While I understand the situation, I still expected a faster and more professional response from a 5-star property. Even though I was eventually moved to another room, the incident completely ruined the mood of my trip. I felt uncomfortable and uneasy during the rest of my stay. I truly hope the hotel improves its service so that future guests won't have the same experience.
I had a wonderful stay. The location was better than most hotels in New York at this price range — the room was spacious, clean, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful.
