DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Jersey City in Jersey City

Had takeout and the food was terrible and expensive. The spaghetti with meatball was too salty and bland, the fettuccine alfredo was too bland, and the chicken marsala was disgusting and not edible because the chicken smelled gamey. Cannot believe the positive reviews for this place. Maybe this is considered acceptable food in Jersey? Never again.

Very rude waiter and I am not sure why he was behaving like he is busy and no time to explain about the food and we asked about the ingredient as my friend is a purely vegetarian.

Came in for brunch. The food is on a scale of 4 out of 10. It’s too dark in the environment. Not enough lighting. And to charge for $20 for entrance, that doesn’t include brunch itself and they don’t have unlimited mimosa. Wouldn’t recommend VB3 for brunch. A lot of better alternatives.

It is ok at best. Though I found nothing particularly bad about the place, from my experience, it's just ordinary. I was offered a special iced tea with no sugar which was great. Two weeks later I asked for the same iced tea at the same Chilly's and my server had no idea what I was talking about.
If you are hungry and have no more options then Chilly's the place to go...

For starters, the appetizers coupled with drinks were decent so I got my hopes up for a satisfying meal. What we ended up being served as our main course was nothing short of repulsive. I ordered one of the burgers thinking that it would be a safe meal. After taking just one bite it was obvious that something was horribly wrong. I opened up my burger to see that not only was everything covered in a layer of grease but the patty was practically rubber and the bacon looked as if it had melted into the bun and the cheese [pic].

My friend had gotten a fajita which came with a side of rice and beans. The beans were watery as if they had been cooked, frozen, then microwaved before serving. The rice, although well seasoned, tasted like it had been sitting in a fridge next to rotting meat and produce for a couple of weeks. To give a sense of what it tasted like, imagine if you could taste what an old folks home smelled like.

Although I could probably criticize other aspects of the meal my friends and I were served, the blaring issues I tasted seem like a hazard. There is something extremely wrong going on in that kitchen and the only person I hope goes there is a health inspector. I honestly hope that this was a rare one-time occurrence but either way I will not be dining here again.
