Loved being able to stay here for a cheap price thanks to online hotel deal😍😍😍 It was around end of 2016 or beginning 2017(I think 2017 is more like it) i got nice deal for like $30 to $35 not bad even at that time and even though the room had no view it was just amazing being in there💯💯💯 So sad the governor wanted them to take it down because this was such a lovely place and only needed some fixing...
Had a two night stay at this hotel was impressed aside from what the reviews say. Our room was spacious enough for 4 people, also cleanly. Housekeeping came by to ensure room was clean. Hotel is right in the middle of the city, walking distance to many things. We were able to grab breakfast right across the street (not the exaggerated block away). They also have stores within the hotel lobby for convenience...
Check in took almost an hour waiting in line with luggage. But was able to check in and out a bit early/late. The room is basic, okay for one night and spacious but filthy carpet, kept shoes on, a very motel feel. They offered an upgrade to their renovated roomful for $57 which we declined since at least the bed and shower seemed clean. Great location though and cheaper than many others in the area...
This hotel was a HUGE disappointment. The staff is rude, not really willing to help the clients and the rooms are far from good. Unfortunately is a perfectly-located place with a terrible service.
Great for the price! Check in was abysmally slow, but other than that service was good. Beds were comfortable but a bit squeaky. Bathroom was very basic and the tub had no drain stopper and was peeling. But it served my purpose well. All I wanted was an inexpensive and clean place to sleep and I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel.

Flew in from Vegas for a overnight stay before heading to Rome. Location is perfectly situated right between hells kitchen and Columbus circle. Hotel is cute, staff friendly, rooftop bar that we heard so much about and seen in pictures was under construction which was a bummer. Extra facilities fee when checking out for the gym we never used which they then waived. Room was small but then again your...
This hotel was an interesting experience. My room was fine, though extremely small, even by Manhattan standards. There was a quirky window that looked from the shower into the room and there was minimal lightning. The room was seriously dark. My room was fine however and the bath products were very nice and a brand that I like. There were other areas of the hotel that had maintenance issues however...
Loved the location, the quirky design. Some guests might not be thrilled by the zero privacy bathroom, if you're sitting on the toilet you are on full display to any other guests in your room because of the giant glass wall, but I was alone so no big deal. Outside is blank, a brown wall. Escalator takes you up to an ultra modern spacious lobby with subdued lighting and cozy spaces. Room was...
Cool vibe but looks like it is a little run down. A few of their elevators were down which resulted in long wait times. When asked about the elevators the staff denied that any were not working. Room service did a good job but didn't replace paper cups for water, no glass or plastic cups provided. The breakfast buffet was expensive and not that great, more like a continental breakfast that is usually...
I'm a native New Yorker and I love to visit the bars at this hotel. They each have a different feel. My favorite is the Library bar with fire place and leather couches. Cocktails are pricey, but delicious. You' re paying for the atmosphere. In the warm months there's an outdoor space and a bar/grill to provide for beverage and culinary needs. Check it out.
Great location for the price. Close to Central Park, Broadway theaters, and Hell's Kitchen restaurants and bars. Pseudo-trendy. Responsive, professional staff. Negatives: teeny tiny rooms and bathrooms, showers never seem to work well (and I've stayed here many times), lots of street noise and HVAC noise, and elevators can take forever at times. I'm leaning 3-star but have to acknowledge that many...

I really enjoyed my stay at the Wellington hotel. The location is absolutely perfect close to all subway lines you could possibly need and even walking to Central Park and Times Square was very easy. The location for the price can't be beat. The room was incredibly clean and well kept. Staff was so nice and welcoming and helped me with any issue I had. It was safe and I have no complaints at all....
I had a pleasant experience at Wellington. The staff was nice and friendly, the check in took around 15 minutes. The room was pretty small but cozy and very clean, the bathroom as well. Everything was shiny and fresh towels. Comfortable bed and really comfortable pillows that made me sleep like a lion :) The only reason I gave 4 stars is the thin walls, because I could easily hear the people next door...
Clean hotel with plenty of space right in the middle of the tourist atmosphere in Manhattan. Rates were fantastic for Thanksgiving! We were close to the parade route and were able to check our bags during the parade, and while site seeing during the day. We were extremely happy with the deluxe double double room, and even had 2 bathrooms, which made getting ready in the morning very easy! Would definitely...
Great value and location. Clean rooms and helpful staff. We checked in on Friday night and requested rooms on the same floor. Wasn't a problem. The elevators were slow and one got shut down during our stay. Overall great experience.
Friendly, helpful staff who looked after us well during our stay. Decor is a little dated but adds to the charm. Stayed in a two bedroom suite with two doubles, a single bed plus a microwave and fridge. Although the air con/heater was rather noisy the comfortable beds made up for it. Great location really close to times square and central park. Subway station outside and a starbucks across the road...
Excellent place to stay..10 minutes walk to Times Square -could see the video screens from our room.. I would definitely book again... Booked 3 different rooms and all 3 were great... Nice and clean. And reasonable rate... Met the owner Joe at the bar, I believe that's the correct name. With the white curled mustache... Nice humble person... the only con was the garage parking $45.00 each entry. Very expensive.
the hotel room was what I expected based off of the expedia site. I had a good experience. the bar there had the cheapest corona in the city. comfortable bed and valet parking wasn't that costly, just remember to get your parking slip stamped by the front desk when you leave(it gives a discount). I wish they had an indoor pool ?. I would stay here again if I were in Manhattan. I think the price and...
Great place for the money! Great location. I got a great deal on Priceline. Room was decent but they didn't completely renovate the bathroom. The fixtures were outdated in the bathroom. Hey if you're in New York City who's staying in the room anyway. I was told it used to be a holiday in.
use to be a holiday inn, its nice location and reasonable.
Just a short walk to The Central Park where you can take a very refreshing morning walk and walkable to Times Square as well for a nice evening view of the lights and sounds! Overall good value for money! The rooms are larger than many other hotels that I have stayed in at Manhattan. You can park at the hotel for $37/day. Hope this is helpful!
Really enjoyed our stay, short walk from times square and central park. There is a $150 security deposit. Only negative thing is that the doors slam so loud when closing, you can hear your neighbors come in and out throughout the hallway. The shampoo and conditioner we're great quality and the room space for our king suite was more than accommodating. Glad we decide to stay here, no issues. Our house...

The room was tiny, there wasn't even enough space for two suitcases. The sink had no counter space for toiletries, and the facilities were outdated. The location, however, was decent.
It was around Thanksgiving, and the line for check-in was incredibly long. Hotel facilities in the US are pretty standard, nothing to write home about. Breakfast was free, but they still charge for tips. But then again, it's Manhattan, so the location is absolutely fantastic.
Lift is not enough, wasting too much time for waiting lift especially tush hour
Overall, my stay at the hotel was pretty good. The room size was just right for a solo traveler, and the bedding was clean and tidy, making for a comfortable sleep. All the basic amenities in the room were fully equipped, perfect for daily use.
I came to New York alone for Thanksgiving break as a college student. Most hotels in NYC strictly require guests to be 21 or older to check in. After searching for a long time on Trip.com, I finally found this hotel (not a hostel) that allows 18+ guests to check in by themselves. I even had Trip.com customer service confirm it with the hotel, which was a huge help! The location is great, just a short...
This hotel has no standard for hospitality. The only exceptional people who actually work and provide a service are the concierge (Harrison and his team!) and Housekeepers. The receptionist are really really slow, unresponsive to a simple question/request and feel like so bothered when you ask something related to your stay. The elevator took forever so you really need to plan well ahead before you...

Great location. The check in process was very slow.  Rest No complaint
First time staying with Element - mixed review: great value for central location, great spread for breakfast - thoroughly enjoyed it. On the other hand, room had some serious issues: the air conditioning split unit produced so much noise throughout the night which made it impossible to get any kind of quality sleep. No phones provided in the room which is intentionally discouraged any communication...
Excellent location 5 minutes walked to time square. Subway station and restaurants everywhere. Booked a room, including 2 people breakfast. BKT was convenient and okay. If you drive, make sure to park your car across the hotel that parking lot. Pay the hotel directly when you checked out to get a better price. Overall, it was a very good stay.

Extremely well located, friendly staff (especially in the morning at the coffee/tea service). Will visit again!
We were upgraded to a room on the 3rd floor but the shower knob was broken and unable to turn on shower. The digital clock was not working properly and unable to change to proper time. Luckily i told the front desk and they were able to change our room right away. Otherwise the hotel was good.
The hotel being at the heart of Midtown Manhattan is stone throw away from Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Madison Square, the Theater District, Central Park, port authority bus terminal, among many others. The location is very good! The elevators are a bit slow and small. Avoid using them during peak times, such as 10:00 and 18:00.
Bathroom floor dirty, shade didn't close all the way, elevators always not running for some reason
Great location, housekeeping is also good. Coffee offers in the public area, not in room. There is a microwave and fridge in room

Great location for the places we wanted to visit. Staff was friendly. Amenities were just average. Would have thought to be better for the holidays and the high pricing for the stay. Could not reccomend this hotel anymore! Close to everything, stunning view of the empire state from our room. The staff couldn’t be any more helpful, always happy with anything we asked them, and told us to have a good day, every morning we went on our travels. Very clean, maid service daily! Good hotel, great living space and location. Perfect to visit so mamy attractions and those are short walk away. Greatly recommend. Breakfast was good and lots of options, staffs friendly and helpful. Gym and self service laundry room available and so convenient. Underground next to hotel straight to wall street and statue of liberty ferry.
The room was quite clean and cozy. The location of the hotel is very convenient. You will be able to reach all the major sights in Manhattan easily on foot or by subway (several stations within a 2 minute walk from the hotel). The room had a kitchen with a large refrigerator and necessary cookware. Accommodation for a longer stay. At our request they brought a hot plate (electric) for cooking in the...

Comfortable and clean room, spacious for 1 person. Shared bathroom, well maintained and clean.
Its our second stay at the Pod51. The staff is definitly amazing and so is the location! This time we had another room thatbwas less comfortable because it was organized sobthat the bed was near the entrance and thentable and chair was in the other side and then its hard to be 2 in the pod. The POD 51 hotel in New York has private toilets in the rooms, but the space is really small. Water easily splashes from the sink, so you have to be careful every time you wash your hands. There's a communal area with tables and chairs on the rooftop where you can relax, eat, and enjoy views of the surrounding high-rise buildings. The location is convenient.
Excellent, professional front of house service.   Bonus…With a 2 night stay was not expecting full servicing of room after Day 1 (bed made, fresh towels) 👏👏👏

The hotel front desk staff were very welcoming. Downstairs, the restaurant offers free coffee, tea, and drinking water in the morning, which is a great value! Even with a daily tip of 1-2 dollars, the room was cleaned thoroughly. It's truly rare to find such a good hotel in a prime Manhattan location where every inch of land is so expensive.
Good location, has a gym which is a huge one since the collaborate with a professional gym room
I stayed there for two nights. If you have business occasions near Grand Central, location is not too bad but if you expect various activities beyond business, you might have more options. 42nd-Grand Central station is 7-8 min by walk.
The room was a bit small, but its central location made it super convenient. The hairdryer wasn't very powerful. Breakfast was available downstairs, with coffee and bagels. You can also store your luggage after checking out.
Great little spot, really liked the free tours and it's quite affordable as a solo traveller.
Its super well located and they would clean the room every day with no aditional costs. Its a bit pricy though

Clean room with incredible city views. Central hotel and the staff were excellent. We would definitely come back, we slept really well!
This hotel is overall satisfactory . I love the refrigerator in the room. It’s very convenient. The terrace bar is overpriced, but the view is good. However, they charge quite a lot for luggage storage after checkout.
Cleanliness: Very good, spotless. Convenient location. The room is standard New York style – small and minimalist, but clean. Service is also good, and they offer breakfast and a rooftop bar. Definitely worth staying! Great for city transportation.
This place was fantastic. The rooms are cozy, which is totally normal for New York City, but the location is unbeatable. Everything is central, easy to walk to, and simple to reach by train. The room was spotless and had everything I needed, and the view of the Empire State Building felt like a movie scene, better than any artwork on the walls. The real highlight was the staff. The hotel was generally very clean. The location, I suppose like everywhere else in Manhattan, was constantly noisy with car horns and the unsettling sounds of police and ambulance sirens. The hotel staff were certainly friendly, but that's not quite the same as being efficient. The front desk area was unusually small. I had a great experience on my NYC Christmas trip 2025. My family of four stayed in one of the junior suites and it was pretty spacious by NYC standards. There is a writing desk and a pull out sofa that my daughter slept on...no complaints which is rare. We were on the 52nd St. side of the hotel and the noise was at acceptable levels. The blackout curtains work well. The big upside to this property...
It’s an old building, and the rooms are not exactly how they look in the photos. But, it’s good price for the amount of space that you get. Service is hit or miss depending on the staff that attends to you, and there’s no bell service which is fine. I particularly liked the spacious lounge they let guests use 24/7 on the 12th floor — just a good space to get together if you have a big group staying...
We were double charged by the hotel even though we prepaid with CTRIP. The hotel checked us in under an old reservation they said they cancelled to our travel agent prior to our stay and made us pay for that while still keeping our money from the CTRIP prepaid reservation. The management at the hotel is dishonest and won’t refund our money even after CTRIP explained everything. Don’t stay here
We had a wonderful stay. We arrived early and the hotel staff reorganised the rooms and allowed us to check in. Very helpful and accomodating staff. Even allowed us late check out.

The hotel is in an awesome location on time square. We booked a 'double double room' through a 3rd party website. Perfect location. Rooms are larger than they appear in the online photos. Breakfast was tasty and by pre-paying for 4 mornings we got a great deal. All staff were friendly and helpful. A scale is available to weigh your luggage at the end of your trip. Airport transfers can be booked with the concierge at cheaper-than-taxi rates. Would definitely stay here again.
This is great economical hotel right next to Broadway and times square. Beautiful lobby and rooms are comfortable. Very useful business center and fitness room.
A decent hotel to stay, located at the prime location. Times square is few blocks away and can be reached in few minutes. The hotel does not have much to offer in terms amenities. No swimming pool, etc. The rooms are small but are neat and clean.

Nice place. Picked it for the fridge. Has a kitchenette that hasn’t used but seems simple enough for a quick meal maker. Stood in a city view room and it was nice to see building from Hudson Yards and Empire building. Elevators do have a wait time during rush hours, could be 7 minutes at times. Quiet at night and just minutes from the train station that can go anywhere.
I enjoyed my time here with Element. The breakfast is really good, clean spacious rooms and great hospitality. We had a room with two double beds, however the room was not designed to accommodate this. Very little room to move around and very small bathroom. Great service, very welcoming staff. Really spacious comfortable rooms. Love everything about my stay here other than the fact that there is no sound proofing of the rooms, feel like my neighbor is showering in my room/ can hear their alarms going off like it's on my bedstand.
I recently stayed at the Hyatt Centric Wall Street, and it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and ready to help. The front desk team made check-in a breeze, and they were always available with helpful information and recommendations throughout our stay. Our room was wonderful: spacious, modern...
This location is great, close to everything. Easy to walk by the river, restaurants, bars, subway, etc. The hotel is very nice, with a lobby, and the service is very friendly. My only issue was with the toiletries that they provided in the room. I rented a king-size bed. The room is beautiful and the space was very large. The foyer, bathroom, and shower area are all beautiful. They provide you with...
My favorite hotel in NY (and I’ve stayed in nearly 30 hotels in NYC)! Rooms are massive for NY (even the smallest is 350sqft while competing properties’ rooms start at
Beautiful hotel, excellent location, friendly staff! Were able to bring our dog with us, there is a dog park just 2 blocks away along with a long promenade for walking and biking. Pier 17 is right there for concerts and food, outdoor markets, as are the helicopter and ferry tours! The hotel, itself is beautifully designed. The architect clearly spent a lot of time on the details and lighting. ...
My stay here was excellent, great rooms very spacious, great staff, definitely worth the price. I stayed here for a weekend with a large group and everyone had good things to say about this hotel. It is close to the water and good food spots, and shopping centers as well. I will definitely stay here again.

The room is up to interior design trend but with humility smell. The bath towers are old and thin. The pillows are hard, and the mattress is soft not firm enough, I end up with neck and back pain the next morning and didn't sleep well at all. The TV shout down during the middle of the show.
The hotel is in a good location, but the view from the room window is really shabby and can only be closed. I booked a standard room with twin beds, but I was given an accessible room, which I was not used to. The washbasin was very small and could hardly hold anything. I booked breakfast, but the hotel gave me a $10 voucher. If I ordered a la carte, I would have to pay the difference with tax, which...
The hotel staff is very friendly and the location is great, right in the heart of Manhattan, making it easy to get around. The room is small but cozy, the surrounding area is convenient, and the service is thoughtful! The bed is a little soft, but this seems to be a common problem in all American hotels.
Located in the heart of Manhattan, the room was a bit small. But it was convenient. My Ctrip booking included breakfast, but it only offered a 20 yuan discount. There's an Ichiran Ramen restaurant across the street, but I've already warned you about the pitfalls.
This hotel has poor soundproofing. The clatter of dozens of exhaust pipes and boilers filled the air outside the window, making it impossible to sleep. There's a bar on the first floor, and the noise was so loud until 2 a.m. that I had to take sleeping pills to fall asleep. Rooms 1113 and 1115 were right next to each other, and we were woken by the banging of doors. Furthermore, his room light was...
The hotel is in a great location and very convenient for travel! The hotel facilities are relatively old, but still clean and tidy; the service attitude is also very good!
