Although the building is old, having been in business for 60 years, the rooms have been thoroughly renovated and are clean and problem-free. Above all, the size is excellent. The pool is also nice. For this price and location, I am completely satisfied. There are not many Japanese guests, but I would recommend it for families.

The hotel rooms are old but that's not a problem.

You can always get a replacement beach towel or bath towel at the front desk.

The water server was only at the front desk, but it would be more convenient if it was available in other places.

I've been to Hawaii a few times, but this was my first time staying at the Ilikai Hotel. I'm used to being on the main street, so it was inconvenient. It's convenient for getting to the Ala Moana Center.

The receptionist was very kind. The reception area may be a little difficult to find.

The hotel is within walking distance to many shops and places to eat. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and very relaxing. The hotel has shops and a couple of eating places. The room had the typical amenities in it. The bed was super comfy. I was surprised that the pool was not bigger considering the size of the hotel but after walking by other hotels this seems to be the case at most of the ones I saw. Overall, it was a good place to stay, and I would stay there again.

I was worried after reading the reviews, but it was very comfortable.

The Hilton is across the street, so you can see the fireworks beautifully.
The room was clean. Since it is a condominium, there is a kitchen so I was able to do some simple cooking. There are pots and pans, salt and pepper, so if you have olive oil, you can cook meat.
There is a water server at the front desk, so it is convenient to have a 1.8 liter plastic bottle. It is also convenient for getting around because it is in front of the Pink Line and city bus stops.
The only disappointing thing is that there is no bathtub and the shower is fixed, so it is difficult to use.
I would like to stay here again if I come to Hawaii.

There was a water server at the front desk, which was helpful. There were sponges, dish soap, salt, pepper, and coffee in the kitchen. The front desk staff were very kind.

Gulab jamun was not fresh. Quantity per serving is low. They seem to be running low on staff. We had to wait about 30 minutes and and when finally asked, we realized that they actually forgot about our order.

Visited for dinner. It’s pricey, service and food isn’t worth it. Please note, they charge 18 percent gratuity as a default on your check.

We visit Bombay Palace about twice a month. I always get a vegetarian option while my husband goes for the meat, lamb is his favorite and he is English so he knows his curry. This is our favorite Indian restaurant on the island.
Service is good and you almost always get seated right away.
My only issue is that the spice level sometimes is low, we like medium and it occasionally comes mild instead. Either way it is always tasty. Highly recommended.
Plus parking in the garage is only $1 with validation.

Very disappointing, grilled shrimps was still cold inside and not grilled at all. Both salads, caprese and cole slaw must have been prepared in bulk, mushy and tasteless. Fries not crispy and also mushy.

The lobster tail, although mildly grilled was fantastic, soft and tasty.

Service was indifferent and slow

Maybe this was an off night or we got the wrong server, I took my son's out for dinner. The waiter continuously addressed my 14 year old son instead of me, maybe I look younger than I am or my son looks mature for his age but it was irritating. Our food was also very delayed but the manager adressed that which was great and she acknowledged me instead of my children... I chalk it up to an off night.

Good service. The drinks were good. Had an old fashioned and one of those tall fruity icy drinks. We went for the 4 course $20 meal set. It was good and filling. Shrimp was food perfectly. Enjoyed the chowder and salad. Dessert was a nice treat to bring home for later & of course we brought home some biscuits!

The waiter that we had was awesome. I can't remember her name, but just look for the tallest person there. She was very nice to our daughter and she had a great personality.
