Lovely hotel, capable of catering to any need. Stayed for 3 nights, they upgraded my room free. Very clean and knowledgeable. If you stay here you can get reservations to Black Tap!

absolutely loved this hotel!!! Right in the middle of everything! I was able to easily walk to Lincoln Center, and Time Square and my kids had a great time! My son is 6'5 and he fit comfortably on the daybed in the living room. My daughter and I shared the king sized bed and I didn't even know she was there. We enjoyed our free breakfast as well!! Basically the only thing that would make me like this hotel more is if it was free lol.

Wonderful hotel. An ideal location near the South side of Central Park. Good free breakfast on offer. The traditional furnishings were right up our street.

Great hotel! Large clean rooms, comfortable beds, and great staff. They were all very helpful and friendly every encounter. The hotel was very clean all around, lobby and all. Everything was a bit dated, but kept up very well and clean. We had a two room suit for our family and it worked perfectly! I would definitely go back. We had a family member stay at the Hilton around the corner and she wished she could have gotten into our hotel for the price but it was full.

Was really worried by all the reviews but our stay in early January went great. Everyone working there was awesome, service when we asked for more pillows and later more blankets was the fastest I've ever had, and the bag holding service was great! The room definitely was a little older but it was also bigger than anything else I was seeing around, much less in this price point. We stayed in the 2 queens + couch room which easily fit 5 people.

Customer service, location and safety of Blakely was great. Rooms felt spacious and beds felt comfortable. Love how there's a fridge, extra sink, utensils, mugs, glasses, makeup mirror with magnification and microwave.
The front allowed the other guest to enter the room before I even got there to show ID and card used for the room.
Decor felt dated.
However there was no:
1. Hair dryer
2. Tissues
3. Toilet made noises throughout the stay.
4. Shower wouldn't drain well while taking a shower.
5. The shower knob falls off.
6. One of the two elevators were out of commission and luckily my room was on the third floor. But I feel bad for the guests who stayed at higher floors.

The location was excellent. You are close to Central Park. Times square is just a few blocks away. For Thanksgiving the parade route is half a block away. There is everything you can imagine close by. The hotel is not run down most basically it's worn. It has a certain charm. One bad point is that there is mold in the shower walls. Beds were comfortable. This room had a microwave. Pricier hotels do not and they charge you $50 by the day for a microwave. There was plates, silverware and glasses. It was a good experience.

Location was amazing! For the price, it can’t be beat. Staff was nice. Housekeeping was great. The did a good job cleaning every time.
WiFi did not work at all. Workout room was too hot to use.
I would stay here again simply for the great location and nice staff. Also, the room was big with a living room area and fridge area. Bathroom was big and clean.

Great hotel, great location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

The room was a small one bedroom. It had a nice 1900 feel to it with wood framing and green wallpaper. Very nice bathroom. Despite the small space it still seemed large and homely.
