New York, 85 West Street at, Albany St, Manhattan (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
It takes some time to walk to the subway. The hotel has 4–5 steps at the entrance, and we had to carry our heavy luggage by ourselves. There is a service lift, but it was locked and not available for use.
Facilities: Pretty good, relatively new.
Cleanliness: Decent.
Service: Average. We requested a double bed, but the hotel wouldn't let us change it in advance; we had to wait until we arrived to do so.
Environment: The location is alright, but not as good as the Marquis.
Flight got delayed and when we arrived, the room we booked was not available. The hotel was nice enough to upgrade us to a suite on the highest floor and overlooking the hudson river. View was fantastic. Room was spacious but just a bit dusty in some corners. Overall, a nice experience.
It is in a good location in Downtown. Starbuck is plus and their tickets to attraction points are great. We choose Mercer Labs.
Marriott hotels are always our top choice when traveling. The location is excellent; we could see the Statue of Liberty from our room. It's super convenient to the subway station, and there are many restaurant options nearby. All in all, we were very satisfied.
The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation, making it easy to get around. There are many restaurants nearby, each with its own unique flair. Wall Street, the Statue of Liberty ferry terminal, and the World Trade Center are all within easy walking distance.

Great location, you can walk to everything. The room was spacious and well-equipped. Overall, a very good experience.
We loved the room. Fred at the front desk was very friendly. He arranged us to a room with the view of the Times Square which we loved! The view was gorgeous. This hotel made me feel valued as a customer . Fred is really the best! The breakfast was very delicious. We enjoyed it a lot!
10/10!
We felt very comfortable. Home during the vacation, attentive service, colleagues. The receptionist's incredible kindness and attentiveness. We have been 4 times, we will definitely choose them, Brodi family!
This is our 4th time, and surely we’ll come back
Service was great and room amenities excellent. Room was spacious and decor was current and modern.
I'm so glad I chose this Conrad location. The staff were very sweet and helpful. I didn't spend much time at the actual hotel very much & I only ordered room service once. However, I can't wait to stay there again.

I really like Manhattan, so I feel bad giving this hotel a low rating. However, it seems like they've divided too many rooms to maximize profits, making the hallways extremely narrow. The soundproofing between rooms is non-existent; I could clearly hear normal everyday sounds from the next room, like people chatting or using the restroom. The hotel seems to do good business, even accommodating airline...
Excellent location, great view, nice terrace.
it was great to visit new york city. location was great but far from downtown manhattan, but you can easily get to there by metro next to the hotel. room was clean, easy check in easy check out
I do love this hotel so much! It’s extremely comfortable and it’s a great location
The hotel is pretty nice, small but definitely everything you need.
The only problem we found out was that we had to pay for a “facilities fee” which i believe trip.com needs to include in the rate of the hotel or it seems deceiving the rates.
we were staying there for 3 nights for christmast 2024, the front desk was really good and helpfull but did not supported with their room service.
every morning i asked them to clean the room, but nothing.. no one taking care and come to room
for cleaning. i reminded all the time the fron desk, but was still the same,
with the expensive rate in chirstmas, this hotel is offer standard budget hotel...

Great stay. Staff is helpful.Nearby around downtown area.
Nice view with world trade centre.
Easy to reach to wall street .Brooklyn Bridge.
Nice to come again.
The room is quite spacious, but the downside is that the soundproofing is not good. There is a lot of noise when people come in and out. The room is not cleaned every day, but once every three days. If you need to change towels every day, or a full clean every day, you need to tell the front desk in advance. The service is not bad. There is coffee and sparkling water delivered to the lobby on the first...
The service is really average. I had to ask the hotel for toothbrushes and slippers, and they were not delivered after waiting for a long time...
There are many facilities that you need to ask for before you can use them.
It should be said that this is a very ordinary hotel. Parking is charged, and it is not downstairs of the hotel. You have to go to the surrounding parking lot. It is recommended not to drive. Because there is a subway nearby, it is more convenient. In the city center, living facilities are more convenient, and there are rich restaurant choices. The room I originally chose was with a sofa bed, but I...

Everything was PERFECT. This is incredibly rare, but I have no complaints. This hotel really gets the guest experience and how to take care of their elites. Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your resort. This web site will compare hundreds of booking websites and typically will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! We stayed here for 5 nights in July 2022 for a family vacation.
The Good:
The location - The highlight to us was the location. We werent sure how great it'd be since it's in the downtown, away from some of the things we wanted to do, but it's proximity to the subway lines was fantastic. Such a close and easy walk to 4-5 different subway lines and then you could go anywhere. Just grab a metrocard and...
We were not guests of the hotel but we were in trouble because we were desperately looking For a cab. We asked to the receptionist and she kindly get us a cab. Very kind and helpful gesture!
This hotel will wow you before you leave, as long as you stay away from the restaurant (more to come on that). Let's start off with saying after traveling what an amazing place to arrive to. The check in was a breeze. You do pay a $25 destination fee each day but don't worry because you will get your money's worth. You can spend $25 every day on food and beverages, get access to the Big Bus tour downtown...

The room is spacious and clean. It’s definitely worth it for the price, especially it's located in the Manhattan.
The hotel in a good location, but I think they really need to work to add some amenities to the room (like coffee machine and trash ban to a bathroom
**** stain on the toilet as we walked in, door doesnt lock. Have to slam the front door for it to close. Lift got stuck every single day
The views are amazing, and the location is excellent. Downstairs, you'll find the 1 train, which takes about 30 minutes to Times Square. The Statue of Liberty, Wall Street, and the Charging Bull are all within walking distance. I highly recommend it.
I can accept that you don't provide the brush abd tooth paste, but what the hell you don't provide slipper ??? == this made me a lot of inconvenient
It was just a well decorated room. We had a great view. No kettle, no complementary water, luggage storage was with a fee. Changing elevators was also not something you'd look for.

The sofa bed was very convenient for traveling with kids, though the room was a bit small.
The hotel is located in an upscale area of New York, which adds to its charm.
One of the best features is the convenience – as soon as you step out of the hotel door, you find Subway Line 1 right there.
Highly recommended for those who value both comfort and accessibility
Clean and hygienic, quiet and comfortable.
We had a great time during our stay the staff are very friendly and accommodating. ☺️
Good location, subway in 1 mim. The room is clean. But some noise at night and I didn’t sleep well

The hotel's location is excellent. Turn right out of the hotel and you're at the Charging Bull; turn left and you're at the New York Stock Exchange. I chose the Hotel Indigo in New York because I had stayed at the same brand in Dali. While it wasn't as comfortable as the one in Dali, I was still very satisfied! 👍
Room was small, did not provide water bottles had to go down to the concierge to refill or buy from whole foods-7-11. Our Tv broke down half way but luckily the hotel managed to fix it within a few hours.
To boil hot water had to go down to the concierge to do so. No amenities were provided. It is just a place to sleep.

The hotel's location is good, but the rooms are a bit small. The front desk staff were okay, but the bar was pretty average. They don't provide bottled water, but it's very close to Whole Foods and other stores.
Good location, with convenient transportation. The room is very clean. The staff are very amicable and helpful, and I would like to give special thanks to Vanessa.
The room was clean and conveniently located near Wall Street and the 9/11 Memorial. The front desk staff were easy to communicate with. I bought my tickets a few days before my trip, and the price was decent for Manhattan. The elevator was a normal speed to the 12th floor. My room had a view of Trinity Church.
It's a super tiny hotel and the room isn't big enough for 2 people, although the bed was super comfortable and very clean!
I would walk to the 5th avenue in 30 mins, just walking straight and it was very beautiful

No frills stay. Close to the subway station + quick ride to manhattan and a 24/7 grocery across the street.
While the overall stay was very good, we had numerous problems. For one, our connection with WIFI was spotty at best (passwords changed by the day and finally wouldn't work for our iPads but ok for laptop). Another, the TV was hard to operate (the screen said "no guest checked in - and we could not get to Guide); the phone connection to the front desk didn't work and we had to use Operate to get someone...
We stayed one night. The bed was comfortable and both the room and bath were nice. The A/C did not work and the toilet was plugged when we arrived but the problems were fixed quickly.
The only 2 things I had an issue with:
1. I waited on line to check-in for about 20-25 mins because there was some kind of technical issues happening with the front desk computer. The man behind the counter did not acknowledge the line or explain what was happening or how long it would be before we can check in.
2. The bottles in the shower for body wash, shampoo and conditioner were completely missing...
I grew up in Sunset Park but moved out of state years ago. This hotel was perfect—close to my old neighborhood, allowing me to visit family, park easily, and walk everywhere. Everything was spotless, the room was fresh, and I’ll definitely be back in April! Can’t wait to try the smoothies and get there early enough for the entrées!

The Holland Hotel is perfectly located at the mouth of the Holland Tunnel, which is probably why it is so expensive for a place that is aged, has no elevator and offers a small continental breakfast as a selling point. It was alright, quite clean, but the room I got had a bad view/orientation.
No elevator, had to carry luggage up the stairs.
Impeccable service, relatively quiet location, but you have to walk to reach the PATH subway.

Fun, unique hotel. DEFINITELY NOT for everyone. The rooms are small, there's a terrace outside that plays music until late at night, the towels are scarce, etc. However, the retro vibe is a blast, the beds are comfy, it has a very convenient kitchenette, the location is great and the terrace was incredibly fun. I would stay here again but make sure to pack an additional towel.
Great place to stay, had a really nice time! Within walking distance to a lot of things. Has a market across the street and a Whole foods a couple blocks down, paired with a simple but capable kitchen this is incredible! Rate was very fair and hotel was clean and updated. Walls are thin just as other reviewers have mentioned so as long as you have respectable neighbors your fine. Our first night we...
Practical and inexpensive.
We stayed there for one night. The room is for 2 people maximum - literally. There is only one bed and they don't provide any cots (but they're OK if you bring your air mattress to sleep up to 4). The floors are bare cement (very uneven - not that it matters, they are clean and that's all I care about, but it's kind of funny). Rooms are clean, the hotel smells like bleach...
Had a great stay here. Downtown neighbourhood is very quiet at night. Our room felt massive (by NYC standards). Loved having the little kitchenette and a balcony. Multiple subways are very close and there's a great corner store and restaurant right outside and across the street.

I highly recommend this hotel.
Very convenient and the stuff are very helpful
We arrived early and negotiated with the front desk several times to see if we could check in early. We also expressed our willingness to pay the extra fee, but we ultimately checked in at 2 pm. There was discarded lunch in the waiting area at the front desk, which attracted a few flies and was a poor sight. It wasn't a particularly pleasant trip.
The room was nice, the service was good, the breakfast wasn't great, but the nutrition and variety were adequate. There were enough parking spaces, but the road in front of the door was very busy and often congested.
The overall hotel experience was acceptable. The location is convenient, transportation is decent, and getting around is reasonably easy. The check-in process was smooth, with decent front desk service and a reasonable processing speed. The room was a good size and equipped with basic amenities, meeting most daily needs. This hotel has grown on us. To be honest this was not our first choice. There are a few items that this hotel does not offer that are musts for our full week stay. Also they have no food items or odds and ends...
It’s not in a fancy area, but wow, it has really clean, nice-sized rooms, with a gorgeous recently redone bathroom. And best of all, if you like a little adventure, just a short walk away you can catch an unofficial bus to NYC (Port Authority) for only $3.50 (cash only), that all the locals use. They come every few minutes, and take about 30 minutes to get to the Port Authority. They stop at all the...

We had a great experience there, good location and easy to get around from there. The hotel was clean, quiet and the staff were friendly.
There is room to improve on the breakfast though
Say if you are looking for a keep it simple with a homely feel....then I say Wyndham. I loved the experience. I stayed in room 358. It was over looking the buildings at the back end. Also, the restaurant too had a friendly welcoming feel to it. I was traveling to Cleveland via New Jersey and I was lodged for a night there. Try it.
Room was nice and roomy, but they forgot to clean the shower. We were here due to overbooking on airline. We were in a hurry to catch our flight and I showered in the morning. Well, there was hair in the drain and shampoo slipped and dried on the wall. It could use some mildew cleaner and a scrub brush on the lower half. The rooms are big. I don’t always have a room with a Manhattan view but I’d defiantly pay extra for that if I could.

Pros and cons of this hotel
Pros
Close to holland tunnel and within 10 minutes from the exchange place, journal square and within 5 minutes from Newport mall.
Clean and well kept like a respectable IHG property.. very well maintains the Holiday Inn brand logo
Breakfast spread is good but easily runs out of key food items by 9am on a weekend.
Cons
