While the first experience was great, last night the hat in the bedroom portion didn't work correctly. The shower in that room floods the floor even with the door closed. When I told the staff about the heating issue, they seemed not to care.

Rooms are great, but the furniture is starting to show aging. Staff is usually excellent, but the front desk staff were not very friendly on departure.

Hotel extremely clean. Warm and welcoming. Staff were all accommodating and friendly. Decorated for Christmas made it special. The art throughout hotel was an added plus.

Room was clean and comfortable. Loved the cookies and fruit the hotel left in room first night. There was some mildew in the shower and the water took forever to get hot.

The room was immaculate - one light did flicker, but was not a problem at all once I turned it off. The staff was absolutely incredible, and the facilities were top-notch. As well, the pool and hot tub area was high quality - looking forward to finding a reason to come back!

Exceptional Customer Service. The room was spacious, clean and the king bed was comfortable. Dining options with room service, restaurant on site and next door restaurant in walking distance. It’s a luxury hotel downtown, great location to walk to the St. Francis Cathedral and shopping. They allowed pets which is a rare find when you want to experience the local charm of a city like Santa Fe.

This was a very nice hotel, clean and comfortable, great location, walking distance to everything in the city center. The outdoor jacuzzi was nice but it was a long way to walk there in the cold with wet swim suites back to the room. We somehow didn’t have any robes or slippers in our room which would have helped. The bar, restaurant, and in room dining hours shut down at 9 pm which was not ideal....

The room was not in very good condition. The chairs have rips in them, there were no robes or slippers and there were dirty towels on the table and chairs on the patio. Much worse than our room a week ago.

We had a very long wait at valet and could not get the room clean despite making 2 requests during the day. Management finally made it right and overall the hotel was nice, clean, and accommodating. Restaurant was good. Overall staff was friendly and helpful.

The Staab bar has a great selection of wines and cocktails. Food is great. The bartender service is excelent!

Staff was great! Food was okay not outstanding as you would expect from an upscale hotel. Rooms were decent but again, for the price paid not fantastic. Pillows were so plumped it gave you a neck ache throughput the night.

The staff was above and beyond. Best part of the hotel. The room was disappointing as there was nowhere to sit comfortably. No chairs, table or desk. Room refrigerator gurgled 24 hours a day. The pool was not heated. There is no parking so you have to valet your car every time you come and go. I don't mind tipping the valet but It kinda got old coming and going for 3 days. Hotel Santa Fe is a great place to stay.

Was on the main floor at the end of the hall. Live played late and could be heard. Not loud be distracting while trying to sleep. Went to bar around 4 pm to order food. Staff was not very helpful or customer friendly. Short and did not like me asking questions about the menu. Was not busy at the time. Front desk was nice and helpful. We stayed here for three nights over the new years. The hotel property is old and many fixtures show signs of wear. That said our stay was comfortable. We never wanted for anything or found anything non-functional. The location is also convenient, however the property itself is not stand alone, but they have a free shuttle to and from the plaza. Didn't find staff all that friendly, ordered hot choc, presentation awful cream all dripping down the sides. Pool was covered in bugs & leaves. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. No complementary drinks of any kind in room, no water, used environmental excuse and that they had a water dispenser machine at reception....gives out cloudy warm water. The guest service is superb. From check-in to check-out, we were treated extremely well. There was a courtesy vehicle, complimentary, available that took us to a nearby restaurant. The on-site restaurant was excellent and has a must-do tequila tasting for those interested.

No need for a hotel of this type to ask guest to do their own check-in online before their actual arrival. Have a well-trained receptionist to of that job. And sending text messages asking if and what time I want a housekeeper to do a turndown service is necessary and a disruption.

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend. Our room was spacious with a fireplace. The bar and restaurant were excellent. It is downtown so you can walk to all the attractions in Sante Fe. Highly recommend.

This is a wonderful hotel. Convenient for everything in Santa Fe. The rooms were comfortable and clean with a bonus of a fireplace. Bathroom was nice and had all the amenities you need. Staff was kind and helpful. I can not recommend this hotel more!

Staying here was an experience. This is more than a hotel, it is a sanctuary of peace and calmness. The staff are exceptional and make you feel part of the family. The rooms are truly one of a kind, each unique and full of splendor.

The rooms are very old and normal, and the decor in the room is not that good or special, view from patio is also very normal. Service is good. The common area is pretty good tho, and the vibe is nice. It’s actually a motel with Mexican decors, just okay to experience but not good to live there for long. And they will charge extra for amenity stuff for about 50 bucks each room.

The room was clean and bed comfortable. The furniture had lots of dings. With the window immediately facing the sidewalk and parking lot just a few feet away (as with most rooms), for any privacy, we had the shades closed and the room was pretty dark. We also don’t have hand soap by the sink upon arrival, though there were shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc.

Fantastic location and aesthetics. Love the valet parking and having the Secreto Bar and the Gruet Tasting Room on site was a major plus. The deluxe king rooms all face busy street though and the windows are very thin (historic, I’m sure). That made for a hard time sleeping and relaxing. We asked to be relocated to an interior room and that turned out much better but the room was much smaller.

Location is incredible - half a block from the plaza, which makes the reasonable rate outstanding. Also, the fact that it's one of the few places with safe, FREE parking is a big plus. Will stay again.

Room photographs more exciting than it appears in person. It could have some minor updates that would take it to a new level — new curtains, new electrical switches and dimmers, get rid of the daylight bulbs, update the shower faucets so the shower isn’t freezing or hot, newer tvs that can stream, interior door hardware. If I had paid 150 less a night thus would’ve met expectations.

It was a quick stay. The room was clean, the location was very convenient being on the plaza allowing us to walk and not worry about parking. Overall, it was a great experience. Hope to return again soon.

Travelled all day and was looking forward to hot tub soak only to find out the hot tub and pool were closed per health department for the season. Rooms are very cute and clean. The breakfast was very good as well, and walking distance to the plaza was nice. Can't give a 5 star because the walls are very thin so we could hear every noise from outside. It was difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The Staff were all amazing. The hotel property was clean but in need of major repair. There were holes in the ceiling where the main floor vending machines were located that were dripping water into bowls placed on the floor. The room was ok and the bed was comfortable. The property is an older property just needing some TLC.

The breakfast selection was not the best. They served pizza for breakfast and were old under the heat lamp.

They also helped us with our luggage. The free laundry area was clean, which also provided free laundry detergent!
