Great hotel with, good location, next to no amenities.
The room and bed were nice clean and cozy. Would stay there again.
Location is great for walking and discovering great restaurants and shopping in the areas.
It was really a pleasure to stay at the hotel. The whole staff makes you feel appreciated (they gift you vouchers), they assist you super friendly and help with all the questions you may have. Although we only spent one night there, we felt very welcomed and would definitely repeat. Special thanks to Loren
Love the free hop on hop off bus tickets and usd15 voucher providedby the hotel. As for the usd15 voucher to be used in gift shop, not much stock left in the store.
Good location, clean with decent view. Elevators can get busy so that’s one think you should keep in mind.
the location was nice and convenient. Overall, it was a nice stay.

Service was great and room amenities excellent. Room was spacious and decor was current and modern.
I'm so glad I chose this Conrad location. The staff were very sweet and helpful. I didn't spend much time at the actual hotel very much & I only ordered room service once. However, I can't wait to stay there again.
The service was really nice at Conrad. Everyone was very friendly here. The place was quiet and organized which makes us feel composed and comfortable staying. To be honest we were surprised by how well the hotel is maintained since it was built for a while. The whole interior design is absolutely stunning and elegant. I would suggest they upgrade their hair dryer tho.
We absolutely loved our stay! We finally found a hotel and area in New York City that we enjoyed and look forward to returning. The location was great, easy access to the metro, you can run along the water and steps away from numerous amazing restaurants and cafes. Everything was PERFECT. This is incredibly rare, but I have no complaints. This hotel really gets the guest experience and how to take care of their elites. Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your resort. This web site will compare hundreds of booking websites and typically will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of my favorites in the area. I've been coming here for years. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't regret it.
Attended a conference. The service was wonderful. The food for the two...
We stayed here for 5 nights in July 2022 for a family vacation.
The Good:
The location - The highlight to us was the location. We werent sure how great it'd be since it's in the downtown, away from some of the things we wanted to do, but it's proximity to the subway lines was fantastic. Such a close and easy walk to 4-5 different subway lines and then you could go anywhere. Just grab a metrocard and...
We were not guests of the hotel but we were in trouble because we were desperately looking For a cab. We asked to the receptionist and she kindly get us a cab. Very kind and helpful gesture!
This hotel will wow you before you leave, as long as you stay away from the restaurant (more to come on that). Let's start off with saying after traveling what an amazing place to arrive to. The check in was a breeze. You do pay a $25 destination fee each day but don't worry because you will get your money's worth. You can spend $25 every day on food and beverages, get access to the Big Bus tour downtown...

Very nice, there is a kitchen!
It is very convenient because it is close to the subway station. However, I still didn't understand the path until the end, and I had to ask for help from kind people every time.
The man who checked in was very polite, but the lady who took the luggage when I checked out was very rude... Because the luggage was stored on the first floor, and there was no service staff on the first floor, when we went...
Hotel with a magnificent view of the skyline!
Very generous breakfast, perfect rooftop dinner!
Friendly service, great room view
The hotel conveniently located next to PATH train which connects to lower Manhattan area. The position also very nice as you can enjoy the Manhattan skyline as soon as you exit the hotel. Staff very friendly & accommodating. The room simple but clean, bed also comfortable. Breakfast included with the room which is a plus! Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a budget stay.
If you are traveling with children, remember to let them know to prepare the bed. Breakfast can be very crowded, unfortunately little variety of choice. Very convenient location just steps from the Path and close to many places. Fantastic view of the New York skyline.

I do love this hotel so much! It’s extremely comfortable and it’s a great location
The hotel is pretty nice, small but definitely everything you need.
The only problem we found out was that we had to pay for a “facilities fee” which i believe trip.com needs to include in the rate of the hotel or it seems deceiving the rates.
we were staying there for 3 nights for christmast 2024, the front desk was really good and helpfull but did not supported with their room service.
every morning i asked them to clean the room, but nothing.. no one taking care and come to room
for cleaning. i reminded all the time the fron desk, but was still the same,
with the expensive rate in chirstmas, this hotel is offer standard budget hotel...
Coffee and tea provided and place for office working is excellent!!
Very near the 9/11 Memorial and several subway stations.
Room size was okay - for New York.
Free purified water (with bottles) on all floors, and complimentary coffee and tea near the lobby.
One negative feedback - the walls are quite thin. Could hear what the room next door was “watching on TV” and they were also loud at times.
Other than that, it was a really good stay there.

The location was super amazing. The room had a great view, and bed was very comfortable. Staff at the reception were quite helpful, but the manager not at all. They were doing construction work above my room at 08:00 in the morning, and the manager didn't seem to care that much, even after i called the noise continued until they finished the work.
Hotel rooms need some work are starting to show their age, even just a bit of paint and some light maintenance and deep cleaning would probably be enough. Otherwise pretty decent for a NY hotel rooms are a good size, nice views and staff is friendly for NY.
It was a very welcoming hotel, with it being close to all the attractions and even better getting around was even easier
Very Good Location Best view ever.
Nice view of world trade centre, close to a few subway stations, rooms are decent but lack maintenance.
The location of the hotel is great and the room is clean and big enough.

The hotel is located in an upscale area of New York, which adds to its charm.
One of the best features is the convenience – as soon as you step out of the hotel door, you find Subway Line 1 right there.
Highly recommended for those who value both comfort and accessibility
We had a great time during our stay the staff are very friendly and accommodating. ☺️
Good location, subway in 1 mim. The room is clean. But some noise at night and I didn’t sleep well
Clean and new! Very comfortable stay. Location is close to the subway but the vibes around the place are a bit underground gangsta chill 🌆
It was a pretty good place for a single night stay in NY. I wish it had a dental kit (toothbrush and toothpaste) but otherwise, it was a no-drama stay.
This hotel is cheaper than others in NYC.
Staff was kind and room was clean, so I was totally satisfied. But there were some problem.
It didn't clean up my room. And also amenities was not good for this price. Location is a bit far from Times Square.

I’m airline crew and we stay here regularly. The staff really is amazing, super sweet and caring.
The rooms are big. I don’t always have a room with a Manhattan view but I’d defiantly pay extra for that if I could.
Getting into Manhattan is easy- a short walk to the PATH train and one stop to vibrant West Village (one of my favourite areas in Manhattan).
Booked two rooms, checked in at 4:00, but only one was available, the other one had not been cleaned yet and had to wait until 5:00. The front desk service attitude is very poor, they only said that the room can be available if it is cleaned as soon as possible. After checking into the room, there was no toothpaste, toothbrush or slippers, so you had to ask at the front desk. On the second and third...
I stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Jersey City for five days, and it was such a great trip! I got to the hotel pretty late, but the lady at the front desk was super friendly and welcoming, which made me feel right at home. She was so nice, and it really helped me unwind after a long day. I recently made a reservation directly with the hotel and spoke with Austin (manager), who was incredibly accommodating. Austin took the time to discuss room features in detail and made sure everything met our expectations. He also kindly allowed me to check in early at...
The room is big and cleaned every day. It's not good to ask for tip for breakfast since the room price includes breakfast.
Somehow convenient location near the light rail station and within walking distance from the PATH station. The establishment is not a fancy new one but good enough to stay for a short time. Surprisingly Hilton decided their free waters are only for silver members (and tiers above), guess time to say goodbye to Hilton.

The room is quite spacious, but the downside is that the soundproofing is not good. There is a lot of noise when people come in and out. The room is not cleaned every day, but once every three days. If you need to change towels every day, or a full clean every day, you need to tell the front desk in advance. The service is not bad. There is coffee and sparkling water delivered to the lobby on the first...
The service is really average. I had to ask the hotel for toothbrushes and slippers, and they were not delivered after waiting for a long time...
There are many facilities that you need to ask for before you can use them.
It should be said that this is a very ordinary hotel. Parking is charged, and it is not downstairs of the hotel. You have to go to the surrounding parking lot. It is recommended not to drive. Because there is a subway nearby, it is more convenient. In the city center, living facilities are more convenient, and there are rich restaurant choices. Highly recommend! Convenient and courteous /attentive staff. Best hotel stay I’ve had in a long time.
The only negative thing I can say about this hotel is the parking garage. It's not right next door but a block away because there a large building in between them. You have to pay $30.00 for overnight parking & every time you take your vehicle out you must pay an additional hourly rate which can add up. Otherwise everything was excellent.
The location, the price, the staff, even the room were superb. Fantastic breakfast. The bar is open Tues-Saturday and had a quite outside area with a fire pit. Devon saved the wedding we were attending by printing out the mother of the bride speech for my friend for me. Emmanuel was great too. The Rooms are small! It did not help that we were long stay customers and the space was quite cramped. That is the biggest drawback. That is something that you need to be aware of. Rooms were old but always clean and great for a short stay to visit NYC. Only real problem: The heating was activated automatically (depending on the outside temperature) and you couldn't turn it down. We stayed one night. The bed was comfortable and both the room and bath were nice. The A/C did not work and the toilet was plugged when we arrived but the problems were fixed quickly.
The only 2 things I had an issue with:
1. I waited on line to check-in for about 20-25 mins because there was some kind of technical issues happening with the front desk computer. The man behind the counter did not acknowledge the line or explain what was happening or how long it would be before we can check in.

Fun, unique hotel. DEFINITELY NOT for everyone. The rooms are small, there's a terrace outside that plays music until late at night, the towels are scarce, etc. However, the retro vibe is a blast, the beds are comfy, it has a very convenient kitchenette, the location is great and the terrace was incredibly fun. I would stay here again but make sure to pack an additional towel.
Great place to stay, had a really nice time! Within walking distance to a lot of things. We stayed there for one night. The room is for 2 people maximum - literally. There is only one bed and they don't provide any cots (but they're OK if you bring your air mattress to sleep up to 4). Had a great stay here. Downtown neighbourhood is very quiet at night. Our room felt massive (by NYC standards). Loved having the little kitchenette and a balcony. Multiple subways are very close and there's a great corner store and restaurant right outside and across the street.

For our various visit in NYC and within 25 km to the west in NJ the apartments and parking availability makes Candlewood a great place. We have stayed here 5 times over 3 years and will come again. We recommend the top floor east apartment facing Hudson river.
I stay here when in NY for work. The rooms are always clean and have their own kitchen area which I like. It’s easy to get to from Manhattan by Path or ferry at Paulus Hook. It’s definitely pretty basic accommodation and you can tell as soon as you enter the reception area, nothing fancy here if people are used to higher end hotels.
A nice hotel to stay if you are looking to cook your food as it has a nice kitchen. It is located at the perfect spot in the city which gets you closer to train, mall and waterfront.
