New York, 1335 6th Ave, Manhattan (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is fair with all facilities needed (it’s a bit small but you know it’s Manhattan). Location is fantastic. People usually complain about the lift waiting time but I personally used around 2-3 minutes so it’s okay for me. Staff are generally nice! There are security at nights in the lobby so you feel super safe. It was lucky that we didn’t pay for additional deposits and the original deposits...
Location, Location, Location! This hotel made adventuring in Manhattan a breeze. Central Park, Radio City, Rockefeller Center, were all so close, there was simply no excuse to not take a walk and be in all the action. We loved to food trucks and vendors near by but we also enjoyed the walkable restaurants close by as well. Staff and facilities were great. I'm so happy we stayed here.
Absolutely the best stay in the world! My room was clean and quiet and had everything I needed. The room was much bigger than I expected for NYC. Shout out to housekeeping who didn’t make a peep in the hallways as they cleaned the vacant rooms. I didn’t leave until around 2pm so they were working hard. Many hotels (even the best of the best) have housekeepers who talk too loudly in the hallways and...
The staff here were friendly and helpful. Everyone was cheerful and considerate. The staff here made our experience pleasant and memorable. The rooms were nice, but the location is perfect if you want to be in thick of the hustle and bustle of the city. Conveniently located, great facilities and a room rate that won’t break the bank. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
From the moment we arrived, our experience at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The property is beautiful, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. Every detail reflected true five-star quality. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. The team went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and valued. Special recognition to Lek at concierge...
Basic amenities like water, slippers, toothbrush is not in the hotel room. The elevator was being modernised and waited up to 15mins one of the days. Location is splendid though.

The insulation can be improved, however, overall had a nice stay, very helpful stuff, pet friendly.
Great location, very convenient for getting around; lots of street food nearby.
Very poor breakfast bar. Had to pay extra charges (in addition to the price displayed on trip.com) that they then refund in the form of a voucher to spend at the bar. Bad surprise. Good overall otherwise.
Had to rebook a room because flights were cancelled due to the snow storm. Understandable reception was busy. Unfortunately the lady dealing with us was very rude and blunt. Apart from this stay was good. Location is amazing!
The price was quite a good deal for New York, especially with a discount. The facilities and decor are up to Hilton's standards, but!! It was incredibly, unbelievably crowded. Expect to wait about an hour just to park, with only one staff member working. Checking in at the front desk, buying coffee, and even storing luggage all involved long queues. It seems like a lot of airline crew stay here too...
The room was clean and hygienic, and the view outside the window was captivating. The environment was also very pleasant.

Nice hotel, right around the corner from Times Square. The lobby is very nice and open. The rooms are indeed small, but not bothersome (we had the Superior room). The room is no-frills, but comfy. The bed was nice and there was a bit of storage. The bathroom is very small but it has everything you might need. Our room was clean; we didn’t have the issues some reported, but it could have used a deep...
CORRECTION ABOUT ROOM SIZE - SEE BELOW We had a Deluxe City View room with 2 double beds for 2 adults, 2 children (teens). . The size of the room was comfortable for NY sizes. We had room to stow our luggage (we had 2 large pieces). This room was larger than the New Yorker, where we stayed a few years back - at that hotel there was no room for luggage and we were walking over it. It was pretty tight...
I just returned from my stay with a large school group. We were very pleased with our experience! The room size was extremely small, especially for four girls, but since we were only really there to sleep this wasn't a problem. I was pleasantly surprised that we had a great view of the city given that we had a "standard" room (I was expecting a brick wall!) and the layout of the room was nice for the...
Elevator is smart. There is no breakfast. Hotel workers have difficult times when u ask something to them. It is like they dont like helping or solving ur problem. You hear every noise in the room

The front desk staff didn't even know the meaning behind the sculptures in their own hotel and told me to look it up online myself. What a hotel fail! The hotel price is very reasonable, and the location is also very convenient.
The location is fantastic, and the room size was great. However, it was a bit dusty and dry. Everything else was really good though!
Excellent location right in the heart of Manhattan.
Unfortunately, only thing positive is the location. Hotel was very run down and disappointing. Dusty room and lots of broken items in room. Very expensive stay for this budget experience.
Great location, nice and clean hotel
Booked a standard room for two people and it was much larger than expected. There was plenty of space for both our luggage, plus a wardrobe. We stayed for three nights, and the location was fantastic – right next to Grand Central Station and Fifth Avenue, which was incredibly convenient.

New York, 481 8th Avenue (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
This hotel is nearly 100 years old, so the facilities are a bit dated, but it's generally clean and tidy. Its best feature is the excellent location; it's very convenient to walk to major Midtown attractions and the subway. About 100 meters to the left when you exit the hotel, there's a fantastic Korean buffet restaurant.
Excellent service, generous desk staff allowed us to check in at 9am for no cost as the room was free, excellent room with great views. Right next to multiple subway stations.
Hotel with an excellent location and very friendly staff. A bit old and in need of renovation, especially the windows to ensure proper insulation from the cold; we had to keep the air conditioning on almost all the time to warm up the room. Generally I’d give a a 4/5.
It is a very basic hotel but very convenient if you want to take the train to other cities at Penn Station for a couple of days during your visit because they let you store your luggage if you return to NYC to stay there again.
We pleased with services at this hotel besides that it close the Penn station so I feel comfortable
The hotel location is quite convenient. It is easy to browse around the city. Recommended for young travelers who are seeking hotels that allow 18 years old to check-in.

Nice 4* hotel closed to popular Times Square and Hard Rock cafe with easy access to lots of food and amenities. City Subway is just 2mins walk from the hotel lobby Helpful staff and room is comfortable and clean Got free pass for general admission fo American Museum of Natural History Will stay at this Westin again in next visit to NY
The location is perfect. Just walking distance around times square. Food and bakery surrounding the hotel. Very convinient. Will come again next time
Very convenient location, comfortable rooms, and lots of Chinese restaurants nearby.
We booked a room with city view. They gave us a room with window and there was no city view. Something blocked our window view and they did it on purpose. They usually give trip.com or *********** customers on the same floor which blocks the window and blocks the city view.
Overall, it was good. I asked for some amenities once, and though they promised to send them up, they never arrived. The location was very convenient for getting around.
Good service, clean rooms. The area is bustling with shops and restaurants, and it's just a block from Times Square.

The hotel's location is great, near Times Square with multiple subway lines. However, the room assigned by the front desk was in a terrible spot, facing another room's outdoor AC unit. On top of that, the indoor AC unit was very noisy, so much so that I had to turn it off to even attempt to sleep. The hotel's room service was also mediocre; they always forgot something, like disposable cups, or they...
Located in Times Square, it's a pleasant walk to Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The rooms are a bit small, and breakfast is grab-and-go with three vendor options. I recommend Carve at the intersection of 47th Street and 8th Avenue for more choices. They also offer complimentary red and white wine every Tuesday and Friday from 5-6 PM. Pictures 4 and 5 are from Bond 45.
Employees were not accommodating especially at the front desk.
The hotel is quite old, but given its prime location right next to Times Square, you can't really complain too much. However, the large industrial fan from the adjacent building right outside my room was incredibly noisy.
Great hotel with great location
Room was quite small and basic, and walls were thin. Staff was very helpful. There is no on site restaurant except for the steakhouse so it was not an option for my 15 night stay to dine there every night. Great location near to Central station. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Very busy but the entire staff was up to the challenge.
The room was nice, and the location was good too. I liked the gym, and the staff were very friendly.
Security deposit is not credited back to me even after check out.
The hotel is in a very good location. Alexandra was so nice that she gave us a complimentary breakfast and accommodated us even before our check in time. It was a good experience. Although breakfast has a lack of food variety, it was good.

The room was clean and tidy, and the heating was strong enough to keep us warm. The outlets didn't require a converter, which was convenient. It was very quiet, and the hotel's location is great, very close to Central Park, making it easy to get around.
Extremely satisfied! Absolutely excellent!
Nice place to stay. Would definitely recommend.
The location is unbeatable, really close to the most bustling area of the city center. The subway station is right next door, making it super convenient for getting around. The hotel environment is great; although it's an older property, you can tell it's very well-maintained. Getting upgraded to Westhouse in the same building was also a pleasant surprise!
Good location. Rooms were clean Staff were courteous.would definitely recommend to others for staying here
This is my second stay here. They didn't have a king room available that I had reserved so they upgraded me to a Suite, very nice!

My family had a great time here. Staff was super friendly. Everything was clean which is a top priority for me!
Good service and pleasant stay.
Well positioned , good room size , nice lobby and friendly staff. No complaints and no problems overall. Would recommend for a short stay in NYC!
The location was good, it was clean, the staff was interested. The only disadvantage is that they charge a deposit per day. I'm waiting for my deposit to be refunded.
The hotel is in Manhattan, just a 7-minute walk from Grand Central Station. It was quite clean. My only minor complaint was that the pillows were a bit too high for my comfort; I wish there were more options available.
The rooms are small but well-equipped. The air conditioning works. It was unexpected that they charged a $100 daily deposit but only refunded $65. This turned out to be for a mandatory bar credit. They claim you get a $35 daily credit to spend on food or drinks at the bar for free. However, whether you use it or not, they still deduct $35 per day from your deposit. This practice definitely calls for...

Great location, and the room was better than expected. However, the service was mediocre. As an InterContinental Platinum member, I received no benefits, and despite having already paid through Trip.com, I was charged an additional $50 at check-in.
The soundproofing is terrible. I could hear my neighbor's alarm clock going off repeatedly – it was ridiculous. Plus, a child was crying in the middle of the night. I barely got any sleep because of the alarms and crying all night long.
Start with the bad  Room was really cold even with the heater on full blast . There was a balcony and the balcony door was quite loose and draughty, the windows were not double glaze and you could hear a lot of the sirens and going on’s outside . The room was very dated but clean . No remote for the tv. Not many plug sockets and some did not look safe . The main door had a dent in the front and didn...

The hotel's location is great, but the facilities are a bit old. Despite that, it's cleaned meticulously every day! We checked in around 3 or 4 PM, and the front desk staff was yawning repeatedly right in front of us, with their mouths wide open… Honestly, it was my first time encountering such rude front desk service! Very good stay. Nice and clean hotel. Staff are very friendly. Very close to Subway. They charge you 30usd daily as city tax, but you can use them in restaurant. Deposit is 100usd per day. Possible to pay in cash.
Excellent location, close to Brooklyn Bridge and Metro/Subway, good service. Double room was spacous for family of 4 though the beds were a bit small. Still a good experience staying at the hotel.
The floor is so dirty, coffee stains have not been cleaned, and hair is still left in the wash basin in the bathroom. The entire room was very dusty and old, and the soundproofing was terrible. I could hear the people in the next room talking all night.
Good location near Brooklyn bridge nice stay . I didn’t like the long corridors to arrive to the room but that it is.
My overall experience was good but started off shaky. The first night I arrived with my mother, the first room we were in was dirty. It's a small hotel, but the location is great. However, it feels a bit chaotic/disorganized.
The hotel's location is excellent; it's easy to walk to attractions like Times Square and Central Park. The room was reasonably clean but quite small, and the soundproofing was poor. The price was also a bit high.
Great location!! Loved the rooftop bar. Rooms were small but very efficient. But let’s face it you don’t go to NYC to sit in your room!!
The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Manhattan. It's within walking distance to famous attractions like Times Square and Central Park. There's also a supermarket across the street and plenty of dining options nearby. We booked a room for four, but the bedroom was a bit cramped.
The location is excellent and the hotel has a nice design. The shower facilities are great and the bedding is very comfortable. However, the room is quite small, and the wall-mounted table is a bit inconvenient. Overall, it's pretty good.

The location is great, right next to Times Square, which is super convenient. The room size was decent, especially for New York standards. Facilities were pretty basic but clean. The front desk staff seemed impatient, but the doorman was very welcoming!
Stayed at this hotel on NYE and it was the best decision made due to the convenience of return to hotel after the countdown event.
Great room. Great Location. Great vibe.
It's a great location for tourists, the rate is quite high for what the hotel offers. Fitness center is a great size and I was more impressed by the fitness center than the lobby. Breakfast is mid for a buffet that costs $30. Even my niece...
A perfect room for a reasonable price is all but impossible to find in NYC. This is as close as it gets. We come to NYC multiple times a year. The room is a decent size. There are slippers but no mouthwash cup. The quilt is too thick and I sweated from the heat. The service is okay.

Great and safe location! Close to metro stations and bus stops, making it easy to reach tourist attractions. The staff were enthusiastic, friendly, and helpful. Excellent food and hotel location. Service staff are very helpful from luggage, and front desk. But it took 2 hrs to have towels sent to the room, and the air blower is very old and need replace. it sounds like helicopter.

Clean and convenient location, but unfortunately it is close to the road. There is a lot of traffic. You can hear clear noise on the lower floors

The description stated that we would have bathrobes and other amenities, but there were none in the room. However, the worst part was the noise: on the 4th floor you could hear the street noise, and on the 6th the whole room was shaking because of the purple. If you’re a very light sleeper, I don’t recommend it. The staff were very friendly at all times.
