This place was clean, and pretty straightforward. While I admit other than the lobby the interior could really use an update. During our stay there were a couple instances were the elevators stopped working, or our room key would randomly stop opening the door. Fortunately the hotel is right next to Grand Central, Times Square and plenty of other tourist attractions that made our stay super convenient. Overall all I’d say this is a pretty low priced hotel and for that price you get a really great room situated in Midtown, Manhattan with the trade off being an older building and all the quirks that come with that.

Hotel rooms are a little antiquated. The superior room is good, space wise but as mentioned the hotel could do with a face lift. The elevators are especially in need of an upgrade. Ended up walking down 8 flights of stairs because it was faster. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are kept clean. But definitely think it's a bit overpriced for what it is. The "cozy" room is tiny! Even for the price, it is tiny. Location is fantastic though!

Room was pretty basic. Bed was fine. Room clean. Decent TV. Simple bathroom. Building is old. Due for a remodel, but fit the budget and you couldn't beat the location. Staff are great and the good offerings in the hotel good but expect NYC prices. The only negative is the elevators, while there are 6 of them, there is always a line, or large number of people waiting for the elevator, and its unorganized. Side from that, def recommend based on the location.

Hotel was very friendly and accommodating! Would stay here again next time I was in town. My reason for the 4 star review was my terrible experience at the restaurant. We were there for about an hour and a half and we ordered a burger and a salad. We were put in the corner because it was busy and there was limited seating. We never even received a refill on our water! Once we asked for our bill it took the waiter 10 minutes to come back with it. We gave him payment right away and it took about 15 minutes for him to come back with our ran cc. This caused us to be late and miss our show we had planned. Hotel is nice, just would recommend eating somewhere else.

The hotel is located in an ideal spot. You really can't go wrong if you are going to do any sight seeing. The staff is very efficient and courteous. We asked for a refrigerator in our room and even though one wasn't in the room on arrival, one was brought up very quickly after we brought it to their attention. The room is a pretty standard hotel room. Bathroom is relatively small, beds are clean and comfortable. Only complaint about the room, there is no dresser or anything to unpack your clothes into. Really the only thing I can truthfully complain about is the elevator broke while we were there and we had to walk up 10 flights to our room. Not a big deal for me but could certainly be if you can't make it up the stairs. Overall we have really enjoyed our stay.

- The lobby was stunning, and the rest of the hotel was old, worn out, and needed serious repair work. Other hotels of the same price point have MUCH nicer facilities.
