Had a one night stay here while in town for work and it was a wonderful hotel and experience from check in to check out. All the staff were very friendly and professional. It should be OK by the standard of ordinary five-star hotels, but if it is the standard of Four Seasons, it should be the worst Four Seasons hotel I have ever stayed in.

The location in the city center is good, but the hotel facilities are a bit old, but everything else is good.

The location is very good, very safe and convenient. When I checked in, I gave my child a 🦭 doll. My child loves it very much and takes it with him every day. The staff is friendly and enthusiastic. Overall, not bad. The hotel's location was NOT AT ALL an issue in relation to The Tenderloin. I even walked one block west, and besides a few homeless people, there was no evidence of crime and at no point did I feel unsafe. This place sure looks different in the pictures versus how it actually is. The main lobby is nice but when you get up to your room everything is jammed in with little walking space. Our bathroom is microscopic with the door hitting the toilet and the shower set up makes water get all over the ground. But, the hotel is clean and is in a good location. I found the place had a charming and comfortable feel. Nicely themed without going overboard and while old, it is well maintained. The staff I met were friendly and seemed oddly "at home". My room (queen bed) was pretty small and definitely nothing fancy. But it was comfortable, clean and definitely serviceable. All the service staff and hotel managers are very nice! The room layout is also first-class. The only drawback is that we encountered an air conditioning failure, which affected our rest, but after coordination, the hotel gave full compensation.
