Everything about our stay there was exceptional. The location is perfect with easy access to everything. The rooms were tastefully decorated and comfortable

Staff was very friendly and welcoming! Such a nice chill laid back vibe compared to the hustle and bustle of Waikiki

Do not stay here if allergic to dogs or cats. hotel is a 3 star with a good vibe. Hotel halls were dark and dingy

Views of the dock with the marina and sunset is magical. Room was spacious and bed felt amazing. Air conditioning works really good

Although the building is old, having been in business for 60 years, the rooms have been thoroughly renovated and are clean and problem-free. Above all, the size is excellent

Good - Spacious rooms - Kitchen was pretty well-equipped with an electric stove, microwave, full fridge and freezer, pots and pans etc - Unlimited beach towels - exchange them whenever they're dirty Could be improved - Old and not very well-maintained

Though everyone was friendly, the rooms are extremely outdated. I had requested a high floor a week before my stay and though they said they'd "try" their best, I was originally only assigned to a 5th floor room

I read the reviews about the noise pollution, so I asked for a higher floor, and Akela was very kind and accommodating. The location is also really good

The room was clean, and the cooking utensils and amenities were well-stocked. When items like detergent ran out, they promptly brought new supplies, which was helpful.

The location was excellent and the view incredible. Condo was a bit dated but clean - except the bathroom /shower area (outside needed to be cleaned and we had to unclog the drain) - everywhere else was clean

Furniture a bit dated but not a big deal. Washer and dryer need to be replaced. The washer was SO loud and I was not sure it was safe to use with the noise it made, once we got it started

Room was nice, clean and well supplied. Locks were tricky and sliding glass door would stick. Blinds did nothing to block the light so if you need dark to sleep you'll have issues

Loved this property for what we wanted but could use some updating. Loved it had washer and dryer and that the place provides the soap. Beds were comfy and lovely views

Hotel is excellent for families given everything is onsite with multiple pools and right on the beach. Room is a bit outdated, although enough to sleep and shower

The hotel is right on Waikiki Beach 🏖️, offering beautiful views and perfect for swimming and strolls. It's also super convenient with plenty of great food options and shops located right within the hotel

Facing directly towards the Reef Island, and with half the ocean visible, it’s a 'semi-ocean view' and still offers excellent vistas

It's a bit more expensive than outside the hotel, but the food is good. Coffee here is $6 with unlimited refills, and you can even take a cup to go when you leave. For kids who don't like meat, I recommend the pancakes

It tastes a bit like ice cream and is great for cooling down after sun exposure. There's also an excellent ice cream shop in the hotel; the line starts forming around 5 PM, and one scoop costs $7

It's super convenient to be able to get back to the room for a shower within 5 minutes after playing in the water. **Dining:** Across from the Rainbow Tower is Tropics Bar & Grill, which serves breakfast and lunch

Everything was wonderful at the lagoon tower, amenities, staff, cleanliness, views were all perfect! Front desk at the main lobby should have been a lot more helpful in helping us find the right tower though - that was very frustrating after 15hrs of travel and trying to navigate it in the dark

There was an on sight laundry which was free to use and worked really well! During our stay there Wes a lot of construction so laying out at the pool included hearing constant jack hammering

The property was amazing! Not too spread out. Lots of staff, easy to communicate over text. Loved all the amenities of the pool, lagoon, and walkable shops/dining

Great location, bed was very comfortable, room had a kitchen . Staff was very friendly and available to assist you.

Family oriented, several dining options onsite, abc store onsite for most needs, several swimming options, directly on beach, laundry facilities for families, lagoon awesome for little kids and water activities, direct view of Friday night fireworks, close to airport and marina, onsite parking (but crazy expensive), room was spacious and clean and comfortable in lagoon tower with great views

Quick check in service and good location

The hotel had some good points, things we loved and also some areas for improvement. We arrived to a tsnaumi warning so needless to say we were a bit anxious. The staff assured us they had a plan out of precaution

Good location to walk to Old City area. Clean and comfortable rooms. convenient onsite marketplace. 

Luana Hotel was wonderful! The location was perfect! The staff were delightful. Sharisse at the front desk was so sweet! She made my husband and I lei for a Luau that we attended! We loved Hawaii. Thanks Luana Hotel!!

Fort Derussy park is right next door which is a nice retreat for some quieter open relaxing space. Nicely furnished and equipped room. The included hula and music performance with wine and cheese was entertaining

Great hotel on the edge of Waikiki. Easy quick walk to all the hustle and bustle of Waikiki but just outside enough for it to be a bit calmer

The location is good, and it is b near waikiki beach. Staff is very attentive and friendly during the check in and check out. Free coffee and tea available.

Location is an excellent. Service is an excellent. One thing I didnt like: every day preparing food smelling was coming in an evening. Awful 

Price: One of the cheapest in Honolulu for the service Overall: I would definitely comeback. This is the best option if you're in a budget

Good location walkable distance to Waikiki beach but small room for parking lot so we have to pay additional 30 dollars for public parking overnight

The location of the room is very good, close to Waikiki Beach, Mecy and Alomona shopping districts. There is an abc store and MM next to it, so you can have breakfast. The room is retro, clean and hygienic

And the hotel is old, yes, and it doesnt have many facilities, yes, but it did what it was supposed to, to give me a place to rest and put my head down for a good night sleep and it did exactly that

Booking in at reception was a friendly and very easy experience. The room was good but had more of a close up view of bushes than a City View

More than adequate for an overnight stay. Very good location near Waikiki Beach, with its shops and restaurants

Eating acai bowls from Il Gelato on Beachwalk by the poolside was the absolute best! It was also great that the mineral water was always restocked and kept chilled. The room was just the right size for our family of four

The location is a definite highlight—convenient and easy to get around. However, the bathroom and common areas feel dated and could benefit from an upgrade to match the otherwise good setting.

Having breakfast included was a great help. We enjoyed the custom omelets made for us. The pool also had a hot jacuzzi, which was perfect for enjoying with the kids without getting too cold

I booked a standard room, but I think it was off-peak season because they upgraded me to a room with an ocean view, which I was thrilled about! The shower took a while to get hot, which was a bit of a struggle, but the room itself was spacious and perfect for a family trip, with a very convenient location and amenities
