Most hotels in Samarkand have a lot of fake 5 start reviews, but this hotel really deserves 5 stars. After staying in a few other hotels in Samarkand, we booked 4 nights in this hotel. The first thing I have to compliment is the service - the staff was so much friendlier and more helpful than any other place we encountered. They really did their best to make our stay comfortable. Also - the beds are great, not rock hard like so many other hotels in Uzbekistan.

Nice hotel in the city centre. First room we got smelled so bad of must and damp, almost like mould. However when we told the staff about it they were very fast to find us a new room, which was amazing, perfectly clean and smelt great. The breakfast was also amazing with a good variety - only thing that would be nice would be to have labels for all the food. I ate something that had nuts in which I'm allergic, however it is 100% my fault as I never mentioned I had an allergy. However food labels would be nice touch l. Thanks for a a great stay and such nice people working there

Definitely would recommend this hotel. Staff at the hotel is super super nice and welcoming, they are making sure that you have a pleasant stay - from free transfer from airport, to adjusting temperature in the room to accommodating my mom’s strict diet since she is vegan. Breakfast offers variety of food. I’ve read reviews that the hotel is not close to tourists attractions, but i would disagree as 30min walk to main attraction is quite okay in my opinion.

Our tour group stayed at this boutique hotel, it’s very centrally located, grocery, restaurant, coffee shops and many other shops are very close by.
The hotel was clean and staff spoke English very well, the morning breakfast spread were pretty good, plenty of fruit and healthy options. Lots of table space too. I think the food was good is because they also own a restaurant across the street, so they know how to cook?👍

We highly recommend staying at Ideal Hotel. The staff is extremely kind and helpful and made our stay wonderful. Buffet breakfast was awesome. They can arrange transfer from/to the train station. On our arrival, we were greated with tea and sweets.
The manager arranged a one day tour to the 7 lakes in Tadjikistan. We got a lunch box and everything went smoothly.
