I specifically chose the hotel for the Times Square ball drop view from the pool area. Unfortunately, that area was closed, and have to buy ticket to see the view which is ridiculously expensive . I had to buy the time square public admission elsewhere to view the ball drop.
This hotel won’t allow their guest to view the ball drop. The view from outside the hotel is attached. Do not stay here if you are looking for free ball drop view with the room booking charges.
We were travelling for our honeymoon and Margaritaville was the only hotel out of all of them that even acknowledged this.
The rooms were spotless, compact but well thought out for storage.
We used the pool daily, the cocktails and service were fantastic.
Honestly can’t complain about a single thing & will recommend to anyone going to NY!
For the location rooms are reasonably sized, quiet, well decorated and very clean.
The pool is fantastic and the rooftop bar is great too.
Also, very fairly priced given the amenities and locations. It would absolutely be my first choice my next trip in.
