The hotel is fair with all facilities needed (it’s a bit small but you know it’s Manhattan). Location is fantastic. Location, Location, Location! This hotel made adventuring in Manhattan a breeze. Central Park, Radio City, Rockefeller Center, were all so close, there was simply no excuse to not take a walk and be in all the action. We loved to food trucks and vendors near by but we also enjoyed the walkable restaurants close by as well. Staff and facilities were great. I'm so happy we stayed here.

Basic amenities like water, slippers, toothbrush is not in the hotel room. The elevator was being modernised and waited up to 15mins one of the days. Location is splendid though.

Booked a standard room for two people and it was much larger than expected. There was plenty of space for both our luggage, plus a wardrobe. We stayed for three nights, and the location was fantastic – right next to Grand Central Station and Fifth Avenue, which was incredibly convenient.

This hotel is nearly 100 years old, so the facilities are a bit dated, but it's generally clean and tidy. Its best feature is the excellent location; it's very convenient to walk to major Midtown attractions and the subway. About 100 meters to the left when you exit the hotel, there's a fantastic Korean buffet restaurant.

Excellent service, generous desk staff allowed us to check in at 9am for no cost as the room was free, excellent room with great views. Right next to multiple subway stations.

Hotel with an excellent location and very friendly staff. A bit old and in need of renovation, especially the windows to ensure proper insulation from the cold; we had to keep the air conditioning on almost all the time to warm up the room. Generally I’d give a a 4/5.

It is a very basic hotel but very convenient if you want to take the train to other cities at Penn Station for a couple of days during your visit because they let you store your luggage if you return to NYC to stay there again.

We booked a room with city view. They gave us a room with window and there was no city view. Something blocked our window view and they did it on purpose. They usually give trip.com or *********** customers on the same floor which blocks the window and blocks the city view.

Located in Times Square, it's a pleasant walk to Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The rooms are a bit small, and breakfast is grab-and-go with three vendor options. I recommend Carve at the intersection of 47th Street and 8th Avenue for more choices. They also offer complimentary red and white wine every Tuesday and Friday from 5-6 PM. The hotel is quite old, but given its prime location right next to Times Square, you can't really complain too much. However, the large industrial fan from the adjacent building right outside my room was incredibly noisy.

Room was quite small and basic, and walls were thin. Staff was very helpful. There is no on site restaurant except for the steakhouse so it was not an option for my 15 night stay to dine there every night. Great location near to Central station. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

This is my second stay here. They didn't have a king room available that I had reserved so they upgraded me to a Suite, very nice!

The management is terrible, three managers say different information. They don't go to the meeting, they don't care if your room is paid or unpaid. I was with two children and I didn't have a security deposit until my American friend called them, they didn't care. The service is full of crap.

My family and I stayed over the Christmas Holiday. The location is great. The rooms were small but clean. The staff is friendly. The only negative thing I experienced is the lack of enough elevators for the amount of people. They have 4. One would be in use for service. The other only goes straight to the roof after a certain time. Other than that it was fine.

The description stated that we would have bathrobes and other amenities, but there were none in the room. However, the worst part was the noise: on the 4th floor you could hear the street noise, and on the 6th the whole room was shaking because of the purple.
