Courtyard Cocoa Beach Cape Canaveral in Cocoa Beach

Handicapped room. The bed was so high I needed a step stool to get in it and almost fell every time I got out. I use a wheelchair a lot of the time so having things at arms reach is needed. The microwave and fridge were at floor level. Very hard to get to for someone with a back problem. The only comfortable seat in the room was my wheel hair. The balcony had a lovely view of the parking lot and a metal building. Looked nothing like the picture of the room I booked. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing I can say at this point is I won't be using ******* again!!!

Disappointing Experience Due to Non-Functional AC.

I recently stayed at Courtyard By Marriott Cocoa Beach Cape Canaveral and unfortunately, my experience was marred by a significant issue: the air conditioning system was not working throughout my stay. Despite informing the front desk staff about the problem, it remained unresolved.

From the moment I entered my room, I noticed that the air was stale and warm, far from the refreshing coolness one expects from a hotel room. After attempting to adjust the thermostat to no avail, I contacted the front desk to report the issue. The staff assured me that they were aware of the problem and that it would be fixed promptly. However, despite their assurances, the AC remained non-functional for the duration of my stay.

As a result, my comfort and overall experience were greatly compromised. Sleeping in a stuffy room made for restless nights, and returning to a hot room after a day of exploring was not the relaxing experience I had hoped for. Additionally, the lack of proper ventilation made the room feel damp and uncomfortable.

While I understand that technical issues can arise, the disappointing aspect was the lack of effective communication and resolution from the hotel staff. It would have been preferable to be offered a room change or some form of compensation for the inconvenience caused by the faulty AC, but all I got during check out was “I’ll let maintenance people know”

In conclusion, my stay at Courtyard By Marriott Cocoa Beach Cape Canaveral was overshadowed by the discomfort of the non-functional air conditioning system and the inadequate response from the front desk staff. I hope that the hotel takes steps to address this issue to ensure a more enjoyable experience for future guests. FYI the room number is 253
