The bar had a lot of unnecessary items, but did not have the essentials. Why wouldn't you put a few bottles of spring water for free in the room. We had to go to the supermarket to buy a couple of gallons of water to have it handy.

Incredible staff, great accommodations, and literally right on the beach! And the restaurant is directly on the beach as well and he's definitely one of the better ones on the island

W love staying at la playa, the staff is always exceptionally friendly and the hotel is clean and great beaches

Rooms are super spacious and so clean. Definitely stay in the beach house rooms.

Beach and hotel are under renovations so call ahead to ensure it’s done if you’re going to book. It didn’t bother us as one pool was open and we ventured to other beaches without the noise.

The location of the hotel is good and the beach was beautiful with easy access and a good service for food and drinks etc. On the flip side we were surprised and disappointed by the hidden costs such as, a daily resort fee of $55, daily parking costs and even having to pay for water as none is provided in your hotel room for free.
We stayed in the Tower and our roon had a bit of a damp smell and a constant whistling sound from the wind from the corridor. Overall, our stay was ok but, not worth the price.

Made an elail about 10 days befor arrival for a reservatiom, they replied the didnt do it, we went went to the restaurant they denied having received or replied.........very frosterating

Staff was friendly, hotel had a lot of construction outside by pool and beach, wasn't told this when I specifically called before I booked it. Also, ******* shows prices that says inclusive of fees and taxes, yet I was charged $55 per day for "resort fee" plus additional minimal state and occupancy fees.

Firstly, I must commend the exceptional beach view room that instantly transported me to a state of relaxation and allowed me to connect with the mesmerizing beauty of the Mexican Gulf. The friendly, professional, and well-trained Front of House team also contributed positively to my stay, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
On a positive note, the yoga sessions on the green in front of the beach were delightful and added value to my stay. The breathtaking sunset view was a highlight, although I found it necessary to secure a booking for the best seat in advance.
