Where to stay in Ocean City

Beautiful Resort. We came for the weekend to just getaway. Traveled from NJ. We had a suite and was very big and spacious. Clean. Everyone was friendly. We would love to come back in the warmer months but might be a little more expensive. Overall great experience. We've stayed in a few places down in OC and this was by far our favorite.

Everything was wonderful room was much bigger and nicer than I expected

This resort is beautiful and huge. Parking was easy and accessible. The side view of the beach from our balcony was nice. The room was spacious and clean. I love that we had a full size refrigerator, a microwave, a 2 area cooking top, and a keurig coffee machine with pods in our room. There was an extra blanket in the room. We had a tv in our bedroom as well as the living room. The bathroom had facial...

The rooms were beautiful, the staff was nice, the location was great. I would defiantly stay there again.

Staff was amazing and accommodating, room was very clean, breakfast was good but expensive, I was on 1st floor could walk to beach but the view was not the best

The room was ok, the view spectacular but the kitchen of the room was terribly empty, not even salt. The bathroom was nice and everything worked, but there was no soap. The restaurant downstairs, in the first floor was ok, but the food was not of great quality (fake avocado mix, not very nice fresh fruit). Despite those things, we had a good time.

I’ve been to quite a lot of hotels; this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at! The front desk staff was so polite and friendly. Rooms were exceptionally clean!! The shower grout was even clean! If I could give 6 stars I would. Can not wait to stay here again!

Staff was very friendly and quick to respond to replacing a toaster. Highly recommend this hotel. Pool and hot tubs were great.

everything was fine, clean room, got a small kitchen and balcony as well. Plenty of towels

Clean room, with good amenities. Nice balcony and view Wish they would have informed me or put on listing that there was going to be construction going on, one day had to turn TV up quite a bit to hear it, another day couldn't open the slider to the balcony cause the construction noise was loud Pool and hot tubs were nice

Our room was very clean. I wish the staff had mentioned there was construction going on through out the hotel. Above our room, below our room.....not much fun.

Staff was friendly, room was clean , nice amenities, restaurant had good food. One drawback was I couldn’t get the room warm enough for me.

Spotless room, friendly staff. We only stayed one night, but would definitely book again at this location

We did not have breakfast onsite although it was available for purchase. We enjoyed the lattes! Ordered from the restaurant. Loved the view! Great room for a weekend getaway. Will return soon!

Didn’t have breakfast but ate dinner which was good Heating system noisy everything else good

Staff was always friendly. Pool was nice and warm and never crowded. Great place to stay in off season.

Clean, comfortable, great food, and wonderful staff. We go to Ocean City several times a year and we ALWAYS stay at Double Tree because it is consistently excellent!

Everything was excellent. Room was cleaned staff was polite and the view of the beach was awesome. Didn’t eat breakfast there.

We had an excellent view of the boardwalk, beachand the ocean. Everything was updated and clean.

We didn't have a view of the beach but the streets. Staff was amazing. Rooms could have been cleaner. Pool was not big and dirty.

Got better than what I expected for the price. Front desk ladies were happy & helpfully. Only thing that would be nice would be some type of dimmer lights for night, outlets near beds & softer beds. Will definately be staying here again! Full kitchen with full size fridge saved us $ not having to eat out. It's like a hotel sized condo.

Solid place..great location Great Location. It is a time share so you could be asked to change rooms and there aren't much ammenities but a little pool but the 2 minute walk to boardwalk on 1st street is crucial

Hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Great location and roof deck over the boardwalk. Murphy beds are great.

Boardwalk One was nice. My only complaint was the mattresses are horrible. I could feel the springs when I laid down on it. Other than that, loved the location, the water pressure and all appliances worked too.

The Quality Inn next door runs these villas. We love the QI and have frequented a handful of times. When you stay at their Villas, you have access to the Inn, which is a great perk. But this year we chose to stay at a Villa, being dog friendly, which is a plus! We were upstairs, Villa 3. These pictures on Google maps and on the Surf Villa website are dated…. When the Villas were new. They are def misleading...

It was a small cozy room. Perfect for a couple. You can see the ocean from the front porch. The manager was very welcoming and friendly. We had a great time.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms were so cute and cozy. The only down side was the bathroom in our room was a little bit hard to maneuver and wouldn't be the best for a person of larger stature other then that every thing was amazing. I loved the porch out front which provided a nice spot to sit and people watch. The gentleman working the front desk was very attentive and...

The place was quaint and homey. It is not the most upgraded property, but it was still a nice stay. Very nice staff. It was super close to everything you need and convenience of parking on the property. Everything was easy and clean.

At night my air didn’t work and the parking is not good you pay and have to park away from the location

Close to boardwalk but no parking so you have to pay 15 extra dollars a day to park in 8 car parking lot so limited spots

Super friendly staff. Extremely clean room and fantastic view. A walk in shower would be nice but also don’t want to give up the jacuzzi.

From the moment I checked in my entire stay was wonderful. Hotel staff knew it was my birthday week and had a cheese/fruit platter waiting in my room. They checked in to see if anything was needed and accommodated me with photo shoot of beautiful ocean. Can't wait to visit again!!!!!

Exceeded our expections in every way. The view from our room was amazing. We have found our new OC destination.

The outdoor pool was winterized so Ignore that rating. I usually give The Hilton 5 stars and I return every year, but I may not stay there again. The issues I had this visit are as follows: I was charged $10 per night for parking. Street parking a few steps further is free. Had I known, I would have parked in the street. I was never charged for parking before. Two jets on the spa tub were broken. There...

Check in/Check out was a quick seamless process. Room was clean, ocean front view was beautiful.

Our room was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The staff were very pleasant and took care of our needs. We would definitely stay here again.

Great view. Pet friendly. Convenient parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean hotel, in every area we were/walked through.

We stayed from Thursday Thanksgiving day to Sunday after Thanksgiving. The room was perfect. The people at the desk were very nice. Couldn’t ask for a better stay thank you.

We appreciated being allowed to check in early — thank you for that. However, the listing on ******* stated that parking was available but did not specify that it was paid parking. This felt misleading, and I don’t appreciate when important details are hidden or worded unclearly. Cleanliness also needs immediate improvement, as the current level fell short of expectations. In addition, the front desk...

The room was fine but it would have been nice to at least have 2 comfortable chairs to sit in -- we only had the 4 kitchen chairs. The day we checked out, sometime during the night we lost water pressure -- unable to flush, only a trickle from the faucets -- however they refunded us one night so all good. PS -- we were there 3 nights and our room was never cleaned, beds made or trash removed.

I loved both of my stays at the Commander! The staff was pleasant, helpful and friendly; the room was immaculate! The proximity to the beach, boardwalk and ocean made for a perfect stay. Thank you so much for making my time in Ocean City so enjoyable!

Front desk was very helpful with the questions I had. I would definitely stay here again!

Hotel is in a good location. It seems a bit dated and old but was clean and convenient.

Stellar service Location was great - close to everything. The property isn’t in great condition and the linens weren’t new (some stains), but it was functional for what we needed. The service though - exceptional. The owner, Anil, and Natasha went above and beyond to accommodate our late arrival and early departure times. Incredibly kind people. They made the whole stay worthwhile.

This well-located class C property is a good choice for solo and budget travelers. They have upgraded much recently, but have more to do. New plank flooring in the rooms & lobby. And the rooms do have mini fridges, mini microwaves, and a mini TV that no one will steal. The AC looks new, and I found the bed to be comfortable. The free wifi was good at my end. However, my bathroom didn't have even...

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews - we had a good stay. The room was recently renovated and while it wasn’t a 5 star stay, we knew what we were getting into - you get what you pay for. The room was clean on arrival, staff was nice, no odd smells, and we got what we needed, a simple stay. The location was excellent, right by the beach and all of the bars/restaurants that we wanted to go to...

Honestly, it's been lovely. We stayed 5 nights in the king bed room with AC, and had no complaints at all. Even with opting for no room service, as we brought our own sheets, we were able to get as many towels/amenities as needed. The pool is open until 21:00, and is fantastic to lay out by and people watch. The beach is MAYBE a 1 minute walk :))) cannot state how happy with the location we were. It...

Very nice. Nice people. Has a pool that's great. Smaller size room's. But great price and location is wonderful.

My stay was great! My suite was nice and fully equipped. The ocean view was wonderful. The pillows were heavenly. Will book here again.

This is home away from home. It has everything you need, just bring yourself. Staff is always wonderful. Rooms are always clean. Always thanks to the cleaning service staff for the great job they do.

My favorite place to stay in OC. Rooms are spacious, clean, great ocean view and friendly staff.

We love coming here in the fall and winter. It is our home away from home. Highly recommend the ocean view suites. Very clean and cozy.

Everything was good. The new parking permit was different. The check-in follow-up thru out the stay was nice!!

No complaints. Room was perfect; staff was courteous and friendly. We enjoyed our days at the Holiday Inn & Suites.

Staff was polite. Stayed here multiple times. Room is comfortable. Will stay again.

Staff were very hospitable and available. Rooms and common areas were clean and pleasant. Breakfast was always ready, well stocked with warm staff.

Great staff and clean room. Excellent location to Mall and restaurants. 2 minute drive to the Boardwalk.

Room was clean. Staff was very nice. Only negative was commotion outside of room at 1am from rowdy guest getting off elevator. Understandably that happens (we were first room off elevator). Otherwise would have been a perfect experience. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We were able to walk to the ice cream shop. Check in person was able to give us two rooms close to each other.

The room was clean along with the property. It is convenient to the boardwalk, shopping and restaurants.

Enjoyed my stay. Front desk staff were great, as usual. Room could definitely have been cleaner, but it's a perfect location for our purposes, and, unlike many of the hotels lately, in Ocean City, MD, the parking is free!!! Honestly, parking for one car should be a given (part of the room price). It's a resort town, why would you stay there for a week's vacation if you have to pay a parking fee...

Did not have Ocean view and was looking for a budget friendly place during a packed weekend. Then moved or a few days to a boardwalk location with ocean front during the week.

Everyone was so friendly. Our eoom wa ass cleaned every morning after we left dor breakfast. Great location, quiet, awesome views.

For being a bit of an older looking place, it was very comfortable, clean, staff were nice. Ample parking. Plenty to do nearby. Beaches were nice. Very pleased. Would stay again.

This hotel is perfectly located right in the middle of tons of shops and restaurants. Many of which are in walking distance. The room was very clean and even had a full sized refrigerator and small stove. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely be staying again next time we are in town.

Room was clean. The staff was polite. No bells and whistles, the rooms are outdated. Decent size room for the price.

We stayed from 8/21-8/23 and the staff was awesome. Ben (I dont know if hes a owner or employee) was so extremely kind and a really nice guy to talk too, you can tell that he really cares about everything around him including the hotel. rooms are clean and smell nice and everybody staying was kind as well. Rates are 50-100 cheaper then every other hotel so I’ll definitely be booking again. Thank you...

Crystal Sands motel was great! The staff is friendly from check in to check out. Nice and quiet area. We rented the family room and it was nice having the option of making a quick breakfast before the beach. It is conveniently located a block from the beach, Starbucks is across the street and CVS is a block directly behind the motel. Within a few blocks of mini golf!

Crystal sands was awesome! The staff were so friendly, they let us check into the hotel hours earlier than 3pm, were very accommodating and always available for any questions, offered free WiFi, and even let us use their extra parking lot hours after checkout so we could stay at the beach that day! The rooms were very clean and there were always people keeping it looking clean inside and outside.

Front desk guy was very nice! He was able to let us check in early and park which gave us an extra day at the beach. Rooms are a bit dated but clean. The shower has good water pressure and was always warm. They have an outdoor shower and hose too. They were very nice when needing extra toiletries. We would stay here again for a quick weekend.

The Crystal Sands was great! We booked last minute and they were very accommodating. The rooms seemed newly renovated and were very clean. Great location close to the boardwalk but not in a “rowdy” part of town. The motel was very orderly and the man at the front desk was very helpful. The free parking was also great. We had a great stay!

A lovely stay all the way around. Clean rooms. Very friendly and accommodating.

The staff was so helpful and made sure we had plenty of towels. They even let us check in early since we arrived in town before our checkout time. Great location, and very clean.

There was a weird smell the whole time I stayed and wasn’t

The hotel was alright. The only thing i had to complain about was we had a Roku TV and didnot have a working remote for it. Other rooms had cable and our room didnot.

Check in quick, staff very polite. Room was clean but super small, looks like a studio. One full bed no 2 queens as pictures. One night stayed ok

Clean, spacious room with a king size bed. Very clean and friendly staff. Only one block from the boardwalk. Would stay here again.

This property is in the Motel 6 class of decent enough. The Cons: moldy bathmat, hair in bedsheets, really tatty bathroom curtain, pretty weak sheets, wobbly shower head, cleanser residue on tiles in shower. Pros: Nice location. nocarpet - a germ-resistant wood floor, micro/fridge/tv all good and operational.

This hotel is not a chain hotel, it’s a quaint mom and pop style hotel. It had comfortable beds, easy parking, working internet, cable and a hot shower. What really made our stay phenomenal was the staff. The cleaning service lady was the kindest person with a smile on her face every morning. Robbin, at the front desk was awesome. We loved chatting with her every morning while getting coffee. She was...

I really enjoyed the staff and location!! It was close to beach access. Great food establishments were within walking distance.

Small rooms but it did its job..very nice staff..

It was definitely affordable. But I absolutely enjoyed myself. Worth every single penny. Right down the street from the boardwalk. And you got stores and shops and everything you could possibly need within walking distance. Staff was helpful and extremely friendly. Parking was a little bit of an issue. But other than that it was perfect for the price

I cannot describe how much the Sun n fun motel made senior week amazing for my friends and me! The motel definitely exceeded my expectations! The rooms were extremely clean and tidy and smelt great. And the maid, Theresa, was also very kind to us during our stay. If we needed any supplies, she would get it for us. It is a great location as it is near great restaurants and is a block away from the beach...

Me and my wife and daughter loved it.Great location, jolly rogers is not even a football field away,Coins was a great dining spot and it's even closer than jolly rogers.Room was comfortable enough.Chad was super helpful. We will be going back in the future.

Rooms are nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. TV was in an odd place to watch from the bed. Shower was clean and easy to get in and out of. Vending machines, ice maker and coffee maker would make it better. 3:30 pm check in is a bit of a pain. Especially when check out is 11:00am. But 2 blocks to the beach is nice.

I have no idea what these bad reviews are, this place was perfect! (For what I was willing to pay for, obviously) Me and three other friends booked the last weekend of summer vacation about three days before going, this was the cheapest place in town, so we were apprehensive. We couldn’t be more mistaken. We were looking for a cheap option to just sleep for two nights, and that’s what we got. Room...

We had fun, & the place is a decent lower end hotel!!! It's just the min you take your shoes off it feels like they don't ever sweep away from the guest before. It was gross. If you can look over that until you go to the beach and just think it's yours!!!

On our arrival, we were a little apprehensive as the Motel looked very run down and could do with some updates. The gentleman at reception was friendly and accommodating. Our room was not as bad as we had expected as you get what you pay for. It was clean. There was a fridge, and microwave, no tea or coffee available but it was ok as we went out for breakfast close by. No hangers to hang your clothes...

I like the hotel a lot. The only reason they are receiving 3 stars is because they had no shampoo and conditioner. Grrrrr. Even when I asked for it. Also are sheets were a little dirty not to happy about that. Exactly why I always bring a extra. No one was at the front desk to call for new sheets. A litter annoying. Other then that wonderful people and an amazing location next to lots of good stuff

We were on the 3rd floor at the end of the hall. There was a nice view of the bay. The room was small, but comfy. The best thing about it is the fact that it's only 2 blocks from the boardwalk. Not a bad price for being conveniently close to the boardwalk, at around 22nd st. The staff was wonderful as well! Very pleasant and helpful! I'll definitely come back.
