Where to stay in Honolulu

I stayed for several days in a row, and I wouldn't really recommend it. We had a balcony room with a partial ocean view, and the sea was quite beautiful on a nice day. However, the biggest issue with this hotel is how incredibly noisy it is due to the constant flow of people. If your room isn't on a high enough floor, you'll be facing the third-floor pool downstairs, and in the afternoons, the hotel...

This is my 4th time in Hawaii, and my 3rd stay at this hotel. Overall, the experience has been great. The only minor issue is the noticeable noise when doors open and close, but all in all, it's a very good hotel.

The room was spacious, but the facilities were a bit old, though complete and clean. The location was convenient for getting around, and the view was lovely. The buffet was also great and met expectations, it was just very crowded!

Great value for money! It's close to the beach, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The room has been renovated and is quite clean. However, only two elevators were operating, so waiting for one took a while. Overall, I'd recommend it.

We had to change rooms three times. The first room we were given was right above the garbage disposal, and then they moved us to one facing a construction site, so I couldn't sleep all night because of the noise. They just moved us to a slightly better room, but it's right next to the AC unit. I have no idea how tonight will go. It feels like I came to Hawaii just to keep switching rooms!

The oceanfront room offered a truly beautiful view of Waikiki Beach. As soon as I entered the room, it smelled lovely, and the bathroom and toilet were very clean. The access was also excellent. I'd love to stay here again.

Went there for our honeymoon, and the partial ocean view was actually better than I expected! The room condition itself was all fine, but the bathroom was the worst! It's a dry bathroom, but there's no shower door or curtain in the shower stall, so it literally floods... I almost slipped several times in the bathroom. And the towel rack is right above the toilet, so you can't even hang towels there...

I've stayed at three hotels in Hawaii, and this one was the cleanest. The room size was a bit smaller compared to other hotels, but it was fine. Great staff—always willing to help. The lobby is really nice, with a beautiful aquarium and comfortable seating areas. Perfect location. Rooms clean and beds comfy. Great breakfast but should have included in package. Daily charge very expensive. The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient to get around. The front desk staff were very helpful, and check-in was quick. There are free activities available every day, and some paid excursions like island hopping. My only complaint is that it was a bit noisy at night.

Very close to the beach, making it convenient for sightseeing and dining. You can see the sea from the elevator lobby on the guest floors, and enjoy a partial city and mountain view from the room. Services like parking and housekeeping were prompt. The breakfast buffet didn't have a huge variety, but the small garden outside the restaurant was lovely, and the dining environment was comfortable.

Very satisfied with this hotel. It's clean, conveniently located for shopping, and the infinity pool is stunning. Unlike other resorts that are often packed with kids, this one is more suitable for adults, and perfect for business travelers or couples.

Wonderful historic hotel right on Waikiki Beach. Everything was perfect, except the outside windows that haven't been cleaned for a while and which makes the room a bit darker :( And the swimming pool is extremely small and not heated so mid-January I couldn't go in.

Very good! It is the most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in. Although it is not so luxurious, the people and environment here make you feel very comfortable. It is very suitable for vacation. The suite's sofa can be expanded into a large bed, and parking is $35 a day. It's only a few minutes' walk to the beach. There are many A, B, C stores nearby, so the price/performance ratio is good. The downside is that the shower water is quite small.

I booked this hotel because of the proximity to the beach, but the room was kind of gross and while the staff were very kind and friendly, I was overall impressed with the hotel. Didn’t feel clean. My husband and I went on a trip to celebrate his 60th birthday. We had only briefly mentioned our trip plans in our prior communication, and yet, they surprised us with a box of chocolates! I stayed one night because I knew I definitely wanted to stay here when I came to Hawaii. The view from the room, the hotel staff's attitude, and the service were all very satisfying. The best hotel on Waikiki Beach, with a great location and great service. I booked a room with two single beds. The sofa bed can also be opened into a single bed, which is suitable for families with children.

Renovation is great, but bathrooms are tiny! Only one can fit and it would have to be a thin person. Otherwise, the room is good, but walls are thin. There's also a charge for everything. The sofa bed was missing a comforter and pillow, which I noticed when I was trying to set it up at night. I contacted them via text message and they sent it to me, but it took more than 30 minutes. I wish they had prepared it properly.
