Silver Hotel in Tashkent

Quite a disappointing experience. The only good side is that it is reasonably clean - can’t deny that. The rest is an utter disappointment. The furniture is falling apart (the shelves were fixed on just two screws (not even 4 and not proper things to hold the shelf) so they fell on my foot. The shower is leaking, the pressure is low and there is no way to fix the shower head to the wall - it simply does not reach the holder. The washbasin is tiny - it is hard to wash your face and brush teeth. There is no drinking water in the rooms and no safe (nothing was stolen though). The soundproofing is nonexistent - you can hear people from the hall and since the reception is there it means you can hear everything. The electric sockets are loose and do not look safe. The official pictures do not reflect the real state of the rooms. Everything is rather old. I can expect it for a 2-star hotel, but they claim to be three stars, which is well beyond my understanding. It is cheap though and it does have a 24h reception desk. So if you are looking for a very cheap accommodation - you can give it a try, but do not expect anything more than a very basic amenities.
