Unfortunately, my stay at Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston did not meet expectations.
The breakfast was disappointing due to very limited choices. In addition, there are no proper restaurants or dining options within walking distance of the property, which makes meals inconvenient.
The surrounding area also felt unsafe. The neighborhood appeared run-down, and there were many homeless people around the property, which made me feel uncomfortable, especially at night.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel, particularly for families or travelers who value safety, food options, and a comfortable environment.

Very clean premises, lobby, and room. Extremely friendly and courteous staff. Large rooms with oversized TV and overwhelming choice of TV channels. Small, but nice pool with water fall and pool lounges and tables. Very conveniently located to airport, and walking distance for food and convenience stores. Second year staying here while attending events at Houston Univ.

Room was very neglected three out of the four nights we had roaches that were in the room they supposedly cleaned it and sprayed never happened. Had a mold smell when you first walk in or anytime you had the AC on. Anytime that I try to talk with the manager no response or never on the property never came into clean the room or anything. Had to go find a maid to get fresh towels. Whenever I finally got a hold of somebody, they said roaches were normal for Texas. I grew up in Oklahoma in Texas and no, it’s not normal and when you call corporate to get any type of compensation or any dealings with the hotel, they say you have to contact the property itself. How do you run a hotel chain if you can’t call corporate on a hotel.

I had to unexpectedly find a hotel at the last minute and found this one at 10pm on a Friday night. The young woman working the desk was very nice and efficient and got me in a room right away. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the rpom was. I stayed two nights and was very pleased. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning cold, and the hot water hot.

Subject to change. Waiting for service as we text. Ordered a shot 5 minutes ago. Still waiting. Definitely not a gringo bar.
Terrible bartender. Had to ask for a beer twice. My friend finally asked. Still waited for a few minutes to actually get one.

Now called "La Playita" crown n coke is $9, hurricane or any mixed drink is $15, watered down on top of the high price, nothing but dudes here, I was the only one with a girl... I won't be coming back.... expensive and it's a hole in the wall... My wife ordered a plate of food and said it was disgusting, the rice, beans, etc... Didn't finish... We left to bombshells.... Should of never stopped here lol....

Terrible service and they tried to charge me three times for drinks I already paid for! At $9.73 for a Crown & Coke the first screwing was bad enough. Don't waste your time.

Our server had and incredible memory and was out hustling other that were half his age. I'm sorry I forgot his name but the manager said he had been there for decades. Can't find work ethic like that anymore.

Wow Denny's at 45S in Houston is great. From the time you walk in to the time you leave. We never leave with a bad experience. The service is great, the waitresses (ers) are always making sure you have the best service possible even if they are swamped. Our waitress was Jessica, thank you Jess we'll be back soon. The food is freshly made to order, no frozen, you can tell when the food has been frozen. I personally recommend the egg white omelet stuffed with cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, and onions. I swear I have eaten at other Denny's and this place is the best! We make it a point to dine here every time we visit Houston. Highly recommend it!

Usually exceptional but lately they seem to be a bit off thier game. My last couple drive thru orders were missing the condiments (salsa or guac). For me, not major enough to go back but still disappointing.

We have been going to this Taco Cabana location for many years. And its always been good, but we just spent $37 on tacos for my wife, granddaughter and myself And the steak is so salty that we can't even eat a whole taco. Needless to say, we are very unsatisfied with this meal. I won't even call to complain, but I also will not ever be back.

Good Tex-Mex fast food. This Cabana gave me the full proportions when I ordered the Cabana bowl, which I love. I don't like when other Taco Cabanas skimp on ingredients.

The unassuming exterior let me go in with no expectations. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of the food. I appreciated the large amount of salsa offerings as well. The cashier recommended the fajitas as being popular and I can see why. In all, I've had better but the value proposition of Taco Cabana is very good.
