Samarkand, Shokruh Mirzo Street; 53, Samarkand (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Top hotel, one of the best in town, with spacious rooms, restaurant, swimming pool (indoor and outdoor), gym and everything you need. The place was clean and we had a confortable experience. I would recommend.
I had a lovely stay here. The bed was super comfortable and the room had everything I needed. The lobby area is the main focus though. It is so thoughtfully curated. It's a stunning place. I'd come back!
Beautiful lobby area, great location, lovely selection at breakfast, little disappointed with the actual room, it didn’t reflect the exterior or public areas, but it was manageable
Nice clean modern hotel. Front desk staff are super friendly and ready to help
Everything was really good - at the room, at the restaurant, at the spa
The hotel was very clean and the looks were great

Nice ambiences with beautiful garden at the center. Restaurant has live band jazz music performance, relaxing atmosphere and good mix of Uzbek and western fusion. Love their fruit tea.
Park setting..Hotel is beautiful. Very good breakfast. Upscale restaurant on premises.
The breakfast buffet was the most elaborate and delicious one I encountered on my entire trip to Uzbekistan and a fierce competitor to other buffets I have enjoyed in many hotel restaurants around the world
We loved the ambience and overall cleanliness of the hotel. The onsite restaurant offers excellent food and attentive service. Although the listing mentions a pool, we didn’t notice one during our stay
We truly hope the hotel can maintain its pristine standards — special kudos to the female staff member we saw meticulously cleaning the front exterior, brushing fallen leaves and even the red carpet
Surprising good and newly renovated hotel, everything is perfect. Located at a very nice and quiet area near the park, the hotel is designed to tailor for international travellers

Your warm hospitality made our visit truly memorable and comfortable. Your genuine care, attention to detail, and readiness to assist at every moment did not go unnoticed
We had a pleasant stay, the staff is friendly. The pool is a bit cold due to being in the shade the whole day.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet; it offered a wide variety of delicious options to start the day
Note of Appreciation: We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Firuz for the exceptional kindness, support, and professionalism they extended to us during our stay at Medina Hotel, Samarkand

The hotel is very nice and not far from the attractions. The hotel itself is new and well-equipped with everything. The front desk staff are very polite and attentive to our needs
It’s one thing to have great facilities (which is the case) and it is a whole different level to compliment this with a great service. The guys at the reception- big heads up for taking care of my breast milk
The best hotel ever so far in Uzbekistan with an amazing service, very polite people and warm hospitality. I’d suggest to visit this place whoever comes to Samarkand. I’m sure you won’t regret visiting it.
We loved our stay here! The hotel is new but designed in a traditional Uzbek style. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The spa is beautiful and treatments affordable. Would absolutely come back!
I stayed here for one night while sightseeing in Samarkand. The amenities were excellent and the room was clean. The restaurant right in front of the hotel was also delicious
The receptionist was incredibly kind and beautiful, and she handled all our needs perfectly. Breakfast, provided personally by the restaurant staff, was also very plentiful

Also, the hairdryer in the room would automatically stop after a while, which was inconvenient for drying hair. Overall, I had a very satisfying two days here, making my trip to Samarkand very pleasant
Good location near registan square
AC made awful clanging noise one night waking us up so we had to turn it off for a while. Beds were okay, but not really comfortable. We didn’t have a walk in shower, only tub with shower head
A 2 story hotel, so no lift; but the eager porters got our bags up the stairs efficiently; and collected them on our departure day. A quick and professional group check in too
There is a permanently on heated towel rail in the compact bathroom though, which on a 30 C day overheats the whole room; not just the bathroom. Why not supply an ON / OFF valve; which would help save energy too
Hot food again was not being kept food hygiene safe hot. Nice brown bread was the highlight. Food was not topped up for the last hour of the service on our sleep in day. A flat white, etc coffee can be made to order

A very spacious room with all the amenities, including a small balcony. Delicious breakfasts and helpful staff. The hotel is located in a nice area near University Boulevard, within walking distance of the Registan
The bathroom included both a shower and a deep soaking tub, complemented by a generous supply of toiletries. Service at the hotel was excellent. The staff were smart, responsive, and efficient in addressing any requests
The room felt elegant and high-end, with thoughtful design elements such as a recessed ceiling adorned with a beautiful chandelier, ample outlets, good lighting, plush carpeting, and impeccable cleanliness throughout
Overall, Ametist Complex offers a refined and comfortable experience with excellent service and thoughtful amenities — an ideal choice for travelers seeking comfort and a touch of elegance in Samarkand
A wonderful place, everything is new, clean, and beautiful. We didn't get around to the pool. There are some good cafes and grocery stores nearby, and a liquor store is 1 km away.
The hotel has a great location on the main street, with several good restaurants and a nice dessert shop nearby. The hotel breakfast is also quite plentiful. Recommended.

The hotel is in the city center, the transportation is very convenient, the room is very clean
There is a beautiful courtyard in the middle of the hotel. Good range of Breakfast dishes. Very helpful hotel staff at the reception lobby. Near to Amir Temur Gur-i-Amir Mausoleum by taxi
We arrived late, they checked us in very quickly. The room has slippers, a dental kit, tea, coffee, water, and air conditioning. There is cola and fanta in the fridge
Shaxzoda Elite is an excellent hotel for Tourists visiting Samarkand. The hotel is fully carpeted and its newly refurbished interiors are very beautifully designed
But be prepared to be surprised by how very small and compact the hotel room is, although it is well equipped
The breakfast is decent, very tasty plums, porridge, and samsa. The staff is attentive to guests

Well done guys! Very cool service, location, rooms. We will definitely return. And yes, the breakfasts are delicious too)))
Nice big rooms and very good breakfast, location is convenient - around 10mins walk to Registan and Gur Emir. But the rest was not meeting expectations given the high price
The spa has good facilities but is not operated properly - I had reserved in advance but when I was let in the sauna and hammam was only just turned on so nowhere near proper temperature even by the time my hour ended
The jacuzzi was connected to the pool so the entire area was cold water, with the pool water level too high - I think they were supposed to be filled separately and not kept at fully filled level
The only thing missing is a bidet in the bathroom. The location is central, a few minute walk from everything you need to see in Samarkand. And a 15-minute drive from the train station
I was so tired and just wanted to use the bathroom and go to sleep and he would ask me to wait an hour for his manager to come, and then lecture me about how things are done in hotels worldwide, as if I did not know, having stayed in hundreds of hotels myself… anyway, I figured he was just new and a bit awkward but there was no need for the condescending tone or to imply that we were going to leave...

You can also take a taxi, which costs 100-150 rubles. The staff is very polite! They'll tell you everything you need to know and make sure you're comfortable. The breakfasts are quite good, and the cleaning is excellent
Super clean and huge rooms in the new wing. Location was great because of walking distance to restaurants at the gastronomy street despite being on a quiet side street. Not too far from attractions and train station
We liked the location – it's close to a street with many restaurants. Registan Square is about a 25-minute walk away, where you'll find a pedestrian street, a market, and other attractions
For improvement, the pool water was 19 degrees, so we couldn't use it. The Turkish bath also never heated up. But overall, the price and quality are in line
The breakfast is very rich and I like it very much. There is a waiter at the coffee machine to help make coffee. The stay is also very comfortable
The only thing I am curious about is why there are no screens on the windows. It is very quiet and I sleep very comfortably at night

I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel. All my expectations were fully met. The staff were polite and attentive; you feel their welcoming attitude towards guests from the very first moment
A big plus is the sauna and swimming pool. After walking around the city, it was especially nice to relax in the hotel's spa area in the evening. This added even more comfort to my vacation
Very nice and new hotel. Facilities are great coupled w very helpful staff Nice courtyard and ambience. Breakfast spread is great. Easy access to nearby sights and good restaurants
The room was clean and cozy, with everything you need. I especially want to highlight the very convenient location of the hotel, making it easy to get to the city's main attractions
The room was very spacious, and the bathroom had a double bathtub.

An excellent hotel with very friendly staff. It's conveniently located, close to attractions. Breakfasts are very filling and varied. The rooms are also excellent. The staff actively maintains cleanliness.
I totally recommend this hotel. The room was very clean, and the bathroom was spotless as well. They even moved our baggage into the room before check-in. The receptionist was very kind and helpful
Because I had unpleasant experiences in previous hotels, I was really happy to hear him say that. I was also sick during the night, and he kindly provided me with extra water
I stayed there for one night with my wife and daughter. Their staff is very polite and kind. We will definitely use that hotel on our next trip to Samarkand
We were worried about whether the bill had been paid by the original hotel, since the day before we had a similar experience and got caught during checkout
I didn’t book this hotel myself — I was sent here because the hotel I originally booked was overbooked and had no room for me

In particular, Aziza at the front desk was a delight, she was so so friendly, answered all our questions and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was amazing too–huge selection and all delicious!
The best part about staying at Samaria Hotel and Spa was the location it is so close to Registan and all the beautiful cultural landmarks and the amazing Aziza on the reception! Aziza helped us find everything we needed!
The breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace, offering not just great views but also a delicious spread that includes Indian dishes and other international cuisines—a real treat to start your day

The first really truly plump comfortable beds since leaving the UK. The rooms were homely and the hotel had a central atrium with seats and garden area
I would recommend this hotel for it's unique style and home comforts that you will truly appreciate coming to the end of your Silk Road journey where the beds are almost solid wood and no concept of what enables a good night's sleep
Wonderful staff and a smorgasbord for breakfast! Great location on a quieter street but easy to get taxis to nearby attractions. Everything you need in the room and lots of facilities to enhance your stay
We had a very pleasant stay here. Staff was especially cordial and accommodating our late checkin and requests. They have a nice Italian style courtyard and it’s very pleasant to sit and have tea there
I spent 4 nights here as part of a group tour. The rooms are pretty comfortable, with a view of the leafy central courtyard

Staff were extremely helpful and polite Restaurant food including breakfast was nice The only thing which let it down was bathroom which did not have a proper shower and the tub left no space for standing at the sink
Nice hotel, with excellent service, but avoid the restaurant, by all means. It took more than 3 hours to have dinner and food was just ok. Also , it was the most expensive meal we had in Samrkande by far.
Ticks all the boxes and goes above and beyond. The property is located at a walking distance from the touristy areas, and yet is quiet and peaceful. We absolutely loved everything about it
Terrific location - I walked to all significant site in Samarkand. The two men who worked in the reception area were professional, fRiendly and cared about my experience
Great breakfast offerings. Room is smaller than I expected for the price.
This is a good hotel in an excellent location, and the staff is helpful. But it is overpriced compared to similar hotels in Uzbekistan.

A wonderful hotel, very friendly staff, beautiful and cozy rooms, comfortable beds, clean, we loved everything. It's located near the Registan, easy to get to by taxi
The only downside is the poor breakfasts, limited choice, and not very tasty
The beds were extremely comfortable, and with the curtains drawn, we took the best naps of our lives! The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and the breakfast buffet had a lot of wonderful options
We had friends with us, one of whom was a vegetarian, and she had no trouble eating to her heart's content. Perhaps the one downside was that our WiFi signal was poor
We spent two nights there as part of a tour. Although it's not in the city center, you can walk to the main square in 15-20 minutes. It's clean, and the room and bathroom are spacious and comfortable
Maria and I were pleased with this Hotel. We stayed two nights at this Hotel. Registan Square and Amur Timur Mosque are a very reasonable distance, about 20 minutes, on foot

We had a great time at Wellfort hotel. The room was spacious, clean, well-designed and very comfortable. Great breakfast with variety of dishes, friendly and helpful staff and good location. Highly recommended
PROS -15min taxi from the airport, it was practical as we arrived in the middle of the night and were able to quickly check-in (download Yandex for cheap taxis) -great A/C and amazing WiFi (managed to stream flawlessly) -comfortable beds and even more comfortable cushions -great shower -2 complimentary bottles of water per day per room -close to Pub Street which has a bit of nightlife (5min walk) ...
Just got back from Samarkand where we stayed at the WellFort Hotel for almost a week, and I honestly can't say enough good things about this place! We were traveling with my mom who uses a wheelchair, so I was pretty nervous about accessibility
The front desk staff were amazing from day one - helping with our bags, always making sure my mom could get around easily, and even giving us free spring water bottles all the time (we drink like a fish, lol)
I especially appreciated the attention to detail in the design and cleanliness. Breakfast was another highlight — fresh, varied, and delicious, with both local and international options
The location of the hotel is also very convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and public transport, yet quiet enough to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. Overall, Wellfort Hotel exceeded my expectations

A word of caution! Avoid eating at Shoxjahon across from the hotel! It's not a good place, and they charge a 15% service fee, yet offer absolutely no service! Even worse, after paying by credit card, my card was successfully charged, but the hotel claimed the transaction was canceled and insisted I pay again
Good breakfast and friendly staff. The room and bathroom were a good size. Heads up! The pool is seasonal. It says so in the description, but I booked specifically because of the pool, using that as a filter in my search
The hotel service was excellent. The staff were very friendly—they allowed me to check in early and even arranged an early breakfast so I could make it to the airport on time. It was great value for the price.
The decor is dated, but it's a comfortable hotel with everything you need. The shower pressure was a bit low. Some hotel staff playing on their phones on the reception sofas gave a bad impression
The hotel didn't provide drinking water or hairdryers, but they were available upon request at the front desk, though I think it's better to have them
The breakfast was okay, with mostly cold dishes except for the fried eggs and sausages

Finally the hotel is far from the historic center
Everything was excellent — the hotel is clean, the breakfast was good, and it is situated near many good eating restaurants. The location is very convenient, close to the train station and main attractions
Izumrud Palace is the kind of small, family run enterprise that deserves our support. Room was clean and spotless, newly refurbished and everything was in great working order
When I accidentally missed my train and forgot to inform them, the management still took the initiative to text me and waited to ensure that my family and I arrived safely
Great hotel with very helpful staff. Nothing is too much for them. Family run for generations. Would definitely reccommend. The breakfast is amazing as well and complimentary.
The staff can speak English and were extremely helpful. The hotel also arranged transport transfer for us
