If your room isn't on a high enough floor, you'll be facing the third-floor pool downstairs, and in the afternoons, the hotel blasts very loud, high-energy music, which is incredibly disruptive
The restaurants on property were very good and there are a couple other places one block away. The pool is not huge but of decent size, and it was clean
I stayed for several days in a row, and I wouldn't really recommend it. We had a balcony room with a partial ocean view, and the sea was quite beautiful on a nice day
However, the biggest issue with this hotel is how incredibly noisy it is due to the constant flow of people
The towels aren't as plush as those at Hytaa, and while housekeeping does come daily, it doesn't quite make up for the other issues
Location is good.
Rooms are clean. Wiew is very nice.
Swimmin pools are very small; not very affective.
Housekeepers very kind.
Luggage department very helpful.
Tour prices extemely high.

The soundproofing was quite poor; even though we weren't near the elevator, I could clearly hear people coming and going next door. The service was neither particularly good nor bad
Rooms were very clean and upscale. Free upgrade treated us to a ocean view room. Pets also allowed which is a big plus. Great location too. Highly recommended.
I booked a city view room, but it was on the side of the beach, so I could still see the ocean from the balcony. You could say it was a partial sea view
I got a King room with a city view on the 7th floor. The room was large, clean and one of the corners of the tower so it had a curving layout. Overall the room was clean, bed was comfortable, A/C was cold
The room was spacious, but the facilities were a bit old, though complete and clean. The location was convenient for getting around, and the view was lovely
I usually book with the Marriott down the street whenever I’m in Waikiki but I opted to try the Hyatt for the first time; it was also a little cheaper than the Marriott the day that I went

Always a great stay and option in Waikiki. This hotel suits all and there are a variety of rooms.
Awesome location and services. Everyone was friendly and facilities looked decent. It's a bit old but most hotels in Wakiki are somewhat outdated so we could actually compromise this part.
Safe for solo travelers. Easy walk to all major tourist areas. Great bars in surrounding areas.
Great location and reasonably priced compared to surrounding hotels.
Excellent friendly knowledgeable staff..!
However, only two elevators were operating, so waiting for one took a while

There's some kind of hook by the door, but how are you supposed to hang all your towels there? Also, for honeymoons, everyone usually gets welcome gifts and decorations. but after checking in, there was nothing
I almost slipped several times in the bathroom. And the towel rack is right above the toilet, so you can't even hang towels there
The pool is on floor 5 and has a really nice view, sadly the main area was closed from 2pm for a wedding. You could still use the pools and drink service though. The fish tacos were really tasty
The oceanfront room offered a truly beautiful view of Waikiki Beach. As soon as I entered the room, it smelled lovely, and the bathroom and toilet were very clean. The access was also excellent
We loved our stay! 🌴 The staff was very welcoming, and everything was perfectly arranged. The infinity pool with an ocean view was absolutely stunning, and the live music in the evening created such a magical vibe
Great staff—always willing to help. The lobby is really nice, with a beautiful aquarium and comfortable seating areas. The room is smaller compared to Hilton Hawaiian Village, but we loved the clean décor

I think I was a bit misled by the platform about the “private beach” as it actually refer to a very small area that the hotel renting some umbrella for their guest and make it as a “private area” instead of a real private beach
The hotel's location is excellent and very convenient. Getting around is also a breeze. Since this hotel just opened in 2025, the facilities are still in great condition.
The pool is small but the views are so stunning. The only thing I dislike was the towels on the pool chairs to make it known as it being “used” while nobody is near the chairs for hours. I wish there was a rule on this
Great breakfast but should have included in package. Naive about the daily resort charge which made it a very expensive stay, you’re not made aware until check out. Will be back but better prepared for hidden charges
The only things we didn't appreciate were that the pool beds were all occupied (with towels!) from 7 AM, making it impossible to find a bed next to the pool
Hotel staff very friendly, nice, maintained cleaned, lots of people coming and going. Pools close at 6pm
Feet away from actual beach. ocean water very WARM, FRESH feeling

We opted for a room in the more expensive Ocean Tower, which offered lovely views of the pool and a partial ocean view. It was great to have a free water and ice dispenser
They also offer a good number of their own activities where you can learn about Hawaiian culture. Every evening, there were different bands playing for three hours, creating an amazing atmosphere
At the front desk, one gentleman's attitude was a bit lukewarm, but all the ladies were very kind. The hotel is conveniently located close to both the beach and the city center
The restaurant downstairs is famous and delicious, though the tips were quite high. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and attentive
Next to the beach, Very good location to explore Waikīkī main tourist area. The staff is nice and welcoming.
Fantastic location, with a surf school right next door – super convenient!
Not only is the cost very reasonable you are extremely close to the beach! I chose the ocean view room for a few extra dollars more. Book ahead so you can get the good deals. I promise you won’t be disappointed
Very close to the beach, making it convenient for sightseeing and dining. You can see the sea from the elevator lobby on the guest floors, and enjoy a partial city and mountain view from the room
Let's start with the positives: The moment you walk in, you're greeted by a stunning ocean view, and I woke up to the beautiful beach every morning 🥰. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful 🫶
Services like parking and housekeeping were prompt. The breakfast buffet didn't have a huge variety, but the small garden outside the restaurant was lovely, and the dining environment was comfortable
Huge shoutout to Magdalena for being an amazing housekeeper and really doing such a good job everyday, as well as the two F&B director and manager who were conducting all the free Christmas classes, from poke bowl making to cocktail mixing and gingerbread house design
You can borrow a free surf board / beach chair and all, which is really useful considering the ridiculous prices for their rental at the beach! We stayed here for 11 nights and loved our stay

Our room was on the 15th floor, with a lovely partial view of the ocean. The bed was comfy, and we had a walk in shower. The pool on the third floor was not the greatest, but nonetheless it was a nice place to relax
The room was spotless and spacious, with a well-designed wet and dry separation in the bathroom. It was fully equipped with amenities like a microwave, kettle, and safe, which was incredibly convenient
The hotel's location is also fantastic – right downstairs there's a bus stop and a popular udon noodle shop. Across the street, you'll find Target and a shopping mall
We spent our days sightseeing and our evenings exploring the area, making it perfect for a relaxing vacation filled with shopping and dining
The hotel environment is great, and they offer free morning yoga. There's a swimming pool, and it's super convenient with a supermarket right across the street for dining and entertainment
Highly recommend this place, the location is super convenient! It's right across from the International Market Place, which has all sorts of shops and plenty of dining options

The service here is by far the best. The front desk staff took care of us the moment we arrived, but, it didn't stop there. Our room has a great view and the room is clean
It was pretty good. It really is a beachfront room with decent service. The only thing I remember about breakfast was the pancakes.
Great location, very close to the convention center and Waikiki is also not far. The soundproofing is excellent, and the price is very good value for money for Hawaii! The hotel's breakfast is also quite good.
The hotel has a parking lot, a small gym, and a swimming pool, all fully equipped. There's even a small microwave in the room, which is quite convenient for heating up food
The room is not bad but the towels are a little dirty. Don’t really like the small toilet but it’s not Squeeze actually. But overall, it’s a very good effort and decent hotel. For the price, I think it’s still worth it👍🏻
Holiday inn express was great near to the beach ! And to the food trucks the breakfast was great several choices very clean and friendly! They had tours available and luggage shortage ! They got us a taxi to the cruise port for 4 van reasonably priced ! I use the again !

The hotel offers a shuttle that will take you to different parts of Waikiki during the day. The gym is also open 24 hours which is a good way to work off all the delicious food you’ll be eating
I specially booked this hotel to watch the fireworks on Friday. The location is really a plus, and it is very close to the fireworks beach. The sea view room has a good view
Outside the window is the yacht dock, and there is the sea in the distance. Next to it is the Hilton Resort. The surrounding environment is very comfortable
Situated on the harbor, fantastic views from the hotel room! Restaurant had great food! And the hotel staff were very helpful, as were the cleaning staff (especially Sky and Marilyn)
There is also the largest outlet nearby, which is very convenient for eating and shopping. I am very satisfied with the overall experience
Very satisfied with this hotel. It's clean, conveniently located for shopping, and the infinity pool is stunning

The woman who leads that tour is a state treasure! So much aloha spirit and much information and facts about the hotel's history as well as the surrounding areas. It was a highlight of the trip!
Wonderful historic hotel right on Waikiki Beach
Everything was perfect, except the outside windows that haven't been cleaned for a while and which makes the room a bit darker :(
And the swimming pool is extremely small and not heated so mid-January I couldn't go in
Guests here can share space with the Sheraton Hotel, which is a nice bonus. It's a popular spot, so beach and
pool lounges can be tricky at times, but the staff will try to accommodate
There are shops and a private swimming pool right outside the hotel, which is very convenient. The valet parking staff were very nice
The place kind of felt more like a nursing home in that it was a bit old fashioned, but the engraved doors, beautiful room setup and professional attitude of the staff was a refreshing experience overall

It boasted stunning views of the city from the 30th floor. The suite consisted of two rooms and a kitchen with a large refrigerator and stove. It was practically like an apartment. I would happily stay here longer
The hotel offers parking for a fee, but you can park for free on the surrounding streets. As a gift, we were given shell beads and a card to rent a video from the vending machine downstairs
We stayed 4 nights but there was no house keeping service during our stay. But we could ask extra towels and toiletries when needed
Everything was great except for the really weak water pressure in the shower. The mountain view was amazing, and I spent a good amount of time chilling on the balcony with a coffee
Although I missed the time to watch the sunset at the beach, the problem was finally solved, and I appreciated the service of the front desk
I requested two beds when booking, but when I checked in, I was told that the hotel received a large bed

The infinity pool is absolutely amazing, we were lucky we could enjoy the tortoises from the infinity pool. Stayed 4 nights for thanksgiving, we would definitely go back to Sheraton Waikīkī Beach
Staff at House keeping, pool and restaurant are very friendly
Suggest everyone to pay more attention to the air conditioning in your room especially the machine noise, my aircon was extremely old accompanied by intolerable loud noise that literally woke me up at auto turn on ( energy saving mode)
I am totally fine with the lack of guest’s follow up or any notification that the problem is fixed but kudos to the engineer who fixed my aircon with confidence and assurance that make the rest of my holiday a fantastic one
Front desk sent technician and fixed the problem in one afternoon eventually they have to replace filter and machine drum , conveniently removed shower cap trapped inside. The repair process was smooth
I then realized this is not the norm from my sister’s room was perfectly fine

However, I'm not sure if I misunderstood, but I was told that room cleaning was daily. Yet, if I didn't specifically request room cleaning at the front desk in the morning, the room wouldn't be cleaned
Every staff member I encountered at the hotel was kind and friendly. I asked them numerous questions over my 7-night stay, and they always answered thoroughly and satisfactorily
When I inquired the morning after it wasn't cleaned, the answer was always that it was 'on the list. '
Aside from that, everything else was perfect
It was a wonderful environment where I could relax peacefully for my entire 7-night stay
But thanks to that, it was relatively affordable for Waikiki, so I was able to book an ocean view room! Although it is located on the outskirts of Waikiki, there is a Pink Line bus stop right in front of the hotel, which is convenient, and there is a breakwater right across the road to the beach, so you can swim in the shallow water safely
Hotel location was great. Older hotel but rooms were clean and comfortable. Balcony was small. Service was OK. Although valet parking was expensive at $60 per day, the valet service was very efficient.

You could leave your towel and luggage there, play in the pool, then play on the beach and then return to the pool empty-handed
Duke's staff are always wandering around the poolside checking for orders, so you can order from the menu on the spot. You can even drink alcohol while swimming in the pool. Floor rings are allowed in the pool
- The housekeeper always cleaned the room well, and there was no sand from the beach. - Plenty of towels and tissues. - The coffee machine, paper cups, and drinking glasses were always kept replenished
[Pool/Beach]
- You can go directly to the beach from the pool. There were plenty of beach chairs reserved for the hotel, so it was easy to find a spot
There's a water dispenser by the pool. [Overall Hotel]
The staff were friendly and helpful. The staff helped me with my luggage as soon as I arrived
Even though we had a city view room, we could still see Waikiki Beach clearly from our lanai! We also enjoyed some relaxing time by the poolside, which was right in front of the beach

Very few hiltons still make diamond members feel valued but at this hotel the opposite is true. Diamond status at this hotel still means something. A hidden gem in the hustle and bustle of waikiki
Our family are here celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and we were gifted a beautiful bottle of prosecco. Additionally, the team congratulated us throughout our stay and made us feel like real VIPs
So many great things to share about Ka La'i Waikiki. An amazing welcome from Ami and the team. We were made to feel like we were being welcomed home and nothing was too much trouble
Our front desk check in persons KATHY and Alex went above and beyond to make us feel welcomes and cared for. She got us checked in early and to a beautiful room
Arriving at hotel was a experience in customer service excellence. from valet to the front desk there was smiles and courtesy shown at highest levels
Our room is well appointed, large and clean with a luxurious bathroom and amazing Byredo amenities

Well located hotel close to Wakiki beach. Staff very helpful with lots of options for food and entertainment in the facility and close by. Room comfortable with the partial ocen views advertised and great sunsets
We will definitely be back again! And the location, needless to say, is absolutely perfect
The only downside was being told to come back at 3pm for checkin on arrival!
Surprising experience here! A high cost- performance hotel at the heart of Waikiki. Four main advantages: nice staff, convenient location, deposit free, and brand new room
My husband and I went on a trip to celebrate his 60th birthday
Close to the mall and the beach. The swimming pool is nice but really small. The only minus are windows and views

From check in to our sad check out this hotel has customer service and a luxurious ambience down. Our room was beautiful, opening up to a gorgeous courtyard, pool, and ocean view
I stayed one night because I knew I definitely wanted to stay here when I came to Hawaii. The view from the room, the hotel staff's attitude, and the service were all very satisfying
Had dinner in one of the ballrooms for a fundraising event. Dinner was great, service was excellent. Hotel is high class (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) with immaculate gardens and grounds. Restrooms are clean with bidet toilet seats
There were Japanese staff members on hand, so I felt at ease and was able to check in on things. I'd definitely like to stay here again
Absolutely everything. It was exceptional. The staff were so friendly and very helpful. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous and the pool area was beautiful. The restaurants and the pool food was amazing.
The view was great and the room was comfortable. It was also easily accessible, with plenty of things to do within walking distance, like going to see Cirque du Soleil and shopping, so I was able to fully enjoy Waikiki.

The room was just renovated with partial sea view. Excellent pool with jacuzzi. Good location- very close to everything. Much recommended
Basic hotel and basic amenities pool was in shade whole day we were there (Oct) good location to walk everywhere though
Oh, also the gym present on the premises was much more well equipped than I would've expected and should be enough for the typical gym rat to flex a little bit before going to the beach(not enough for a serious session ofc)
Everything is brand new. Very clean. Convenient location. Right next to many food options. A block away from the beach. Convenient parking. Nice staff. I will look to book here anytime I may come to Waikiki.
Renovation is great, but bathrooms are tiny! Only one can fit and it would have to be a thin person. Otherwise, the room is good, but walls are thin. There's also a charge for everything
For most of the stay this has been a normal, as good as expected, hotel. Last night, we realized that our transportation today would be more complicated than expected

This is our second time staying at this hotel. What we really enjoy is the private pool for hotel guest. Units also have washer and dryer. Convenient for families.
I loved the hotel, I was just wish the pools stayed open later! We didn't get to swim in the pools due to doing other things on the island, the pools close way to early, the pools were the reason I booked the stay and we didn't even get to experience them
It was perfect
Maybe have a separate trash bin in kitchen for plastic water bottles to recycle
We gave our extra food to the local unhoused (maybe provide guest with a telephone number to a local food pantry to leave unused packaged food)
It was a very pleasant trip. Our first time in Waikiki and definitely not our last. The only thing is that the bathroom door doesn’t close or lock.
The room was clean. Staff was responsive when we had an issue with one of the televisions. The ocean view was as expected (in a good way).
When we extended our stay at the hotel, they gave us the same room type, so we didn't have to pack our luggage and change rooms
