cleanliness and modern aesthetic, but the doors to the bathrooms are heavy doors that automatically close loudly. The noise isolation between rooms isn't great either. We were woken up every 30-50 min from doors closing in adjacent rooms. I usually stay at the Marriott Marquis, and I don't think I'll be staying at the Union Square location again.

It feels like an old building that's been renovated. The room was a bit dark. The location is excellent though, right outside there's a popular photo spot with lots of people taking pictures. Chinatown is just a 10-15 minute walk away, where you can find most of the good food.

I have to say the one gentleman at the concierge was very good. He often remembered our names which is an outstanding touch. Rooms were nothing special. Interior is a bit conservative and reminiscent of 80s style hotels

Had a one night stay here while in town for work and it was a wonderful hotel and experience from check in to check out. All the staff were very friendly and professional. The room was spacious and very clean, with nice amenities. Bed was also comfortable. I would recommend this hotel if you are in town for a couple of nights.

Hotel is good and the service is great. However note that the water pressure is quite weak and very hard to control the water temperature (not sure if this is just a US thing). Also, our AC unit made some loud noises so we decided to keep it off, it’s no issue since SF weather is very comfortable anyways.

really clean, efficient, nice staff, love the 24/7 front desk. they also were super helpful tagging and holding my luggage for me. The USD $35 / night mandatory extra destination fee they charge during checkin is absolutely not worth it for us. Considering most hotel offer free WiFi and free bottle of drinking waters, the rest of the included items with this extra fee does not used by us. If this could be inform and charged before booking, that at least set our expectations right. We will definitely not coming back to this hotel...
