Most hotels in Samarkand have a lot of fake 5 start reviews, but this hotel really deserves 5 stars. After staying in a few other hotels in Samarkand, we booked 4 nights in this hotel. The first thing I have to compliment is the service - the staff was so much friendlier and more helpful than any other place we encountered. They really did their best to make our stay comfortable. Also - the beds are great, not rock hard like so many other hotels in Uzbekistan.

Nice hotel in the city centre. First room we got smelled so bad of must and damp, almost like mould. However when we told the staff about it they were very fast to find us a new room, which was amazing, perfectly clean and smelt great. The breakfast was also amazing with a good variety - only thing that would be nice would be to have labels for all the food. I ate something that had nuts in which I'm allergic, however it is 100% my fault as I never mentioned I had an allergy. However food labels would be nice touch l. Thanks for a a great stay and such nice people working there

Definitely would recommend this hotel. Staff at the hotel is super super nice and welcoming, they are making sure that you have a pleasant stay - from free transfer from airport, to adjusting temperature in the room to accommodating my mom’s strict diet since she is vegan. Breakfast offers variety of food. I’ve read reviews that the hotel is not close to tourists attractions, but i would disagree as 30min walk to main attraction is quite okay in my opinion.

I stayed with my parents at the Ideal Hotel in Samarkand and was thoroughly impressed with our experience. The hotel provided a complimentary transfer from the train station, which was a convenient start to our stay. Our room was clean and cozy, featuring comfortable mattresses and pillows, quality blankets, and a small balcony overlooking the courtyard. The spacious bathroom included a bidet, adding to the comfort. As a vegetarian, I appreciated the extensive breakfast selection that catered to my dietary preferences. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with green tea, and at departure, we received postcards showcasing Uzbekistan's landmarks—a thoughtful touch. The hotel's location is convenient, approximately a 15-minute walk from the city center. The route offers views of various churches and museums, and a pleasant stroll along the boulevard. The hotel also features a charming courtyard with fountains and seating areas, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were attentive and responsive, enhancing the overall experience. I highly recommend Ideal Hotel for its excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and great location.

Our tour group stayed at this boutique hotel, it’s very centrally located, grocery, restaurant, coffee shops and many other shops are very close by.
The hotel was clean and staff spoke English very well, the morning breakfast spread were pretty good, plenty of fruit and healthy options. Lots of table space too. I think the food was good is because they also own a restaurant across the street, so they know how to cook?👍

We highly recommend staying at Ideal Hotel. The staff is extremely kind and helpful and made our stay wonderful. Buffet breakfast was awesome. They can arrange transfer from/to the train station. On our arrival, we were greated with tea and sweets.
The manager arranged a one day tour to the 7 lakes in Tadjikistan. We got a lunch box and everything went smoothly.

This is a large hotel that caters to groups and independent travellers. The service is so prompt and personalised that it makes you feel at home. Special thanks to front desk manager Bobur. Everything is perfectly streamlined and every request is taken care off. The breakfast spread is varied and delicious, and you can order tea and coffee to the room anytime. There are several restaurants within walking distance for lunch and dinner.

New hotel very well kept and very clean. Nothing is missing in the rooms although a kettle would be appreciated. However the breakfast is varied and the coffee in particular is very good. I have read numerous reviews that talk about cold water, I noticed that just let it run a little and the hot water arrives! Recommended

Tacky hotel in need of an update. I'm sure there were better rooms but mine, 207, was like a dungeon with only one small window high up on the wall. The bathroom shower rail was at a slant and the previous occupant"s hair covered soap was still in the soap dish. Extractor fan needs replacing and the water from other rooms was very noisy in the pipes. Bed and pillow comfortable. Breakfast poor. Not enough staff when lots of guests.
