I got a river view room, the walls were so thin I could hear everything from the adjacent room. I had to turn on the television to stop hearing the noises.

Staff was great, room was very comfortable, and restaurants were delightful. Did not appreciate the mandatory $30 destination fee, however.

Rooms were very clean. Building was right off the bridge and close to many locations. Staff was friendly and extremely accommodating with animals. 10/10 experience.

Staff here is amazing. Despite being an older property we continue to return as rooms as spacious and very scenic. Lala at checking was professional and well informed when we asked questions about places in the area. Had a problem with our key card and Charlie assisted in fixing that problem

I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn in Portland! The staff were so lovely and accommodating, the place was really clean, and the location was perfect.

The room is clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is a simple American meal. The flight was delayed and we were able to check in quickly in the middle of the night. We helped to solve accommodation problems. It is worth recommending

Absolutely wonderful. Staff was top notch. They even gave us $100 credit to use for food and drinks. 10/10 recommends the roof top bar is gorgeous a total vibe.

Overall, the service was quite good, and there's a collaborating coffee shop nearby where you can grab a bite.

We really like the corner room with city view that we got. It was clean, smell good, the windows are clean, able to see the city. The only thing that bothered us a little is the fact that the rooms are not soundproofed. We could literally hear anything coming out of other rooms lol. Hyatt Centric was a super clean, safe, and amazing hotel. It was located in an excellent part of downtown (right next to a Stumptown Coffee!). The hotel is designed in a very sleak manner with spacious and clean rooms. The staff were very helpful in answering questions and opening a wine bottle & giving wine glasses to drink the wine in my room. The price was excellent for the quality of the hotel...

The room was clean and hygienic.

Breakfast was good, eggs, sausage, sweet muffins, small sweet roll, 2 kinds of cereal, fresh fruit salad, OJ, ice water, coffee and hot water for tea. No toast/bagels available. I took off a star for "comfort" as the hot water for tea was made in the same machine as the coffee and had that oily coffee taste that is very bitter and ruined the herbal tea bag I brought from home. This is a common problem...

Convenience, Clean and good service. You just walk only 2to3 blocks to get in the center of Portland.

It's quite old and can't be compared to domestic standards. It's perfect for guests who want a location close to the exhibition center and a lower price than the Hyatt. I won't be staying there next year anyway. I didn't take any photos. Checking out was on a weekend, and some locals even brought their own pillows and sheets. Interesting!

The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Parking is an extra charge, but it's quite safe.

So, they send you a text when you check in telling you to text them if you have any questions. They don't respond. There's no information in the room about anything at the hotel like the restaurant. There's a repeating message on the TV and buttons on the remote for account information and a hotel directory. They don't work. I always find it weird that hotels with restaurants don't do more to promote...

This was an excellent pick! I chose this hotel because I wanted to visit the beach. Once I checked in, I headed straight for the beach. Definitely a great choice and a wonderful experience.

The refrigerator is too noisy, and so is the air conditioner. It's inconvenient to enter through the main door with large luggage. The elevator sign is unclear, and you have to keep pressing it. The door is very tight, and there is no sign on how to open it. The waiter had to come down to help open it.

The location is great for anyone who has an early morning flight for Portland International Airport. The bed was very clean and comfortable and the room size was generously large.

The location is a little bit of a different spot. Not really able to walk anywhere but kinda not close to anything. Now for the service it completely top of the pack. The rooms were nice including a big bathroom living area with plenty of space. The room included a nice 70 inch Samsung TV.

We stayed here during an overnight layover and were impressed by the super clean room, updated decor, friendly staff, and quiet location despite being so close to the airport. We called for the free airport shuttle which arrived promptly at Island 2 Ground Transportation just outside baggage claim. Our friendly driver assisted some elderly folks with their luggage and with getting into the van. Van...

This is a very busy place. Lots of folks utilize the proximity to the airport to stay the night before their trip and park their car until they return. There is a free airport shuttle. Located next to a small lake makes for a lovely view and quiet atmosphere. Business travel is also prevalent with very nice rooms and on-site dining and bar.

It's...fine. Do not get caught up in the 1-bedroom suite upgrade, it's not 1-bedroom, and they aren't remodeled like the regular rooms. Ear plugs are provided...and you're going to need them....just saying. Lastly, teach your chef to season the food, please.

My daughter and I stayed here in early October 2025. I can only say nice things about this hotel. Kevin, the General Manager, was warm, welcoming, and helpful. The front desk staff were professional. Very dated, especially the depressing (long) hallways which are brown and beige with old carpet. The room itself was "okay". Strange feature was the (2) hand basins were in the room rather then the bathroom, and the taps were a bizarre "pull" type which I had never seen before. (It took some strength to operate, so I'm not sure an elder guess would be able to operate!!). Overall, the hotel was adequate...

We had a great stay at The Hoxton, Portland. The room was very clean and well maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. They really made us feel comfortable and taken care of. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The staff were really nice but the location is less than desirable. The room wasn’t bad, but the rug was really tattered. The bedding was really crisp and felt clean. Not the worst place I’ve stayed, but not the best.

The Hoxton is one of our favorite places for a staycation and that’s big because I love my own home and bed. I love the luxe feel and the city vibes all wrapped into one. They have amazing dining options and their speakeasy is a vibe.

The location is great since it's close to downtown. Both the room and the lobby are clean, and there is free water available in the lobby. Breakfast is a simple buffet style, but the variety of options is somewhat limited.

The hotel in general was really nice. Clean, comfortable, convenient. The only two suggestions I would make would be to not get back to the hotel too late because parking fills up, and to use the safe in the hotel room if you’re leaving valuables or cash in the room. Our team stayed at this hotel while we were in town for a tournament. This was a freshly updated hotel which offered clean rooms and comfortable beds. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The continental breakfast was good and offered enough options to feed all our boys. I would recommend this hotel.

Good spot, but right next to the train tracks. Some homeless wandering around and 1 guest made a scene and the police were called our first night there. The guest that had the police called on her was there for the remainder of our stay. I found it odd that they weren’t sent on their way when the cops were called. Clean room though.

Exactly what I needed last minute. Had a wonderful sandwich and coffee to start the day by a cozy fireplace. Grateful such a historic building is still bringing life to the city. The staff was exceptionally helpful and insightful.

If you want a low budget but high cost-effectiveness, this is a good choice, but one disadvantage is that there are many homeless people around, but they are not very aggressive.

It has a superior location, warm service, simple and fashionable style, and combines the characteristics of an international youth hostel and a check-in B&B.

The hotel is amazing. It's very clean and chic. The bar abd rooftop lounge are an added bonus! There's a very cute drag bar right across the street. The only downside is that parking around here is tricky. DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING, AND I MEAN ANYTHING, IN YOUR CAR.

Stayed for one night. The gym is a little small, a single room with couple of treadmills and some dumbbells.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious although the bathroom is small. There is also a small bar, concession area and restaurant on site. It was a good location for ghe Gresham area we were visitjng. The bed was comfortable. I would have liked a heavier weight comforter. But still, we slept very well.
