Oakwood's movers got in a fight with our moving company, the police were called, refused to work with the management of our apartment complex when asked to move their vehicle, and were generally disrespectful to us and the property management. While we weren't customers of Oakwood, the fact that they would condone such behavior in their employees is very concerning and speaks to the level of professionalism that is acceptable for Oakwood in Crystal City.

Very clean. The rooms are spacious, maintained and pleasant. The staff is friendly and very helpful. A short train ride away from downtown but still surrounded by grocery stores, coffee shops and nice restaurants. If you're trying to see DC but want to get away from it and sleep well at night, this is a nice place

I have been here for a month now and overall good experience. Management is extremely nice and helpful. However the people who live here are rude and inconsiderate. I’ve been triggered with people constantly slamming doors back and forth (seemingly to be on purpose). Minor issues with insects upon arrival but easily fixed in a day, by using an indoor bug spray. Again, great place to live besides the neighbors.

My tour at Marlowe Apartments was excellent due to the fabulous Myia Harris!!! Her energy and professionalism gave!! Myia was very knowledgeable about the Marlowe Apartments and about DC area which was very helpful. I have been in the military for 22 years and on my 12th move, I can tell you it doesn’t get easier, but when you have a kind person when you are stressed out from looking at apartment after apartment it truly is refreshing to run into someone like Myia. Myia thank you for the best apartment tour in VA/DC!!!! Marlowe Apartments is very fortunate to have you represent them! You Shine!

Ask them about how the A/C doesn’t actually do anything and about how they’ll overcharge you after you move out, not send you a notice, then make you have a delinquent account on your credit report!
Also, ask them about how they don’t update you of the modified statement after moths of dispute then send you to collections for non payment on something you were NEVER notified of and for a debt that’s in dispute! Ask them about how they blatantly break the law so they don’t have to deal with their former tenets!

I met with Myia to view apartments tonight and she stayed past closing to give me a tour and answer all of my questions. She was upfront and honest about everything the building had to offer. She is the only honest leasing manager I’ve met in Crystal City. Marlowe is a beautiful building and I can’t wait to sign my lease. Thank you Myia!

Rented directly from Oakwood for as full week for our family vacation to DC. When checking in we were informed that the pool didn't open until Monday, Memorial Day. The condo was spacious but very worn. It definitely needs updated. The front staff was not helpful. We asked for a chair for the balcony three different times and never got it. The swimming pool had an issue and was finally fixed the night before we left. We never got to use the pool. Coffee bar was nice to have but was broken down for over half of our stay. Nice location to the metro. If I had to do over again we would have stayed at another place. I hate to complain considering I have 2 vacation properties myself in Florida and understand that things do happen.

The rooms have lots of space and are very well kept, The access to the metro is very nice, and the free coffee machine is very good to have in the morning.
