The location of the hotel is the best. Its super close to the old quarter so you can easily find good food. The problem is in terms of cleanliness. The curtains are dirty and the ac has a very dark filter probably due to dust.

I came in early so I understand why I didnt get to check in early but some Chinese tourists came in after me and they checked in immediately. I left my luggage and went around the city. I came back around 3 pm and the front desk helped me with my baggage. I thought that was really nice of them to do.

The bed was comfortable. It could get loud in the morning because its in a busy area but if you will go out anyway, thats fine. Overall, the hotel fee is cheap so you get what you pay for but the location is good and convenient for travelers. Staff members are also nice.

I didn't have a great experience. The hotel room felt small and the overall environment was just okay. If you wanted laundry done, they charged 30,000 VND per kilogram and sent it out. I came back one evening to find my room hadn't been cleaned, apparently, you have to leave your key at the front desk for that. I even tried to check out early and switch hotels, but they wouldn't let me.

We checked in around 5 PM and were told we got the last room available, but it didn’t feel like the room we actually booked. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights, but we ended up checking out by 7 PM. We literally only stayed for 30 mins because it’s nowhere near what we expected it to be, so went out to grab dinner and went back to grab our luggages and checked out. They wouldn’t cancel the booking and they also couldn’t move us to another room. To add, the receptionist and reception area isn’t the same in the photos you’d see on their post. Majority of the photos here btw, I believe, are from the hotel management.

The room didn’t match the property details. No refrigerator, no minibar, no towels, no mini towels, no slippers. There was also no info anywhere that the building has no elevator. They placed us on the 3rd floor, but the structure is confusing so it felt like climbing 5 flights of stairs. We travel a lot and don’t usually mind stairs, but this one gets tiring especially if you’re going in and out.

When we entered the room, it looked like it was only “fixed up” and not actually cleaned. The beddings were crumpled, had stains (which was really gross) and honestly looked like they weren’t changed from the previous guest. The curtains looked unwashed, the walls were dirty and the room was much smaller than the photos. If you’re taller than the average Asian height, this place will feel very cramped. Even basic things like tissues weren’t enough.

Personally, I wouldn’t even call this a hotel. This is just my opinion based on my own experience, but I hope this helps anyone planning to book.

It’s in a great area, though. That I’ll give it to them.

I arrived at the hotel two hours before the official check-in time, the front desk allowed me to check in early. That small gesture was honestly the only positive part of my stay.

I had booked and paid for my room three months in advance, knowing that Hanoi would be especially crowded due to Vietnam’s 80th National Day celebration. However, just one day before my flight, the hotel suddenly emailed me to cancel my reservation. They claimed the hotel was located on a blocked-off street due to the parade, and offered no negotiation, alternative, or support—just a blunt cancellation notice.

I responded immediately, requesting that they keep my reservation, because after some research, I found out the hotel’s street was not actually blocked to traffic. I confirmed this in person during my stay—vehicles were moving through just fine. So why did they send that email? It left me confused and frustrated.

Their response wasn’t exactly welcoming either. They said staff wouldn’t be available on the holiday and that the hotel didn’t have an elevator. As a result, I had to carry my suitcase up six flights of stairs myself, while several empty, well-lit rooms remained open on the lower floors.

The room I finally received was extremely disappointing—dark, dirty, and nothing like the photos online. I could hear children screaming from the lower floors, and the windows were so filthy I wasn’t sure if the grime was cement or bird droppings. I never once opened the curtains during my entire stay. There was absolutely no city view, and I honestly wonder if this room has ever been reviewed before—it felt hidden away and forgotten.

To make things worse, the hot water system sounded like a construction site whenever it was turned on, the water pressure was barely a trickle, and the whole place felt damp and moldy.
