It was clean & comfortable. Upon walking in to the rooms they had nice quilts upon the bed giving it a more homey feel. The rooms have a small fridge.

Love the warmness we received the moment we got there. We had a cabin like room nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains and it was close to everything.
Tammy and Phillip made a campfire at night to relax near the warmth on a crisp night. The beds were comfortable with a flat screen TV if your into watching. Since we rode motorcycles their, we appreciated the towels provided to wipe the morning dew off the bikes. We had a great time.

Our first trip here and I was eyeballing some places by the creek for next time. A cabin or something maybe. I mean the first thing that comes to mind that all the hotel/motels say they are biker friendly and such. These people went past and beyond that! 1. Starting of with extra clean towels to whip the bikes down in the morning. 2. Offering the use of their Suburban to get food because of weather. Mind you we didn't but the offer was nice. 3. When one of our bikes had a issue where it wasn't even running down hill little alone up one out in BFE!!! Phil drove 2hrs out with the Suburban and a trailer. Picked up the bike and drove back 2hrs to the motel so they could get a $150 part to fix it. Now one of us is a repeat customer and maybe this is why we got the star treatment. But all I know is that as long as the owner don't change hands and the Clarketon is still standing. I won't even think about sleeping or staying any where else.

Room was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in a studio room that was perfect. We had a busy weekend planned so a bed and bathroom was all we needed. Fantastic rates!

A beautiful quaint motel that is very reasonably priced. Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff. Will definitely recommend and return.

Looks nothing like the pictures. Rooms are clean but just like the entire property, very old and unmaintained. I would not stay there again.

Out of date builtinheater and out of date window ac unit that was falling apart and held together with duct tape. Booked a room for five people and they only had two towels in the bathroom. Pool wasn't open which was not great. Had to request more at office. All in all it's was appropriate for the price and last minute booking
