Motel 6 Macon, GA in Macon

The people on the front desk great friendly people. I must say that the location and rooms were terrible. We came in the room and roaches ran everywhere, cigarette burns all over the place. Some guys got into a shootout outside the day I checked in. Overall unsafe, dirty, and nasty place. There was Urine outside on the stairs going up and it smelled so bad floor there was old pee to begin with. It was a tense and scary stay overall! Definitely will not be returning to this location.

HORRIBLE STAY — DON’T BOOK! The room smelled like sewer, and it was unbearable. Only two flat pillows and a paper-thin comforter. Only 2 bath towels were provided and one smelled like it had been washed with kitchen towels — it had a strong greasy odor. The room felt dirty, and we ended up sleeping in our car because of the smell. wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Overall it was horrible experience because it was dirty & rundown place! Not even worth the price for one night! Plus was charged a deposit of $35 extra & still waiting for refund for it!

I could not locate motel. When I called, there was nobody to help me directions, I finally got directions from a Great Western Motel where it is, when I arrived, there was no record of my reservation, representative allowed me to access reservation on Yahoo email. It was there. Hours went by, I was exhausted. Room was pretty shoddy. No blankets. Also, your motel sign was not illuminated, which great contributed to my inability to locate motel.

So I did not realize this until we got into the facility that this is an extended stay hotel,upon arrival they had people doing mechanic work in the parking lot. They had big dogs running loose in the parking lot the outside parking lot was filthy as well as the room… we checked in on a Saturday Sunday they did not service our room I called down asking for clean towels to be told that housekeeping was not available Monday we called asking for towels they asked if we was a day guest or extended stay I said daily they then tell us that it was up to housekeeping or we can pay to wash their towels , my partner went to the office and they manager looks at him and said well everyone starts as a daily guest and yet they are still here , hotel 6 has always had a high standard of being a reasonable hotel but clean this is not acceptable the staff was rude and had an attitude and it needs to be fixed !!!

Red flag number 1 was the “Narcan available in case of overdose” sticker in the lobby window. Holes in the wall, the floor was dirty. Roaches were present. The outlet was jerked out of the wall. The light switch had been transformed into an ashtray (even though it was a non smoking room). The plastic in the bathroom light fixture was broken so instead of repairing it, styrofoam plates were inserted in its place. Mildew in the showers. Bathroom doorknob was missing.
My 12 year old daughter was too scared to sleep bc of the sketchy individuals hanging around the property. I have pictures, but I don’t think there’s a place to upload them.
I booked on the app for convenience to the amphitheater, but the pictures and information on the app did not match reality. Hands down the worst experience in a hotel EVER.

The staff was great, no complaint there. My room didnt have a chair, was told modst dont, so asked for one abd they brought me one from the lobby. The room on the otherhand was awful. It smelled of sewage, dead bygs on the flor, everything in the room was sticky including the tv remote. I went to the near by store and bought clorox wipes and wiped everything down. The floors were hardwood and sticky. I checked the bed throughly for bed bugs and other bugs and none, but i still did not want to sleep on the sheets so i got my sleeping bag out of my car and used that. I never felt unsafe and i did notice the front desk had security monitors set up to veiw the entire property. Would not recomend staying here due to the unclean rooms

Filthy, high drug area. Not clean enough for anyone. We came in and the room still had razor blades on the dresser

Tried two rooms. First bedroom had cockroaches (and baby cockroaches & tiny bugs crawling on the floor. Second room seemed to have bed bugs 😭 do not stay here if you don't wish to pickup either of these!
