Easy access, plenty of parking. Room was acceptably clean, beds were comfortable. You can tell they had done some painting and various maintenance, but like most budget hotels, the showers looked like the caulking needed fixed and the ceiling above the shower had been poorly patched/repaired. This is a common thing due to water damage in the shower area.

Budget hotel with good location.

It was my first time in the United States. This hotel was just like a domestic hostel. The rooms were located behind the lobby, with a flight of stairs, which was inconvenient if you had luggage. It was a hostel, and the room facilities and services were average. There were no places to eat around, and even when checking in at midnight, the lobby only accepted cash when buying water.

Friday morning there wasn’t any bacon left at 7:30 and the egg&cheese servings left something to be desired. Saturday morning the eggs were gone when we got there at 7:30 and not refilled! We ate out Sunday morning. Monday morning the breakfast was great. Lots of scrambled eggs, sausage & bacon.

The staff was helpful. Housekeeping slipped one day and didn't come. But the manager called and remedied that. Room was pleasant, small bathrooms areas are my only disappointment. Very unique property (use to be a church) that was very well kept. My room was clean and had many nice amenities. The neighborhood was calm with restaurants and dive bars walking distance.

Floors were dirty in room, shower had hair on the wall, wash cloths were very dingy, and hair in the bed. Also the room had a weird smell especially when the AC came on.

The room was in good condition except that the bed felt like itchy. Not sure if it is because it is a pet friendly hotel and people sleep with the dogs on the beds, but that was the only down side. Other than that, staff was friendly.

Had an amazing kids free staycation here. Jaime from Louisiana the concierge lady was so sweet from check in to check out she was treating us like royalty. We stayed at Loews Vanderbilt and absolutely loved it. The rooms were perfect. The lobby was beautiful and very inviting to the Xmas decorations to the complementary tea and water. The valet staff was the best anywhere. Although we didn’t have a car they drove us to our places we wanted to go and would pick us up when we called. Joe Day and I wish I remembered all their names were the best.

Th floor of my room was very warm to the touch. It seemed like there was heat coming from the room under mine which made my room extremely hot at times. I had to keep the AC on at all times to cool down but there were moments where it didn’t help for how hot it was in the room. The WiFi wasn’t the best but that was to be expected

Clean room although rooms need more coffee; creamer and sugar. Coffee is not offered in common areas during the day and not enough coffee and coffee condiments is left in the rooms. I drink coffee all day and did not like the overpriced coffee at the coffee shop when I should be able to make it in my room.

The front desk staff was amazing! Between phone calls and face to face interaction the day of our check in, all of the staff I spoke with were kind and helpful! The room was amazing, the pool area was the perfect retreat on a cold day and the breakfast was incredible.

The only bad thing about the hotel is they have only 5 elevators which are not sufficient for the quantity of people so you may be waiting for the elevator to come down or up for up to 15 minutes at a time.

The hotel is conveniently located opposite Vanderbilt University, making it very easy to get to school. There's a row of restaurants, including a BBQ place, just across the road behind the hotel, which is quite convenient. The hotel is clean and comes with a kitchen, so you can do some light cooking.
